Cockroaches sighting in the apartment and trash room multiple times. This continues to be a problem and has not been addressed in 6 months and counting. Neighbors stealing package straight out of the mail locker room, pretending to be receptionist. Homeless hangout inside the building. Vents produce a horrible smell into the apartment. Days leading up to move in was stressful due to incomplete information and leasing staff being passive aggressive. Just one EV charging station for two buildings housing 100s residences. Lack of guest parking, about 7-8 spots total for a 6 floor garage.

Not safe, homeless lives inside building. Garage door is always breaking , parking lot is a scam , your car will be damaged. Roaches everywhere, carpets are dirty in hallway. Management isn’t good with maintenance calls , good luck trying to move in and move out with the loading dock situation. Key fob won’t work making you go way out your way with heavy groceries to another door. very outdated to what is being built.

Look elsewhere, there are better options for similar pricing in the area. The Pro's are its location and the service team is actually great. The con's are literally everything else. To be more specific, during the last 2 years I've either directly or indirectly dealt with rodents, roaches, illegal towing, stolen property, unreasonably noisy neighbors, incredibly thin walls & ceilings, consistently broken amenities (including the ONE garage door), unresponsive management, and a revolving leasing staff. In addition to the unsavory characters that roam the halls at night, good luck receiving help for anything mentioned here. Most of these come with living in a shared space but the cherry on top is the audacity of management to ignore problems unless threatened with litigation.

This building has it's pros and cons, but mostly cons. Ever since the management was cut short and switched up, due to Covid, things went down like Titanic. The Bainbridge quality of living at this moment is a disaster in comparison to what it used to be. First of all, if You're thinking about making this place your new home, make sure that You are prepared to be MISTREATED in many ways. Current management will make sure that if You have any issue in regards of your stay, (for the most part) You must solve it yourself or forget about it, because their moto is "IT IS WHAT IT IS" Most commonly occurred issues: Roaches, Lost packages, Residents Vehicles being towed randomly, Garage door malfunction (often), Extremely thin walls (lots of noise), Maintenance invading your personal space, Managements poor communication and execution (which they are "working on" per Bainbridge's Director of Operations) Pros: Metro station is right next door, The neighborhood is somewhat nice and comfy. Amenities are nicely presented, but useless for the most part. The pool is outdoors in the middle of the building with maybe a couple of hours of Sun per day (useless). Coffee machine is almost always in malfunction mode (somewhat useless). The gym is very decent (actually the only thing that isn't useless). Courtyards have BBQ grills that sometimes work, most of the times just one operational (somewhat useless). To sum this up, this building has lots of potential but the management has been terrible ever since Covid.

Stay away. This place looks nice at first, but don't get suckered. The walls are paper thin, the HVAC units always malfunction, and worst of all the management degrade any legitimate request to help. They literally will tell you to move out before they give an honest effort to resolve an issue!

The building is poorly constructed with appliances that are cheap so they often break. Management is lazy and doesn't take complaints seriously. You need to pay $50 a month for a package service, only for packages to never be placed in lockers. Close metro access is good but they were untruthful about transportation and construction of the metro. I would live elsewhere in Rockville.

We’ve lived here since September following us moving to town, and it’s been rough. We’ve dealt with many issues throughout our lease, but this was the final nail in the coffin... About a month ago a horrible smell was coming up through our bathroom. I tried telling the management that it smelled like something died but they didn’t believe me/didn’t bother to look too hard. I even told them the floor below us also smelled like it but still they dragged their feet. Weeks go by and we get a cryptic phone call saying the “source” has been taken care of. I find out from someone randomly in the hallway that one of our neighbors downstairs passed away and the smell of decomposing human remains had been wafting up into our apartment the entire time. When I confronted management about it, they were shocked we found out because they had intended on hiding the truth and doing nothing to help us. The smell took FOREVER to get out and the most they did to help was put an air purifier in our bathroom which did not solve the problem. Following this they made an offer to clean our apartment and comp some rent, however today the regional manager emailed us saying they would be rescinding the offer, it wasn’t their fault, and not their problem. I literally feel like they could care less if we’re here or not. Their focus seems to be only on getting new leases, and not on taking care of their residents. I sure hope I don’t pass away in this apartment because if I do, I know they won’t bother checking it out.

