Quiet building in a nice location. I haven't heard any planes from the nearby airport, and the building is well insulated from the highway noise. The units are nicely furnished and have great layouts.

Baker Block is a modern affordable luxury building that really care about their residents! Front office and maintenance are very very nice and professional. They respond almost immediately to any questions and emails! The community is beautiful, feels like home! Baker Block is great with some minor tweaks it could be better. Staff should be more engaging with residence, get out walk the gym, pool, parking structure, ask people about their experiences in person. Assigned parking would be ideal, Blue Sol does it and works perfect. Over all BB is a fun safe place to live!! ??

I moved to baker block a few months ago and I love it! It feels like resort living with the amenities and the staff is top notch! This place has me feeling like I live in a hotel! The unit was spotless upon entering for the first time and the natural lighting is amazing. The trash valet is a game-changer with apartment life and might be my favorite feature so far. The pool is incredible and very clean, and there's always people hanging out and enjoying all that Baker Block has to offer.

I could go into the dozens of reasons why myself and so many others have recently moved out and not resigned our lease..., but Ive wasted enough time dealing with their management over the last 15 months. Bottom line is people vote with their pocket book and looks like there's lots of vacancies here... and for good reason.

Moved out after my lease was up due to a number of issues. The flooring is ridiculously thin and you can hear everything your upstairs and downstairs neighbors are doing. The quality of the materials/appliances are poor. The bath tub / shower is cheap and rusts/corrodes even with regular cleaning, the oven is absolute garbage and causes the fire alarm to go off (you’ll hear fire alarms going off on the regular). Additionally, the management is ran with only themselves in mind. I gave up on asking them for simple things that most leasing companies would have no problem assisting with. For example, I needed a spare key for my apt (they are key fobs) and they told me it was against their policy to give anyone more than one key. This obviously can cause a lot of issues especially if you’re a pet owner and need someone to walk your dog when you’re not home. When you go see them in person they’ll tell you they’ll follow up with you in the next day, and then weeks will go by with no follow-up. Currently they are holding my deposit illegally as it has been past the 30 days and there were no damages to the apartment at move-out inspection.

I have lived in several apartment communities and this is the first one where I feel there is a strong effort by management to make you feel at home here. There is a strong feeling of community and most residents are very friendly. I really love it here

**DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY** That is all I can emphasize here, if nothing else. I was very exited to live, from what appeared to be, in a new, clean and well developed community. Being here 11 months now, I can firmly say, this is the worst apartment complex in which I have resided. If you are walking out of any of the "manicured" gates, off the bat it smells like dog urine. Majority of the unit owners have poorly trained dogs (or poorly trained owners who do not know how to take their animals out in a timely manner) who urinate/potty on the carpet or inside the elevator. Do these unit owners clean up after their animals? Absolutely not! Does the property manager do anything about it? Absolutely not! Next up, we have package delivery... now from my experience, my previous leasing office would hold packages, that did not fit in parcels, until unit owners presented their ID and signed for said packages. HOWEVER, Baker Block has emptied out a closet on the second floor that ANYONE WITH A FOB KEY (used to open your front door) CAN ACCESS. I don't know if this is laziness or pure negligence. But rest assured, they have "relinquished all responsibility for any lost or stolen packages". Needless to say, I have about 4 missing packages since they have started using this "second floor package storage". I won't even get started on the issues with the parking garage, trash valet service (which makes the tenants think they can leave their garbage in the hallways all day long) AND the pest/insects all over the complex, as there are simply not enough hours in my day. Please heed my warning, this place is not worth your dime.

Baker Block is probably one of the only communities in the area with all of these amenities and frequent complimentary events that are liked by all residents. The leasing and maintenance staff are always so helpful and make sure you are content even after you sign your lease! :-)
Baker Block is a hidden gem. Many treasures beyond the exterior walls. It was love at first sight! We love our apartment home and new community of friends. Coming home is a sigh of relief. Its an oasis!
The leasing office team is amazing! No one likes moving but they made the process go as smoothly as possible. Even after move in they are more then happy to assist in any way they can.
Pros: • Clean and open community • Nice Appliances • Modern Amenities • Fiber Internet! • Free bike sharing • A security guard • Great and attentive leasing staff Cons: • Parking Policies (can't get a pass outside leasing office hours, good luck if you work 9-6) • Almost every event revolves around dimwitted "So Cal beach bloggers" (look at their Instagram ??, they must be best buds!) • Monthly "networking" events are open to the public which let hundreds of strangers roam throughout the private complex and causes overcrowding/restricts access to amenities that residents pay for • Starting to market resident amenities (i.e., pool) as rentable areas for private events Summary: Likable apartment, but overshadowed by sketchy/uninteresting stereotypical OC lifestyle events to attract non-residents in the hopes of signing new leases.

Baker Block has been a HUGE upgrade to where we have been living previously. We have friends who live in the building and we all absolutely love it. Everything is clean, safe, and respected by other tenants. I just moved in a couple weeks ago and love having a great place to come home to after work, and the pool is a great place to hang out at on the weekends! WE LOVE IT HERE!
Baker Block makes me feel like I am living my best life! The amenities are that of an upscale hotel.
