The modern conveniences of fast-growing Clarksville are thoroughly complemented by its small-town vibe. Historical establishments nestle beside modern stores, blending the old with the new. A diverse population appreciates the ability to move away from the stress of big-city life while staying in tune with the modern world.
A strong connection to the outdoors makes Clarksville the perfect place to unwind after a long day at work, or after a full day of shopping at Governor’s Square Mall. Several state parks and the rolling waters of the Cumberland and Red Rivers afford residents and visitors the opportunity to experience nature’s calming effects. Stroll along the river banks or walk in the local parks and relax to the soothing sounds of nature’s bounty.
One hour north of Nashville, Clarksville provides its residents with convenient access to the metro’s city life and country music attractions.

Property Ratings at Avondale Park
We are now coming to the end of our 1 year lease where we tried to be good tenants paid on time and live peacefully with everyone but the place has been in disrepair since we have lived here with the toilet running , water leaking through the ceiling over the tub and now on the second set of very noisy upstairs neighbors when my husband works nights and has to sleep during the day. There is no security and people sit out side and yell from late at night to early morning and our toilet has not be flushable for over a week now after maintenance made it flood the bathroom and then said he had to wait on another part and the hole is still over the tub .Also neighbors had reported sing him go in and out of the upstairs apartment after hours with other people BEFORE the new tenant came in and they and we did smell and report marijuana The management here does nothing to help and says call 911 and then when you do they say you should be charged for misuse of 911. There are a few nice neighbors here but that is all I can say in favor of it at this time I am giving it a one star for that other than that it should actually be negative 5
This is a great place to live. The new owner E.J takes care of her tenants. The rent is reasonable along with the deposit. It's clean and has a refreshing pool. The neighborhood is quite .if anything goes wrong the owner makes sure to get it taken care of very quickly. Come and try the place out cause it's a great place to live
I was unfortunate to have to get a Divorce, and moving into an apartment was my only choice. My Son and I found a quaint complex that was gated~big plus~due to my circumstances. It's a quiet place with nice neighbors and they accept animals. The rent isn't bad either. We had a bad wake up call mid February due to a fire in one the apartments in our building. The land lady couldn't have been more kind. Within the week, we were all located into different buildings and moved in. I realized that we are all family around here and had LOTS of help from other tenants. It's so very nice to be able to live somewhere safe and know that people are looking out for each other. You see, I didn't think I could ever call another place "Home" as this was just a place to live for awhile. I have been here since 2010 and feel really good about where my Son and I live. I.....Call this "My Home"
We moved in October 2013 to a upstairs apartment, we were suppose to get a down stairs apartment but was not done when we had to move in. The dishwasher did not work, they did not clean the carpets or paint other than touch up painting. Every summer the air stops working just got it back up and a little cooler yesterday, We both are disabled and can no longer walk up and down the stairs and I have asked them to give me a handy cap decal on the drive way for our use. they lost one of there apartment complex this past winter it caught and burned the 8 apartments were lost, we have black mold in our toilet and I have told the office this and they told me to wash it with Bleach. Our contract is up this October and we are looking for something in our price range, and need a 2 bedroom my daughter also lives with us.
My little Place is on the 2nd floor, 2 bedroom, Living room, small kitchen 1 bathroom. It is nice but a little small for us, we have lived here 2 years this October. It is My daughter she is 18, My fiancé who is Disabled and myself which I am also Disabled, we have problems going up and down the stairs, nice and quiet woods to the side of us and another complex in front and too the other side also.
