Downtown Greensboro is at once charming and historic and hip and trendy. Its historic architecture lining wide sidewalks offers a wide variety of shops, restaurants, art studios, and theaters; its position just a few blocks east of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Greensboro College adds a youthful energy to the neighborhood. Residents and visitors can take a gourmet food tour or a history and haunts tour. They can explore the Blandwood Mansion or the Greensboro History Museum. They can catch a performance at the Carolina Theatre or the Community Theatre of Greensboro.
For a touch of the unique, Downtown Greensboro offers a variety of public art and murals. You may notice an abundance of coffee cup sculptures -- these were created to celebrate the sit-in movement of the 1960s. The eight bronze sculptures are located throughout the downtown area, and a self-guided walking tour takes visitors to all of them.

Property Ratings at Bailey Village (Not Student Housing)
I recently had to terminate my lease early due to a job relocation. The office staff handled this well and I appreciate them so much. The office staff knows you by name and are always so friendly. Maintenance is always on top of everything if anything ever happens. 10/10 definitely recommend and wish I didn’t have to leave!
Bailey Village is a wonderful and safe place to live. Property is always clean and maintained. Everyone who works here is so friendly.
Just hit two years and loved every minute! The application process is maybe more selective than other places, but it leads to a quiet, respectful, and beautiful community. The office staff is fantastic and the residents are friendly! Mr. Wiggins and Ms. C respond to every need with urgency and kindness. My only request is a pool!
I have lived in Bailey Village for a year and it is wonderful place to call home. The apartments are new & beautifully designed. The staff are always friendly & welcoming, and the surroundings are always well maintained. The gates & security measures in place provide peace of mind.
Lived in a 3 bedroom. Great place for children. Lovely staff and secure place within downtown.
One of the newest "modern" Luxury Apartments in the surrounding area! Property Management is professional, customer service oriented, and cares for its residents. Also, the Maintenance Team, does an awesome job responding to work request in a timely and courteous fashion. Luxury Apartments without the high price tag. I'd thoroughly recommend Bailey Village!
The staff are awesome and super supportive. I love living here and always recommend my colleagues or friends to move here. It's a clean, well-maintained and reasonable price. Staff are very responsive, and respectful. It is very convenient to the different parts of the city including the downtown area and universities.
Property manager is obnoxious! But the 2 ladies in the office I can deal with. Overall great place to live!
Clean, spacious, luxury living minutes away from downtown!!! Staff was attentive, communicative, and always went the extra mile. Gated community which is also plus and made me feel safe. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here!
I just recently moved out of these apartments and got a house due to our growing family. I must say, I highly recommend everyone to check out Bailey Village Luxury Apartments. The management and maintenance staff are respectful, kind, and always prioritize fixing any of your issues or concerns. I loved the layout of the place, and never had a problem with any of the tenants.
Overall, I had a really positive experience with the leasing team at Bailey Village apartments. They were friendly, professional, and helpful, and they made the entire process very easy for me. I would definitely recommend Bailey Village to anyone looking for a new apartment.

They kept me informed about the status of my application and were quick to answer any questions that I had. They made sure that I had all the necessary information and documents to complete the application process smoothly. The approval process was quick, The apartment was in great condition, and I was very happy with the amenities and location. Overall, I had a great experience with the Bailey Village leasing team, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new apartment. Their professionalism and attention to detail made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. I'm looking forward to living at Bailey Village for a long time!
The Property team is so professional and very kind! You are treated like family here and I have no complaints. Plus the apartment has many windows for natural lighting. Everything is up to date and is well built. The apartment plus the amazing team that runs this place is a rare combo. Love it here.
They want people that make over 57k a year and a credit score over 710 which I do have but the area does not reflect the price nor the requirements. Anyone that makes over 57k a year is not going to stay on East market street. It’s a bad area. Literally a college is 2 seconds away from the area. The requirements are too big and too much. Anyone that makes over 60k for one why would you stay on the east side of Greensboro! BFFR!

Moved in February, absolutely love living here. Apartment is new and beautiful, and all of the staff is very welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend!

Welcome Home - Glad you love the apartment. We are happy to have you as part of our community.
Moved into Bailey Village in January and it is great. The unit is spacious with a huge balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows. The leasing staff and maintenance crew are easy to work with and very attentive. *Bonus* I’m just minutes away from work in Downtown GSO and a block off of the Greenway for fun biking.

Welcome Home to Our Community. We are glad you are close to work and you are enjoying the large space and balcony.
Along with telling applicants they must make 57.5k a year to stay here they need to add the exact credit score range they are looking for as well so they don't waste your time. Your credit score holds more weight than anything else on the application.
Property Manager at Bailey Village (Not Student Housing), Responded To This Review
We try to provide as much information as possible so that we don't waste your time, as time is precious to all of us. The credit score doesn't hold all of weight for us. We aim to create a community of long-term residents who do not place themselves in what could be a future financial hardship. Thank you for having considered the Bailey Village community
I am a soon to be resident and thus cannot yet vouch for the living experience however, I have high praise to give for the application process. Mr. Wiggins went above and beyond to make the experience as smooth as possible. I’m relocating from Florida, and trying to find a place from a distance proved to be challenging. He kept me well informed and made sure that I felt safe and comfortable every step of the way. I am beyond excited to call this residence my new home!

Welcome Home - I am glad the experience was successful for you.
The property is nice but the application process is insane. I almost have an 800 credit score and I have never missed a payment but I am considered unqualified to live here due to me not making $60,000+ a year. What makes it even worse I’m paying around the same price of their apartment’s now and I haven’t missed a payment and I always pay early.
Property Manager at Bailey Village (Not Student Housing), Responded To This Review
An almost 800 credit score, no missed payments and always paying early does meet some of our criteria. We aim to create a community of long-term residents who do not place themselves in what could be a future financial hardship, thus what appears to be a strict income requirement. Thank you for having considered the Bailey Village community
