A quiet community nestled in North Charleston, Goose Creek sits about 18 miles north of the heart of Charleston. Charleston Southern University sits just outside of Goose Creek, making it a great place to find a rental for both students and faculty. Property Ratings at Azure Carnes Crossroads
Staff has one maintenance guy for the entire complex since I moved in.On top of that they do not show up to fix anything that needs to be fixed unless you go up to management yourself about 3 times to remind them and then it takes them 2 to 3 weeks to even show up to your apartment. Place is infested w bugs also had to get that out the way. The apartments look decent inside that’s the only good thing but they are infested. For the money that you’re going to pay it is not worth it . Oh yeah and what that people are saying about the fire alarms are very true . It’s about five times a month that dumb fire alarm is going off and it stays on for a very long time. Place looks nice from the outside but inside is disgustingly infested smh . I moved out within 3 months couldn’t take the poor management and infestation.
So far I am loving the community. The girls in the office are great and always helpful.

Ever since the staffing changed after I moved in, everything has been excellent. Problems are resolved in a timely manner and the transparency is extremely appreciated. I’m happy here!
I feel this complex is worth the cost. I have lived in other complexes and good customer service, maintenance, and neighbors are hard to find. The company ensures the exterior is presentable as well as the interior of the apartment. The elevators are a plus due to me having an elderly mother. I love it here!
I have lived here at Azure Carnes Crossroads for just under 1 year now. The apartment itself is nice. It is roomy, has nice finishes, and is comfortably up to date. That’s where the good news ends. I have tried to give the lackluster office staff and manage the benefit of the doubt, but unfortunately they just do not care about their renters. They are lazy. They hardly ever step foot out of the office. They lie. They do not follow up on ongoing issues. They have an excuse or an ‘I don’t know’ answer for everything. Things seem to get worst with time. The lawn care has taken a huge step backwards in the time I’ve been here. There are dead trees all over the place which they have yet to remove. Dog waste is everywhere. They do not pick up trash. The trash rooms stink so bad and the floors outside the rooms and stained and filthy. The breezeways are not cleaned. The paint on the exterior of the apartment doors are peeling. You get charged monthly for pest control, but they only spray quarterly. The pool is closed more often then it should. It has been closed for a week now and they are telling us it’s because of a hole in the concrete…yet the water has not been drained and I have seen no one out there performing any work on it. Maintenance is an issue. It’s seems to take them forever to show up, then they tell you they need to come back and do not show up. I have had issues since I moved in that are still no resolved. I have talked with other renters that have ongoing issues with plumbing, appliances, etc, that they can’t seem to get fixed. The fire department has been called out to my particular building at least 9 times in less then a year. Most of the time it’s because of an overheating trash compactor that starts smoking and sets the alarms off. The management has yet to address this fire hazard and even after all the times the fire department has been here claim that they have never been made aware of this issue. I find that very hard to believe. Since I made them aware of it over 2 months ago, nothing has been done. In fact just today the fire alarms have went off twice. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Azure. The corporate office doesn’t seem to want to be bothered and there on site staff is a joke. They claim to be ‘luxury apartments’ but with the complete and utter lack of a professional staff and manager it’s a true example of false advertising
The moving process with Azure was great, they worked with my timeline so that I was all moved in when I needed to be... Great staff and Great property...
Great place to live, excellent location, fantastic amenities and outstanding staff.
While they made claim luxury living, you will be far from it here. The provided grills are chained up and not available for use, the trash room‘s regularly overflow, and the ground is littered with dog poop. Additionally, the elevator alarm has been going off for three weeks and I can hear it in my apartment. The apartment itself is nice, but the building has settled since construction and now the doors aren’t lined up with the locks and you struggle to lock them. Oh and the neighbors in my apartment unit are smoking marijuana outside in the halls. The worst part perhaps, management is completely dismissive and not responsive of any concern.
This place claims to be luxury living and sure the apartments are new, but beyond that this place is not luxury. Most of the issues stem from management not addressing things. There is garbage overflowing, dog poop not picked up, the elevator alarm has been going off for weeks with no resolution, the pump station alarm will go off at random times for hours, people smoking marijuana in the hallways, the community grills haven't been working for months, weird stuff growing in the pools. I can go on if you would like. Don't let the newness of these apartments fool you.
Would not recommend this community to anyone. Staff is not knowledgeable of any of the crimes issues in the area which makes a stressful living situation.
I have lived in Azure Carnes Crossroads for 6 months now. I love our apartment. It is spacious, has plenty of storage space, and I really enjoy having a screened in porch. The best part is our pets are welcomed here! The compound has extra storage units available to rent in each building so that is convenient. There are also parking garages. The management has been through several changes. The current management is very responsive to our requests and/or questions. They have started bringing in weekly food trucks which is nice. Maintenance requests are answered promptly. The location is great with easy access to many shopping areas in both Summerville and Goose Creek. New valet service for garbage and fetch service for packages. Can’t wait for summer so I can spend some time at the pool!

The office staff are easy to work with. The property it well kept. The apartment is awesome, my wife and I were spoiled when we came here. If anyone is looking for a great place to live check out Azure.

Its not what it seems , had problems with AC going out , trash shoot is always a mess , apartment seems like it was built in a rush , we had loose handles , cabinets built incorrectly, and also if you have more than one person in the household there is only enough hot water to shower for one before it gets cold , outside grills are infested with ants , and outlets work when they decide they want to work , communication from the management team was horrible , you could never get an update unless YOU reach back out
Nothing good to say other than the apartment itself is nice that's about it.terrible management
