It’s full of bugs everywhere, we have been here for five mouths now and I can’t wait to be done with this place, the trash system works, there are bugs on the hallway and inside the apartment constantly, I really do not recommend this place to anyone !
Bring the vultures back to keep the rat population down -- I'm being serious. I've reported the rat and water bug issue but I can't anything the management staff is doing. I've called corporate and they haven't responded. It's simple, get pest control out here and have the trash dumped often.
I love this apartment mainly because of its location. It's close to legacy central and you can take the freeway to get to Frisco or Dallas. There is Market Street, Costco, Petco nearby for all your needs. The staff are responsive as well. Just wish there less people smoking around the apartment but that can't be helped.

Still one of the best place to live in North Texas. Wouldn't trade it for anywhere else barring a significant decline in service.

I've lived here since March 2022 & my experiences with maintenance/front office has been heavenly thus far! Any maintenance requests handled within 2-days tops! Updates & reminders are constantly sent out keeping the tenants aware of what's going on. This is an amazing place to live ... should that change I will update accordingly. I am glad that I chose this place to call home & happy to be living here!

The staff is amazing and the facility is super clean!
Horrible absolutely horrible. Loud tenants, dogs barking down the hallway early mornings, tenants on other tenants doors (nosey), hallway smells and carpet unclear, vandalism on property and property managers not use cameras to properly assist the victims, tenants playing with the elevators, side gates/doors are being left opened, and damaged. Feeling safe in a community means alot. If you get the chance to live at a Cortland property you will understand.
This has been a great property to live at. The staff and other tenants are nice and I do feel safe here as well.
So far our experience in living at Cortland has been awesome , recommend that one should try living in this community and enjoy the experience.
This Apartment complex is one best so far I have come across. Very professional office staff, exceptional maintenance crew, very good Jim facility and very convenient car parking and above all the best location. Overall we enjoyed the stay in this place.

The Management is really supportive, understanding and act patiently. They respond as soon as possible with the appropriate information. They help in keeping this a safe, clean community.
I hate it, ready to move out and never look back. Definitely not worth the cost at all. I've lived in different apartments in 8 years, this is my worst experience so far. I'm paying for high end luxury (brand new unit) but I'm getting cheap motel in Downtown Dallas vibes.

We moved in without seeing the place in person because we were out of state. This apartment complex exceeded our expectations. We were wowed and we love living here! Close to everything, has wonderful amenities, and a great walking path behind it.
Cortland Watters creek is one of the best apartment in Allen TX, apartment from being located in a great locality, its landscaping, design, closed breezeways and the parking are great. The apartment I have rented itself is spacious, has great lighting and oversees S Watters Rd and Mc Dermott. The apartment is maintained well and service requests are resolved in 24hrs, the emergency number to raise service requests is a great advantage. A huge shoutout to the office team and maintenance team Nicole, Natalie, Hayley and Moe and Juan. If you have not lived at Cortland Watters Creek then you have not experienced great living facilities in Allen, TX.
Fire alarm keeps being actived for no emergencies at midnight, the community claims it has been fixed, but its not! This situation last for two months! We need to work and we need sleep!

The walls are really thin so you will always hear your neighbors music or them talking. Also if you have a dog please be aware that a lot of residents like to keep their dog off leash in the back. So there is a high chance of a dog attack happening. The management sends emails regularly as a warning but no action is ever taken.
So beautiful inside and out, cortland has raised the bar with all their properties and apartment living experiences. As a delivery driver I visit many apartments and its clear to me that every cortland property has the highest standard of leasing office staff. Right off the bat, all my experiences with a leasing office representative have been nothing short of pleasant and professional. Its a night and day difference when compared to my business related or personal interactions at other non cortland properties. And its not just pleasant while applying and being approved for move-in. The staff are proactively involved in the resident experience and it shows that they take pride in being the best.
Cartland Watters Creek is a great place to live. The staff are professional, friendly and attentive to my needs. The property is also well maintained and the location provides easy access to everything that I need.

I have lived here for 6 months. The management and maintenance staff is always great. They respond to all requests, emails and phone calls quick and professionally. Definitely can see me living here for a long time. The only downfall is the parking garage and the entry and exit access. I love that it's always working and hard for someone to get in or damage. it's just the traffic flow that gets a little congested. Just need to have a little patience.
I honestly love the community, and all staff. Theyre all amazing and very patient. I would highly recommend this location as a new potential home

I moved into the apartment before Cortland bought it. Now the company is scheming to find ways to get more money out of their residents. Last year they started a trash collection service that was free until the end of your lease. When you renew your lease you have to $25.00 a month on top of a $10 trash fee. You do not get the option to opt out of this service. Recently the apartment just started to charge monthly for reserved parking. They don’t enforce the illegally parked cars and now are making it harder to park your car. The apartment has a lot of nerve to do this during a pandemic when parking is already tight. In the past apartments would give me an incentive to renew my lease. This apartment will not do that. It’s a good short term rental,but in Texas there are better managed apartments that are a better value without the hidden fees.
Cortland Watters Creek was the only apartment complex I visited when trying to find a new place. Natalie called me after hours to set up a viewing appointment. That was key to me since I work and could not discuss during business hours. The community is friendly and clean!

CORTLAND Watters Creek is a great place to live. It is conveniently located near shopping and commonly used services like restaurants, banks, filling stations and large box stores like Costco, Lowes, Home Depot, etc. Management and service team are responsive professionals.

Cortland Watters Creek is located in a convenient location-near shopping areas, gas pumps etc. The grounds are beautifully kept, quite pleasant. You'll be sure to have an enjoyable stay.
Staff are friendly and accommodating. The unit was perfect and as advertised. Any issues raised are taken care of in a timely manner. An overall great place to live.
It is a very nice and fairly new community. The staff is very welcoming and takes care of resident needs by providing excellent customer service. They offer great amenities as well and the apartments are pretty nice, like the gray and white color scheme.
Super awesome front desk team! They are very helpful and always keep residents in the loop. The maintenance team has always completed my requests same day if not same hour. The property is beautiful and well kept. The apartments are very very nice on the inside as well. Quiet neighbors, nice facilities, and great parking!
Vera Watters has been nothing short of amazing since I moved in. The community is welcoming the apartment homes are gorgeous and even though there was a slight hiccup on my lease terms, it had been reviewed and updated in the same day! The staff is amazing and Im so glad I decided to move here! I doubt Ill ever leave unless its to move in my dream house. Kuddos to the staff! Keep it up!

Would recommend Vera to a family member! Before I get into this review, I'd like to say this is affordable "luxury" living surrounded with great amenities. I chose the apartment for many reasons: safety, location, and distance to the highway. Vera has gone above and beyond! Covered/locked garage and indoor hallways leading to your apartment makes me feel comfortable and safe. Great location down the road from the Watters Creek shops, grocery stores, restaurants and Starbucks is conveniently on the way to the highway for a quick pit stop on your way to work. Quick distance to the highway makes traveling effortless. Not only did they check my boxes, they have great amenities including, but not limited to, business office, movie theater, pool, gas grills, and a two-story gym where they offer free yoga classes on Saturday mornings. I can keep going but the cherry on top is the staff, very welcoming and helpful. Nicole was pleasantly persistent is helping me find my new "home" in Allen, would recommend her to the president! 20/10 recommend.

There is no perfect apartment in the world but you would get a nice home here and with supportive teams. The interior furnish and own garage are great, I appreciated as one of the residents here.
