Property Ratings at Axial Buckhead
Where do I even begin with my experience at Axial? It has been nothing short of a living nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my story to save others from making the same mistake I did by choosing to live here. From the very beginning, I should have known something was wrong when it took weeks to get any response from the management regarding my lease agreement. But that was just the tip of the iceberg. Maintenance Neglect: The management's response time to maintenance requests was laughable, if they even bothered to respond at all. I had to deal with persistent issues in my apartment, including plumbing problems, electrical faults, and an HVAC system that seemed to be stuck in the Stone Age. It was like pulling teeth to get them to address these issues, and when they finally did, it was a half-hearted attempt that often left me with even more problems than before. Unsanitary Conditions: The cleanliness of the complex was appalling. Garbage bins frequently overflowed, attracting pests, and common areas were perpetually dirty. The hallways were dimly lit, making it feel like a breeding ground for unsavory characters. Noise and Security: The noise levels here are unbearable, with residents blaring music and engaging in rowdy behavior at all hours. Security was virtually nonexistent, leaving residents feeling unsafe in their own homes. Questionable Charges: Be prepared to be nickel-and-dimed at every turn. They found every excuse to charge me extra fees, some of which were downright ridiculous. It's almost as if they're trying to squeeze every last penny out of their residents. Lack of Accountability: What's most frustrating is the complete lack of accountability from the management. They seem to have mastered the art of deflecting blame and evading responsibility for the numerous issues plaguing the complex. In the end, I had to cut my losses and move out of this nightmare of a place. I wouldn't wish the experience I had at Axial on my worst enemy. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place. There are far better options out there where you won't have to endure the countless headaches and frustrations I faced during my time here. Save your sanity and your hard-earned money. I hope this review helps prospective renters make an informed decision. Good luck finding a better place to call home.

I’ve only lived here a few months but it’s been a great experience thus far. Gabby made the leasing process seamless despite everything going on with COVID. She communicated with me daily with any new updates and was so easy to talk to. When I moved in there was some miscommunication about a few things but the property manager Brooke fixed them quickly....like within 24-48 hours. The community is quiet and friendly not to mention I’m walking to distance to chipotle :) I’m very happy hear and I’m glad I didn’t go off passed experiences that happened before they acquired new management.
The leasing agents are the best and maintenance is very timely. Warning that it can get loud if you live in the front due to all the traffic
I lived here for 4 years, in 3 different apartments. The property was nice. This would be a 5 star review, but the new ownership, Venterra Realty, doesn't seems to be making strong decisions on customer loyalty. Instead of getting my deposit back, I'm being charged for "damages" to the nasty, brittle, falling-apart pair of blinds that were installed in my apartment. Ironically, I offered to pay to have them replaced less than a year ago so I could enjoy nicer blinds. Management couldn't get it together then, but it's annoying that I'm being charged on the way out. Have a 1 star review.
I lived at Axial Buckhead for two years and have nothing but good things to say. I lived on the property when it was Cambridge at Buckhead and when Venterra took over, the positive changes were obvious. The office associates all work very hard and are very accommodating - I could always get someone on the phone to discuss a bill or a maintenance request and everything was always handled promptly. The staff are very personable and I liked that they remembered who I was and always made sure to say hello and chat if I saw them. As for the unit, I had a two bedroom and there was so much space! It was also very affordable, especially for how central it is in Buckhead. Hands down, would recommend this property. Also, shout out to Gabby for being the best - she works so hard and is just the nicest!
Stay away from this place!!! This has to be the most expensive water bill not just in Atlanta but in all USA. Over $160 a month every month! Outrageous, unacceptable, total rip-off. No exaggeration, my car lease is cheaper. Can't wait to get out of here! Location is good if you don't have a car, and if you do, get ready to waist at least 10 minutes just to go pass the light in front of the gated entrance, which by the way is always broken. And in the summer, big gigantic cockroaches everywhere in and out of the apartments! Yuck!!! Bottom line, rent this place only if you like to get ripped-off with outrageous water bills, get stuck in traffic right in front of the complex and love to share your apartment with enormous cockroaches!

The Cambridge at Buckhead is in a great location but that is one of the few positives. The apartments are old and out-dated with a lot of maintenance issues. They are not worth the price of rent for what they are (only thing going for them is location). Security is horrible and there is only one exit/entrance from the property. After seeing friend's apartments in the same area that are paying the same or just slightly more, I am very disappointed in the decision I made to go with the Cambridge. There are far nicer, safer, and more updated communities in the area that meet this price range. Don't waste your time, the website makes the apartments appear much better than the reality.

Dear Valued Resident, Thank you for expressing your concerns. Cambridge at Buckhead was recently purchased by Fairfield Residential and is under an extensive unit and exterior renovation. We are also doing property wide preventative maintenance on the HVAC systems. Fairfield understands that the apartments need upgrading and plan on making Cambridge just as modern as the neighboring establishments. We will install granite countertops, clean slate appliances and much more. In addition we will be pressure washing, repairing wood and painting all buildings and breezeways. We have already completed 4 buildings. Cambridge encourages all residents in non-renovated units to transfer to a renovated unit. All transfer fees will be waived. We have also lowered the monthly rates on the renovated units, so that residents will have an easier transition. Quite a few of your neighbors have already taken advantage of this option. Please contact the leasing office if you are interested in transferring into a renovated unit. Cambridge at Buckhead is located in the heart of Buckhead. We are in the city but tucked away in the neighborhood. We are a gated community and have a courtesy officer that works for City of Atlanta and lives on site. Just moved in about a month ago, so far no major issues. The good - Awesome location. Walking distance to grocery store, MARTA, great food. Great grill area. Very spacious place. The OK - The buildings we're built a while ago, and thats clear, but are not by any means in bad shape. Its a little hot, but thats to be expected in the summer.
