Property Ratings at Azure Apartments
I love everything that comes within the apartments. Staff and maintenance handles request and and any other problems that comes up.
The front office staff & management DOES NOT have your best interest in mind, and it's no surprise they're constantly cycling through new people. When you encounter an issue and bring it to their attention, it's as if they've mastered the art of doing nothing while pretending to be helpful. These are not luxury apartments, the walls were thin and on a daily basis we had issues with the neighbor upstairs stomping their feet which would make it tough to sleep or concentrate. You can expect dirty hallways year round. Dirty hot tubs, yellow pool water, and overflowing trash bins areas that smell like people regularly pee on the ground next to them. If you own a dog, don’t expect the other residences to pickup their dog poop in the common areas. Azure doesn’t hold anyone accountable. On a regular basis my partner and I would step in someone else’s dog poop. This was the first place I have lived were I felt that safety was definitely a concern. On multiple occasions I left my apartment only to find multiple cop cars outside the building, dealing with a dangerous situation that the residents are never notified of. While I lived there there was a masked man on a bike who would follow/watch me late at night as I was just trying to take my dogs out. My partner woke up one morning to bloody footprints strewn down the hallway and up the stairs of our building (I cannot make this up). The maintenance staff were hard at work at 7am cleaning up the footprints, and when we asked management what happened they never responded to our email. It was terrifying. THE MOVE OUT PROCEDURE IS SHADY. On the move out paperwork there is a box they ask you to check where you can “waive your right” to a move out inspection and an itemized list of move out charges. IF YOU CHECK THIS BOX YOU ARE AGREEING TO A $600 FLAT FEE (Regardless if you left the place spotless). We have copies of the move out paperwork where it shows they just charge a flat fee for cleaning/painting/etc regardless of the condition of your unit when you leave. If your deposit is $500, you can expect to owe them money after you move out. They will send you to collections without notice. It is unfair for this business to try and cover up these issues by asking their tenants in the office to leave surface-level “positive” reviews. The management of this business does not take accountability and unfortunately it seriously hurts the renters who are expressing their concerns but are ignored.
Azure has been all my husband and I have needed after we moved from out of state for military service. The staff have been so welcoming and helpful, and the apartment is beautiful! Have no complaints about the community here, and we love the easy access to stores and restaurants because of the location of Azure.

Overall unpleasant experience, storage and vehicle were broken into twice. No kind of security, cameras, patrol, etc. Lots of illegal trash dumping, multiple people packed in several units. For the price of rent you would expect a better quality of community.

I am always 100% satisfied with the work that is completed by maintenance, it is an added bonus that he communicates what he will be doing and then explains what needs to be fixed, he's always very professional courteous and always in good spirits, the azure team has always demonstrated that they truly care about their residents.

The apartment is beautiful but the facilities and management are much less so. People speed through the parking lot and Ive almost been hit several times. Gunshots have woken me up on several occasions, along with car horns and car alarms at 4 am. Multiple noise and pest complaints have been made and management doesnt care.

Some of the amenities are really neat such as the dog parks and the pool. The layout of the apartments are nice, the bathrooms are a great size and I really like the in unit washer and dryer. However, there are so many disrespectful residents that end up outweighing the positives of living here. Many residents have made the outdoor areas quite filthy, parking illegally every single day, and honking at all hours of the night. Management does what they can, but it has no longer been a positive experience living here.

I love everything about Azure, my apartment was brand new when I moved in, its right next to Costco, and a lot of fast food places like Chick-fil-A. Besides amazing convenient location, the amenities are great and the property is beautiful and well kept.

I've lived at azure for about six months and I really enjoy living here. Moved in to a brand new apartment and everything about it is great! Their amenities are awesome and really enjoy using them. I love their gym! Parking is not great but just like a-lot of places in town is hard to find parking. I recommend this place to anyone that is in search of a new apartment complex.

Great place for small families with the park and many other amenities, the apartments themselves are really nice and well designed, only gripe I have is deep cabinets give you lots of storage but make it harder to get stuff in back and pantry is way too high up

If you are attracted by the “non-smoking community” beware, it is not enforced & tenants still smoke. Management sends out emails but no action taken to enforce agreements on the lease.

I am absolutely overjoyed living here at Azure. The grounds are kept very nice and clean, despite many people having dogs, everyone respects each other. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Maintenance is attentive and responsive. I could not be happier!

Azure has been great from the start. Brand new apartment complex with great amenities like a playground, basketball/soccer court, dog park, and bbqs. It’s quiet and the staff is very professional. We love living here and would 10/10 recommend.

I just moved to the Azure Apartment Home. Its a fantastic place to live with a great on site team. Its a beautiful scenery just walking distance to several newly developed shopping centers. Its the nicest place to live in the city of Santa Maria.

We choose to live here based on the internet and pictures. When we came here from Chicago, our jaws dropped to the ground. The Bedrooms are tiny, you cant fit a king size bed in the master only a queen, and the second room is even smaller. That could fit a queen bed but nothing else. No furniture. The appliances are cheap, the dishwasher thats brand new is terrible, all the door knobs are all loose, its are to lock all the doors, which I asked to be fix and was not, the only thing nice about the apartment is the cabinets and countertops. If I had an another option I would have lived somewhere else.
