Our family has lived here for several years and we love Avondale. The office and maintenance staff do a great job in maintaining the apartments. The apartments are spacious with large balconies and closets. They have ground crews who work weekly on the property. It is a quiet neighborhood with many amenities including a dog park with a washing station for your fur babies.

I love the apartment and the facilities. The only complaint I have is the nose that large dogs create in the apartment above me. I think it would be beneficial to limit weight of dogs on upper floors.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The amenities are nice as well.
Overall it is good. I had a neighbor say that they could hear everything that lived below me that made me worry about every little sound I make.

This apartment community is a quiet, safe and beautiful place to live that is in close proximity to essential places. The management staff are professional and courteous- this has been a Awesome choice!
Overall it has been a great experience but there could be some updates done without jacking up the cost every month. Like new carpet or countertops or instead of carpet finish off the apartments with the existing wood floors. Do something!
I lived in the Avondale for almost 2 years. It was my first residence when I moved from Atlanta to Nashville for work. I was pressed for time and it was getting to be very difficult to find a place that was spacious, affordable, and pet friendly with no breed restrictions. A complex with no breed restrictions was important because I have German Shepherd. I found this complex online and made a day trip to visit the property. I was immediately impressed with how nice the area was and did not hesitate to sign my lease the same day. Living in my apartment was better than I expected it to be. It had plenty of space and I was in love with the walk-in laundry room (I didn't even have a walk-in laundry room in my house). If I were to say I had issues, it would just be that the walls were very thin, but that's to expected in any apartment or townhome situation. My neighbors weren't so noisy to the point that I needed to complain, but every now and again I could get someone's music or children crying. Other than after about 9pm, most of the noise ceased, which was great! So, all in all, I have loved living at the Avondale.

Loving this place. Apartment is spacious. I love that the windows are big and light fills the apartment. The surroundings are always very clean. Gym, club house and pool area are very nice and well kept. Loving it!!

I am really sure how to rate this. Everything here is great except there is constantly poop in the pool. When residents ask for it to be taken care of immediately for health concerns, we feel shrugged off. We were just told that it would be Monday before it could be taken care of. It's Saturday. We were really looking forward to swimming this summer. But this is just nasty and no one seems to care

Maintenance is great! The apartments are spacious but neighbors are loud and sometime inconsiderate of others into the night especially while college is in. Avondale needs a policy on disruptive behavior and loud noises after 9pm. You hear your upstairs neighbors like thunder and it's quite aggravating.

One of the dirtiest complexes I've ever seen. I went for the tour, and couldn't get out of there fast enough. So many better (and cleaner) options in the area. Don't waste your time looking at this dump.
Horrible. I just moved out after my lease was up. I now have a bill from them that is wanting me to pay over $1000 for apartment damage that was not my fault. I had brought the issue to maintenance, but apparently they don't recall the issue. And I was never told that I should have talked to the management instead of maintenance when the matter was not resolved the two times I spoke to maintenance about it. The management always made me feel uncomfortable and like I couldn't approach them. Even going in to get packages made me uncomfortable having to talk with them. Now the apartment is saying the damages are my fault and will not listen. They are unreasonable. I am so frustrated! Look elsewhere! I should have listened to the reviews when I was looking.

Pool is always dirty, the one gas grill has been broken the entire summer, hallways are dirty, parking lots are poorly lit and are unsafe at night, carpets are worn out, crew of 12 illeagal imigrants are living in 1 apartment, staff is incredibly rude and they just don't care. We will be breaking our lease soon!

Bed Bugs, Bed Bugs, Bed Bugs. Crooked bunch of liars. Dont any one ever move there. Up The rent A $100 ayear. I got Bed Bugs from there Then they try to blame it on me. I never had them in the 24 years i lived here, till i moved there.

I was referred to live here and quickly realized it was a mistake. There are hidden fees that drive the price way up and the pet fees are ridiculous. The unprofessionalism of the staff here is by far some of the worst I've experienced with the exception of the manager who you do not see often. I would consider other options as their price significantly varies from month to month when looking at possible lease options. There is one centralized trash option in entry of the complex but it usually has trash around it or is often times broken. Whenever I've had to get anything in the apartment fixed the men leave the apartment a mess. For instance, my faucet had to be replaced as it was cracked and they came in while I was sleeping since I didn't hear the knock at the door (no door bells here). I woke up to 3 men in my apartment and after they fixed the faucet they left with all this dirt and water everywhere. Took me 20 minutes to clean up their mess! Please reconsider if you're thinking about living here.

When I first moved in 4 yrs ago it was great, well kept grounds, attentive office staff and reasonable rates. Each year rent increases exponentially over the previous year. Management is slow to respond and the grounds are not as immaculate as previous years. No longer a good value for your money.
