Lots of space in our apartment 1000 square feet and it’s not far from the pool and we have a fireplace plus washer/dryer in our unit-very convenient thanks to Misty for all her help!
The apartments have new appliances but are cheaply made & everything breaks. Maintenance requests are continuously overlooked unless you hassle the leasing office. Online rent payment system barely works, so good luck paying rent on time & not paying a late charge of $75. Gated community? I guess when the gates decide to work, sure. This place is overpriced, cheaply put together & the property teams lack of communication is pathetic. Think twice before renting here…
Communication from the property management/leasing office is non-existent & they’re unorganized. Apartments look nice but are cheaply put together. Maintenance requests are ignored. Parking is very limited. It’s overpriced! The issues go on and on. I’d think twice before moving into this complex.
The leasing office is terrible. The unit we received was not finished all the way and we weren't notified that until the day of move in. We didn't have a mail key for months and still don't have doors for our hallway cabinet. These apartments barely have any maintenance workers and the ones they do have is temporary so they can barely do anything. They are terribly managed and I would double think about being here.
Parking is already hard to find as it is but management likes to make it harder by placing 2 gigantic trash containers on the property, blocking at least 7-10 parking spots for over 2 months. The front gate has been broken giving homeless/random people access to come onto the property in the middle of the day/night. My roommate caught a homeless person at 3am looking into our apartment and going through our things. Email with concerns was sent to the office, with no response. To top it off, my car was towed this morning. I was parked in a spot I was allowed to park but my car was towed due to remodeling. Apparently all residents were notified but the notes were left at the door on a windy day. Not handed directly to the residents, just left at the door. More than half the cars were towed, so much that the tow company even questioned how the property management notified us all. My roommates and I had to renew the lease as we were unable to find a place before the contract ended but I would not recommend this complex.

loud noisy neighbors and cars playing loud music all hours, unable to drop rent in mail slot they push online which has a fee, have to pay for water and trash on top of rent and having renters insurance......never any open parking for visitors........
The complex has a nice feel with the pine trees, birch trees, and pathways. The grass is patchy, which would be understandable seeing as we're in a drought. However, management runs the sprinklers every night, despite putting signs everywhere telling us to conserve water. Half of the sprinklers are off alignment, leading to them just watering the sidewalk. There's two pools, one regular pool and a smaller one. Spa. Management was very fast to get us in ASAP, and even though we were first time renters they still accepted us. We also got a very good deal on the rent, especially for the Antelope area. The unit has a lot more space than others we looked at, and the second floor has vaulted ceilings. However, things like cabinets, the stove, the sink and dishwasher are all out-dated and not the best quality. I often find sawdust in our pots and pans, the dishwasher doesn't seem to actually clean any of our dishes, and the stove was broken when we moved in. We had to wait a week for them to come by and fix the burners, and as time went on the handle of the oven came off, and it's overall very old and ugly. It looks like it came from the 60's. There is also not a lot of food storage space because there's no pantry. The bathrooms are decent, with a larger showerhead than most places I see. Washer Dryer in unit, very convenient and makes the bathroom feel much larger. You just have to wait if you want to shower while someone is doing laundry. The walls are pretty soundproof, or maybe I don't have any noisy neighbors. I don't ever hear anyone through the walls or floor, but when the window is open things echo down the building aisles. You pay all of the bills, including water sewer garbage, gas, electric. Water is averaged out with the entire building, so even if you did save water, it wouldn't change your bill all that much. The place is about 15 minutes away from 80, depending on traffic and which way you go. There's McD's, Taco Bell, Panda and Togos nearby, Winco and Bel Air and Wal Mart. It's a pretty good location. Overall, the apartment is decent but I would like to move to a higher quality place once my lease is up.
Ive been here over a year. The overall apperance is ok, kept mostly clean, the pool area is usually pretty good, but there have been many instances that are less than exceptable, persons that use the pool are at fault, not complex. I have spoken to office about it. The pools are kept clean and have pool service once a week, except the pool guy doesnt do a very good job. The grounds are kept clean as possible, but again some of the tenants are just not considerate like picking up after there pets. I think they should have area just for the dogs instead of all over the complex, i dont let my grandkids play on lawn when the visit because of the situation. This is older community and there are things that need to be replaced and service. They are repairing driveways that are damaged but only making dent into large problem. This is gated community, but there are many non residents that come thru complex, that is mostly due to area, there is carry over incidents from the north highlands area that bring the area down. The management is slow to respond to service calls, but that is mostly lack of communication, i think they need a better ..to do list... system. For the area its in is suitable for most there are few parks in area that are nice. The shopping centers are less than desirable for my taste, but will work for most people. The nightlife is dead and you really dont want to hand out at starbucks or cafe. Overall i couldnt give it more than 3 stars, i thought abt 2 stars, but thought 3 was average.
People are friendly and quit for the most part, parking could be better.In walking distance of park and pet friendly.