The good stuff: Access to metro station. Refreshments and gym The bad stuff: Poorly managed and super thin walls and floors. If you have small kids and tend to run a little in the house you are going to make your neighbors really mad. Also you cant have conversations in the room sharing the wall with another apartment without being heard.
If you want to be constantly harassed by unsubstantiated noise complaints, then move here.
Melissa and Chrissy are probably the biggest reason why I hated this place. You voice a complaint, they laugh in your face. They are down right cruel individuals that are incompetant of running an apartment. How they have any awards howthey haven’t been fired or shut down is beyond me. The county leasing officials are aware of their devious tricks and should be blacklisted before long. Corporate office please see all these reviews everywhere that list these individuals as the problems and do something about it.
Am stuck here for 4 more months. It’s a scam. Don’t be fooled by first floor decor. Smells of weed all the time and dog poop litters the halls. Lies and lies from management. They lure you in with 2 free months - don’t fall for it. If it was a good place they would no need to lure people with 2 free months, think about it! It’s a horrible place, be very aware. Management is nice only until you sign, them they literally stop caring about you. It’s all a scam and a show. Be aware and stay far far away! I wish I did
I have been living here for over a year and the professionalism of the leasing office has declined. When i first moved in everyone was professional and pleasant and provided you with very valuable and necessary information. Now the manager and assistant manager seem to be all over the place. They do not work on one accord and will yell at you if you inconvenience them. The apartment itself is very nice and has high end appliances. The amenities are great as well. I throughly enjoy my time at the pool. But I do believe that management needs to go through customer service training. I am also sad that one of their best leasing agents Brandon is leaving. I hope bainbridge works on addressing the management issues.
These people towed my guest's vehicle even though I had it registered and tagged and I paid $5.00 per day to have it here. Reason being is because it wasn't parked in guest parking, I told them I didn't know we had guest parking but they didn't care. So they charged my credit Card $128.00 on top of the money I had already paid per day for guest parking.
I've lived at Bainbridge Shady Grove for a few months now. As a fairly new resident, I expected to come across a few inconveniences after I moved in like most residents do in a new apartment community because no apartment is perfect. Apartments are never really as shiny and spectacular as the leasing professionals make it seem on your initial tour. Bainbridge Shady Grove, without a doubt, is the first apartment community that has lived up to every commitment they made when I first toured the community. The apartment building is brand new and the location is spectacular. The apartments have stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathroom, BEAUTIFUL glass showers, laminate floors for an upgrade look and multiple secure entry features for the safety of their residents. The location is amazing, with the exception of the whole never being able to make a left turn anywhere but that's a Rockville issue, not a Bainbridge issue :) The parking garage is huge and such a wonderful feature for an area that deals with a good deal of snow and ice. While I love the building, the thing that I adore the most is the amazing leasing staff and management. Never once have I felt like I was inconveniencing them when making a request, asking a question or simply picking up a package. They always greet me with a smile and make me feel like they value my presence in the apartment community and they make an effort to get to know you on a personal level. Tiffany, the Assistant Community Manager, and Troi, a Leasing Professional, went above and beyond on my move in day. I was on crutches and having a hard time getting around and they took the initiative to personally bring me packages upstairs that I had shipped to my new address. I truly hope that Bainbridge values the amazing management and leasing staff that they have at Bainbridge at Shady Grove. ALL OF THEM. Before I moved here, I lived at another Bainbridge community about 20 mile away. The reason I left was because of the leasing staff. I actually paid to break my lease because I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Please recognize the amazing job that this staff is doing. They deserve so much credit for their professionalism, work ethic, and overall kind demeanor that they display to every person that walks through the door. Keep it up, guys! You're amazing!!! I couldn't be happier with my decision to lease with Bainbridge Shady Grove.

Bainbridge Shady Grove is the most convenient apartment community in Rockville. It's exactly 425 steps to Shady Grove metro and a 1 minute drive to 355 and 270. Not to mention the building is beautiful and modern with a state of art yoga room, garage parking, and south beach style pool! To fire pit and grill area are to die for, I can't wait to entertain my family and friends.
This is the absolute best apartment that I have ever lived in. Although it is a new community and there still some minor rough patches, the staff is great. The Assistant Manager Tiffany has gone above and beyond to assist me with my move in. The location is perfect and I definitely plan on sticking around for a while.
