From the sandy Hoffman Beach on Lake Parsippany to the beautiful homes in tree-filled neighborhoods, Parsippany exemplifies New Jersey's "Garden State" slogan. The town is award-winning, often topping "best" lists for places to live, and it has been a "Tree City USA" for more than 40 years. The town's history dates back to the first Dutch colony established in 1611, and several historic locations provide a glimpse into the town's history. One of those locations, the Benjamin Howell Homestead, was built in 1763. Another, the Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms, was designed and built by Gustav Stickley -- the only home he built for himself. The museum offers guided tours of the 1911 homestead, which provides a unique glimpse at the arts and crafts movement.
Parsippany wraps around two large lakes, Lake Parsippany and Boonton Reservoir. It is home to several parks and golf courses, adding to the natural beauty of the town.

Property Ratings at Baldwin Manor
I lived at this apartment complex for 7 years and had a very positive experience. The community was safe and secure, which was important to me as I raised my family here - both of my children were born during my time at this complex. The location was convenient, with grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, and Laundromats within walking distance. I also appreciated being able to walk to the NYC bus stop. I found the community to be friendly and the staff at the Baldwin Manor office worked hard to keep the living space peaceful, quiet, clean, and safe. They were responsive to any concerns and made an effort to make us feel at home. Overall, I recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a safe, convenient, and community-driven living experience.
Hallways smell like cat urine, they are never swept, shampooed or vacuumed. Maintenance is non-existent. Bed bugs. Office staff inept. Stay away.
I have been living here for over six months and cannot recommend it to anyone. When we moved in there was literally a maintenance person still in our building painting over everything. Within one week we had a roach problem and had to call management and submit multiple tickets to even get an exterminator to come in. Management left peeling paint and holes in our walls from previous tenant. My building's locks are never actually working and there are solicitors who take advantage of this and come into our building constantly. Management does not do anything. It is very worrisome that there is no security or even attempts to fix our building locks. I only moved in here because it was the only apartment available, and now I see why.
I rented there for almost 2 years. Maintenance is ok, they have only old used parts and old appliances to fix apartments with. There are a ton of kids running around screaming, throwing rocks at peoples cars and yanking on the trees. There are no parents watching these kids. The buildings are all dirty inside, most of the tenants throw garbage all over the parking lots. My car was vandalized twice. Some of my neighbors had loud parties and played loud music late at night. I had the police on speed dial. I did however, get most of my security back. I had a super clean apartment and left it that way. I ended up getting $2300 back out of $2500 security. The complex is like something you see in Paterson or Newark. I was so happy to get out of Baldwin Manor and leave New Jersey.
Saw the model, my apartment was similar. Been here for several years. Staff is helpful. Office staff provide all necessary assistance and information also. Nice grounds. Great location. Convenient on-site laundry. No reason to move or have thoughts of moving elsewhere.
Great location. Nice open land setting. Attentive maintenance staff. Helpful office staff. Was recommended here several years ago and know I made the right decision. Simply looking for it to continue as is.
I moved in here on August 1st I've already had several problems the garbages are always filled to the top so I would have difficulty throwing my stuff away I now have mold in my bathroom because the tenant above me tub leaked into my bathroom I am awaiting on them to take care of it maintenance seems pretty slow with just about everything I had white-faced Hornets on my patio I had to get rid of them myself because maintenance only brings the honey bee spray to spray them they say it's the owner... he's some ex-lawyer ex-judge so he just Band-Aids the problem I am not happy living here.....there is two prostitutes and a guy that sells crack here...I learned about that through the maintenance man is telling me to watch out because I do live alone, I make sure I have cameras and my security system is hooked up but the rent is cheap and it's only for a year I just keep telling myself... I've had to have my screen door handles change because it fell off as I was exiting my apartment the front door I never used because the hallway is very sketchy it looks like a dorm room out of a horror scene type of hallway there is a laundry facility like 2 seconds around the corner from my apartment but again I would be afraid to use that there is a door so some guy can just walk in there close it behind them and attack me if he felt he needed to ....if you have packages there's definitely porch Pirates they just let them sit there by the side doors so I have to get my packages delivered to my friends house
Have been here about 5 years. Enjoy the apartment, buildings, and grounds. Staff is cooperative and helpful. Most convenient to shopping, transportation, and highways. Keep up the good work.
I've lived here for 6 years. while the apartment itself is spacious and it's been walking distance of great Bagels and great pizza, maintenance absolutely sucks! the landlord is the cheapest piece of crap you've ever met in your entire life! my door was kicked in they came to fix it 4 times so it really wasn't fixed and I didn't get a permanent solution until after I call the Towne to complain.... make sure you do your homework before accepting a place here
I visited these apartments. I was very impressed and would love to live here. They are close to shopping(Walgreen's,Pizza,Chinese,Bagels)walking distance. What more could you ask for! Most importantly it is across the street from my church. So I would be able to go to church whenever I needed to. Thank you Christine Bonaccorsi
