Canton’s recognition as one of the safest cities in Michigan is reason enough to move there. A strong focus on education, Canton is well on its way to becoming one of the fastest growing communities in the state.
The area is ideal for families. It has a well-maintained park system which includes Independence Park and Heritage Park. Here, residents can bask in an afternoon of walking, watching their kids play sports, and bond over a picnic in the grass.
Commuters have a short drive to and from the cities (yes, two cities!). Canton is just a few miles from the city limits of Ann Arbor and Detroit. When you live here, most of your conveniences are located along Ford Road, one of the main thoroughfares.

Property Ratings at Bainbridge Park
The new management team is awful they not only do not do there job to help residents they try to pit neighbors against each other. Don't expect them to make residents follow the lease regulations and if you dare to make a complaint they will make your life a living hell by letting the people you complained about know that you made the complaint (which is against fair housing). Maintance is a joke every time they step foot in my apartment they break something else. These apartments are a joke
If I can give negative stars I would … DO NOT move here! I am highly disappointed of the conditions and treatment for tenants! THERE ARE RATS throughout the entire complex ! I am so fearful that I go home before it’s too dark! I have to tell my guest to leave at a certain time because of the rats ! It’s so sad and upsetting to pay rent and be fearful of my environment! Please do not move / live here
The police are here 2-3 times per week. We have had people loitering in lots and looking through our car. It’s extremely noisy, people speed down the main road constantly and every night multiple cars blast their bass/sub woofers from 12-6am. There is little to no insulation between units. You can hear and smell everything from your neighbors. This list could go on.. The only thing this complex had going for it is the location, but that’s not even enough to make this place bearable anymore. Do not recommend.
Ive lived here for a very long time.. and probably still would except about a year and a half ago the complex started renting units to a rehab center. throughout the complex, including two units around myself are used for recovering addicts. Life has been unbearable not to mention there has been several circumstances were the police were called. Unfortunately I consider this place unsafe, despite several complaints to management. Definitely not worth the stress or the rent to live around addicts.
i have been her probably the longest and in over thirteen years problems occur - its natural but what i fin so comforting is that the bainbridge employees come to the rescue - ex . no heat at 3am - 2nd floor bathroom floor ends up in my bathroom - a/c does not work with temps close to 100 - dishwasher and stove die - no matter what the circumstances were the management came to the rescue and fixed the problem in minimum time THANKS BAINBRIDGE stan 6925
I wanted a place that was quiet and safe to live. This place fits the bill! Very helpful staff and helpful maintenance workers. Don't miss this place!
I recently rented an apartment from Stacie at Bainbridge Park and she was super informative and professional. She knew all the answers to my questions and every detail about my new home. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new apartment to check out Bainbridge Park. If you're looking for an apartment with a washer and dryer, like I was, this is the place for you! They even allowed me to bring my dog, which most apartments do not allow. When you go to visit be sure to ask for Stacie she's the ultimate rental agent who will go above and beyond to take care of you and make feel right at home. I'm so happy with my decision to live at Bainbridge
I love the people that work there, they are able intelligent friendly workers with a desire to interact with you, that make myself feel at home
These apartments are very well maintained ! The grounds are impecable and the staff are friendly ! I fully enjoyed the level of professionalism that was displayed Durning my encounter.
The staff is so helpful and really care about the community.
