Apartment is really nice. Community has lots of events that they offer. Location is nice too. They send emails for fun events around the area for the weekends. Building events are posted in the elevators and also sent out through email.
So far I love the community it is very clean, very peaceful overall there is very good energy in this building. I’m happy to be living at the Axis!
The community is beautiful, the staff is exceptional & the residents are pleased with where they live. Before making my decision on living here I asked a few residents about their experience and thoughts of the community. There were no grievances.

This is one of the best, very well-maintained and well-managed properties in DTLA. South Park neighborhood is safer and cleaner compared to other DTLA area. Wish the management could do something about the noise level. Trash chute is making constant noise which can be heard inside the unit and paper thin windows don't stop much noise coming from the outside.

Location, property & amenities are nice, but Axis doors start to penny pinch with nonsense fees that they like to add for no reason Pay for parking…but also have to register your vehicle with this service that cost Monthly fee for having the Amazon lockers…

So far so good! Only reason I decide to take a star off is because the floor is really dirty when I moved in. Wish the floor was cleaned and mopped.

There is an overall feeling of living in a high end apartment. The neighborhood is really nice. The view is amazing, all of the fixtures are new. I love it.

very nice place. The building is also very nice, they just paint the new color for wall. Even will move to another city, still love this apartment.

The trash chute doesn't work over half the times for whatever reason and there is always trash left around the area. Super disgusting . Other than that, awesome community.

Location is probably one of the best in DTLA as South Park is considered safer than rest of the area in DTLA. Staff are generally nice although it vary by individual. Management & maintenance team usually do a good job in keeping common areas clean, but parking lots and staircases are exceptions :( My biggest complaint is the noise level as the windows are paper thin and trash chute also makes constant mechanic noise. Still pretty decent overall, and Axis could be the best choice for people who wants to live in safer side of DTLA and avoid high rise building for any reason.
Love the people at the front desk always keeping me safe by making sure my guest are actually here for me invited only !! , in love with my unit and the experience that comes with it !
All around great building and community. Great amenities. Water seems one of the only issues, being lukewarm or cold at times for the shower. And recycling seems to fill quickly. Once full seems the only option for garbage shute is non recylable.

PLEASE BE AWARE This is not a smoke-free apartment. When somebody smokes in a bathroom and the cigarette smoke comes through a vent and penetrates my whole unit, the management does not do anything. It's been a month now since I reported the first incident and nothing has been addressed/fixed.
I lived in Axis for a year but moved closer to work. I loved my experience there. It’s right outside downtown so it’s quiet, but close enough to walk to the bars at night. The maintenance manager, Carlos, is super friendly and will help check on any concerns. Security is great. Always made sure we’re safe and were very friendly. Specially Porsche! Place is very clean and modern. Well maintained.

Updated: 05/03/2023 Carlos, Joaquin, and Anthony are incredible and did a fantastic job today! They fixed the towel rack and shower rack in record time. Within the last 30 days they’ve fixed the oven and assisted with every maintenance request that I’ve put in. I really appreciate their assistance. Within 24hrs they were able to get everything done. Terrell has made this a smooth transition. Out of the five plus apartments we visited, the Axis apartments were the most clean with the most intuitive floor plans. Other apartments showed us units that were still dirty, even after cleaning, but you can immediately tell a difference when you visit an Axis unit. I’m very excited to move in and I feel that I will stay here as long as I can. Big windows, flooring and cabinets that match, big closets, wide bathrooms, open layouts, lots of sunshine - if you are looking for a top notch apartment I’d recommend the Axis highly. And again, Terrell has been professional, kind, and prompt - best leasing consultant we worked with thus far, thank you!!

Axis is by far the best apartment community I’ve ever lived in. The staff is beyond incredible, which truly makes it breaks a living experience at an apartment complex in my opinion. The community is kind and engaging. I feel safe in every part of the building. And on top of all of that the building is clean, with beautiful amenities, a killer pet policy, and in a great location. 10/10 would recommend to all my friends who I would like to have as neighbors!

Axis is a rare gem to find in the DTLA jungle. Close to the edge of the city means that you can get out of the area as quickly as you can get in. Also, having two buildings amenities to play with you find combined everything you need to truly enjoy at home luxury living. Pool, gym, club room, rooftop jacuzzi, outdoor grills and lots of great staff and neighbors for fun resident events and prompt service to boot!

I've lived at Axis for one year. It is a surprisingly peaceful corner of DTLA. Friendly staff, great floor plan layouts with modern finishes. Awesome views of downtown if you get a unit on the the eastern edge.

Axis had one of the easiest application processes I have experienced. Also, Terelle from the leasing office was very good and following up with us and answering any questions. He was very patient and worked with our schedule to finalize the process. Made it very convenient for us . Thank you Terelle . Also , Axis staff is very vigilant . They ask everyone questions and the greet everyone . This makes me feel secure and that it matters to them who’s entering the building. In the last 12 years I have moved across the state 4 times. I’ve experienced the application and move in process in numerous different cities and counties. Of all the communities I’ve lived in, Axis is far and away the very best there has been. So far, my experience here at Axis has been great. My wife and I are settling in well. The community amenities are good, and I have been using the gym a few days a week, which is always clean. I only wish that a recycling trash shoot was inside the building instead of having to go into the garage. Otherwise, I love my unit and am happy to be back in my old neighborhood.

Axis is a hidden gem. I found this apartment, and it has everything I need in unit for a reasonable price. Staff is friendly and accommodating, units are renovated and contemporary, and neighborhood is quiet compared to the typical dtla areas.

This is a clean community but the floor and wall or door is too thin so I can hear all the sounds coming from outside.
