This placa is disgusting! They recently switched to new property management Portico and they are allowing trash, old furniture and tires to be thrown on property. Literally living in a dump

Before I begin, I'll say don't move here. In five years, what used to be the Park at Stone Creek has been acquired by three different property management companies. That's just since I moved here with my husband. The pool never runs, the maintenance issues are addressed at a snail's pace, the office is grossly incompetent, the grounds and the apartments themselves are dated with poor electrical, paint jobs, woodwork, and poor water fixtures. They made it complicated for residents to access the rental portal to pay their bill every month. This place is loud, has an influx of homeless who sleep in the playground area, and if you air conditioning goes out, you'll be lucky to get any help in two weeks. Bugs are exterminated, but even though my home is clean, they return. If you think that this is a great way to save a few hundred bucks. Think of all cons I have mentioned. You get what you pay for and in this case, it's garbage.
There is a water leak in my apartment I have been calling the office since February to fix it and they never do it, they only dry the folder but they don't fix the leak, my closet is full of water and humidity and I have to take out all my clothes , My husband who is in the contract went to the office to ask to speak with the Manager and those in the office do not allow him to speak with her to tell him what the problem is, I imagine he is not aware of the problem ... maintenance do nothing and the office seems that they do not care how one is living very bad treatment and I post it here to see if they do something like that, it seems unfair that they do not do their job well if one is paying them everything They ask is to be in the comfort of your home without leaks or humidity?

I should've read the reviews before applying. They DO lie and mislead to make you sign. I was shown the model apartment which was beautiful, they said the apartment that was smaller would have the exact same room size, living room and restroom. When it was a week before move in they let us see it (originally we couldn't since it was occupied) and it was a complete mess. Water damage on the walls, cheap paint and completely different than what the leasing lady promised it would look like. They did offer a bigger place but of course they wanted us to pay more. Long story short, we cancelled and I'm glad we did.

Super bad customer service been asking for my ACC to be fixed for about 3 years and different maintance worker come and they both said they’ll be back in about 30 minutes and they never showed up ! Really unprofessional staff . I wouldn’t recommend you to love her . Money being throw to the trash !
This place was bad, I literally moved out the first day. My place had roaches, the dish washer was broken, the back two oven burners was gone.
This place is the WORST. All building are infested with roaches. Office closes all the time without notice. Unprofessional staff. The area is VERY HIGH crime and noisy. 24 hour maintenance is a joke. Neighbors are loud and screaming kids are everywhere. The office does not respond to any maintenance requests. Vallet trash does not pick up. The list goes on.... DO NOT LIVE HERE
. Literally heard a flying roach over the sound of my television 20 minutes before writing this review. Since the first week I moved here I noticed an increase in cockroaches despite my various attempts to fight these insects. Ive tried everything from boric acid to heavy duty indoor and outdoor repellent bought from lowe's and they still come back. Come to find out I have holes in the infrastructure of my apartment. I've noticed the apartment complex about this and for three weeks now nothing has been done. The women at the office will smile in your face and tell you they will help you but nothing is done. I refer to my previous statement, do not move here even if its your last option.
When my husband and I decided to move to Austin, TX, we found Park at Stone Creek via an Apartment Locator service. We thought that it was a good fit for our budget. We hired a mover and traveled, with our cats, from New Jersey to Austin, which took 3 days. When we arrived on moving day, the apartment we were supposed to move into was a complete mess. We were met with dirty carpets, filthy fixtures, cabinets and drawers disassembled, and appliances disconnected and placed in the middle of the room. The ladies at the leasing office managed to move us into a bigger apartment, but they expected us to pay more. We refused to, because it was their major faux pas that landed us in a different place. They gave us keys that didn't lock our doors and we had to wait all day to buy essentials needed for the apartment. I had to call the movers, change the address to our utilities, and make sure all of my mail was directed to our new address in very short notice. There was a roach problem, broken blinds, disgusting shower fixtures, and what looks to be a leak over the shower. All of which were not fixed with the exception being pest control! They did address that issue quickly and effectively. Other than that, it's not the worst apartment complex. The floor plan is spacious, the central air conditioning works perfectly, it has a beautiful ceiling fan in the bedroom, a spacious walk-in closet, the refrigerator was clean and tidy and the patio is pretty. We are steps away from the pool, which makes the hot days bearable. If they were more diligent about maintenance issues, this place would be ideal. Oh and the littering problem on the property is terrible. They're very friendly at the rental office and I hope that whatever criticisms people post here will affect change when it comes to their properties. The photos do not paint an honest picture of what the property and apartment units actually look like. The chairs poolside and the barbecue grills are old and some actually looked a tad rusty. They're not the beautiful chairs and grounds seen in the photos on their website.
Terrible staff who lie or mislead to get you to sign, cops always in and out of the place, nowhere to park, always loud. Just a terrible place to live. DO NOT LIVE HERE
Basically was conned into the unit I'm living in. Have been here a month and management could no slower handle maintenance work. Moldy brown ice, half working stove, gross goop and hair clogging shower drain and bathroom sink, leaking kitchen sink with bugs. Someone's USED underwear covering a water valve. Extremely loud neighbors and stomping. DO NOT LIVE HERE.
New management is polite and take care of the residents, and quick to fix things if anything goes wrong , they have your back