.We were showed a different apartment before we moved in (because ours wasn't ready to be shown) with new appliances and updated flooring throughout. When we were about to move the appliances in our apartment were OLD from 1900 and our carpet was NOT been updated. I did not move in to the apartment that I was told about. I had to make a decision about my own apartment same day. Either I take the most expensive one to meet my expectations and What I was shown(model) very trashy quality and rip off place comparing of what I had. There is no padding under the carpet because it’s too old. Sign my lease but did not get a copy. I feel my AC is not working. My washer is too old and it’s not working. The apartment complex looks nice from outside but it’s horrible from inside. Pricey for nothing. They don’t deserve a star
If I could give Bainbridge negative stars I would.. My fiance and I have had NOTHING but terrible experiences with management and maintenance since we moved in. We were showed a different apartment before we moved in (because ours wasn't ready to be shown) with new(ish?) appliances and updated flooring throughout. When we moved the appliances in our apartment were OLD and our flooring was NOT been updated. On top of that, our windows had severe moisture issues between the panes of glass. We were told they would be replaced immediately, but they only replaced the door wall (not the other two windows) 6 weeks after they said they would. Also, our refrigerator has a seal issue so it's constantly running and collects condensation that drips inside of it. Our stove is so old it literally will not cook food unless it's on high, at which point it just burns the food.. Our smoke alarm was broken (went off non-stop for hours) so we called maintenance who took it down and never replaced it until we called back and complained. Good thing we didn't die in a fire!!! We have complained about all of these issues MULTIPLE times with no solution! The manager leaves before 5, my fiance and I both work days so we are never able to actually talk to her in person which is probably part of the reason that nothing is ever fixed. Here's the kicker though - our AC went out (it was 84 when I came home from work) so I called the emergency maintenance number. The person I spoke to told us he would call us back in 15 minutes, 1.5 hours later we hadn't heard back so I called again. Instead of apologizing for the delay, he had a snappy attitude and complained that 4 AC units went out that same day (FYI it wasn't that hot, that's just how crappy the AC is). My fiance and I left, when we came back there was a portable unit in our door wall (meaning we couldn't get outside to water our flowers or use our balcony) and both the portable unit and the AC was running. It is 4 days later, we still don't have a functional AC unit or fridge or stove. We've been dodged by management. Our DTE bill is $200 from the AC and fridge non-stop running for all that time before we realized it was broken.
When we checked out the complex we were shown the upgraded model apartment with newer flooring, cabinets and black appliances and were told that they were running a "special" on rent for year end and then we were given the "special rent" apartment which did not have the black appliances but old appliances that were at least 20 years old. The refrigerator wasn't even working when we moved in! When we contacted maintenance they informed us that nothing could be done until management was notified. It took over 5 days for management to provide us with a "replacement" fridge from another apartmnet and by then we had to throw out most of our new groceries. The walls and floors are very thin and you can hear every noise including people talking and their alarm clocks. The windows/doorwall are so old that they are very difficult to open and we actually have frost on the INSIDE of the windows in our apartment. We had moved from another apartment complex in the Northville/Novi area which we loved but the rent was getting too high. Our former complex had very nice up to date units and the maintenance crew was excellent. We never waited more than 1 day for ANY repair/maintenance issue ever. Guess the saying "you get what you pay for" really applies... If you're looking for an apartment in this area, keep looking!
I have absolutely loved my first 3 weeks here! It is such a wonderful, friendly, comfortable, atmosphere, and the management is more than exceptional!!!! I'm grateful to have found this place and would recommend it to anyone!!!! Thank you again Bainbridge Park !!!!!
My husband and I moved in earlier this month and our apartment had so many issues when we moved in. Now we have lived in an apartment prior to this in Novi and we loved it.. we just had to relocate due to work so we know what good management and maintenance looks like. We were very disappointed when we arrived to find out in the first week that the washer and dryer were not installed correctly- they did not even have a plug for the dryer, the stove oven didn't work- try preheating for dinner and it won't even heat up, the refrigerator doors were put on backwards, the sliding door wouldn't lock, our door keys keep sticking and won't open the door, the bathroom tube leaks water, the previous owner didn't return the mail key so we had to take our lease to the post office to get a new one, the list goes on. Not a good first impression at all! Hoping this year goes by fast because we can not wait to move already.. not worth the cost of rent and utilities, look elsewhere!
Bainbridge Park Apartments is great community! Since the new owners have came and took over, it has been an huge improvement! Im going on my 3rd year and love where I live. Love the staff, love all the new landscaping, new fitness gym and new upgrades option for our apartments!!! Its a great place to live!
We're renting this 2 bedrooms/1bath since 7 months now, and what we can say is that we're feeling home ! The landlord changed just before we moved in, and we've got great updates since the beginning: electronic and programmable thermostat for the heater/AC, low consumption bulbs in the entire apartment, efficient bathtub jet... The house itself is kind of old but seems to be maintained enough, living upstairs we're not hearing the neighbors, there are a pool and a small gym (enough for what we do and it's free). What we really like is that the complex is in a regular street, not in a small court. Thus it feels way more like it's your home and not like a regular rent in a complex. Price is fair but I wouldn't accept a raise and would look for something else if it goes up.
