Everything seemed okay when i first moved in. But slowly the place started to decline... Dog poop every where. Trash piled up. Staff isn't helpful, apartment shows signs of quick fixes to move people in... The best part are the residents.
Dont live here!!! Only care about your money and not about the residents!!!!
I have lived at Avonlea for about a year and a half, and I truly love it. This complex is quiet, safe, and very welcoming to people at different stages of life. I am especially impressed by the dedicated management staff and maintenance staff. They are very responsive, and they always follow up whenever residents have issues or questions. We have community events on a regular basis, and the amenities we pay for are well maintained. I especially enjoy using the 24-hour fitness center. Avonlea is a wonderful place to live in Woodstock!
I am 28 and have lived in a one bedroom here for 2 years with my fiance and our dog. The apartment is huge and pretty reasonably priced. The grounds are well-maintained and the complex has regularly scheduled community events. It's safe, beautiful, quiet and clean!

After 8 months we have decided not to renew our lease come this February if they increase our rent to the new prices they are charging people, here are some pros and cons. Pros: Great floor plan with lots of closets large laundry room in the apartment Great dark cabinets Move in Specials for Nurses Nice pool and gym Plenty of parking Nice leasing office staff Close to shopping and entertainment Quite neighborhood, except for our neighbors above and below us. Cons: Ceilings are thin, you can hear neighbors walking around and babies crying. Dirty neighbors that don't always pick up after their dogs. Dog park in complex is unusable because people don't pick up after their dogs. Can't grill on your porch Overall it is a safe place to live and is close to Kennesaw and Canton without dealing with all the parties from the local KSU campus. Neighbors keep to themselves and we've never had any problems with crime.
The apartments are lovely and the service is excellent. The staff are extremely sweet and always ready to help. They are always having some type of residential event for the enjoyment of the tenants. My only complaint would be that the utilities are tied to the rent and extremely high.
This area is getting larger by the second. In turn, real estate prices are on the rise. This apartment is mine and my wife's first home together. We absolutely love it. Comparatively to the options in the area, this is top notch. The prices are competitive with other local apartment complexes, but this is more than a complex. It's a community. People know each other by name...which is growing more rare by the day. There is never a shortage of activities. From movies nights, to pool parties, to bingo, this place is very family friendly. I would recommend to anyone looking in this area.
