Nestled in the rolling hills of northwestern South Carolina, about 14 miles southeast of Greenville, Simpsonville is a picturesque suburb often cited as one of the best places to live in the state. Simpsonville offers residents an array of housing options in established neighborhoods and brand-new communities, from upscale apartments to historic houses and everything in between.
Simpsonville further balances the modern and the historic with its diverse commercial centers, including national retailers at Fairview Station and unique boutiques in the charming downtown area. Speaking of the downtown area, Main Street is vibrant with rows of historic buildings, alluring storefronts, locally owned restaurants, and an old-fashioned clock tower.
One of Simpsonville’s major attractions is the Heritage Park Amphitheatre, which hosts some of the nation’s most popular musicians, in addition to its many scenic parks like Simpsonville City Park.

Property Ratings at Ballantyne Commons of Simpsonville
I lived in apartment with 1 bedroom for approximately 3 yrs. I can say all boxes are checked positively- for those 3 yrs. I can go into each box but will I summarize and say the office handled any concerns quickly, friendly, resolved issues, the maintenance dept was responsible and knowledgable and it was my pleasure to live there. I was so concerned regarding roaches ?? or bugs. Monthly spraying eliminated this concern. No roaches or bugs!!!!! Quiet neighbors, ample parking etc etc. I was very concerned upon leaving. I cleaned then I had a service clean and carpet cleaned. I received my deposit in full and a very nice letter thanking me for choosing them. I would choose BALLANTYNE apartments again. Fortunately I own my own home now but have great memories of my 3 yrs living there.

Your feedback is important and will help us improve our service to provide the best living experience to all our residents. Thanks, again!
We applied for an apartment on 4/11/2019. Standard application asks if you have any felony convictions. We don't have any felonies but they will deny you for smaller infractions on your record. No questions asked. We were denied for a misdemeanor on my fiance. They kept the fees we paid to reserve the apartment. No complaints about the apartment, just their process.
The Top community in the area. My apartment has Just enough room. Christen and anna are nice and have become familiar faces in the office and the maintenacne guys are a delight too
The potential has been there since this place was built but a huge downfall was the constant rotation of office staff and maintenance not to mention amenities that are not worse than surrounding apartment places But they also ain’t much better than them either at least not enough to stand out . But Now every time I go into the office or need a maintenance guy I see the same familiar faces that I thought would be gone in a month or two the first time I saw them. New site manager seems like she knows what she’s doing Which all of the other ones weren’t even there long enough for me to judge that So all in all I really always have enjoyed living here and now that it seems this place is being ran by educated people who at least have the common sense I don’t think I’ll plan on leaving. My only advice is with the amenities and if those come up then Ballantyne will be top dog
Apartment searches are a chore if you are upwards in age such as myself. I must have called 3 to 4 times in a row with questions I had forgotten to ask the first time around. I was connected with the sweetest little peach each time that I called. She was so informative and knowledgeable so I felt at ease with my choice in deciding to rent again. She assured me I was no trouble at all. I made an appointment with the sweet girl and went to visit her on a Saturday. I was met at the door by Anna and a smile that warmed me from head to toe! She was so prepared (which surprisingly most places aren’t even if they’re the ones that made the appointment with you and knew you were coming) and she even had me a little booklet ready with the exact information I told her I was interested in learning more about. Anna took me to see the apartment that I requested more information on which was a 2 bedroom with the most stunning architectural details . The apartment was a match made in heaven. I’ve been to 3 other Simpsonville apartments and forgot they even existed once I saw this one. It made me want to pack up and move in right away but since I just put my house up for sell I couldn’t commit at that moment. I did tell Anna that I could tell how much she enjoys her job and that she is a natural saleswoman! A keen eyed saleswoman that pays attention to detail and makes you feel like you have known them all your life is a real gem. I can’t apply just yet, but I will the moment I’m able. I cant quite urge you enough to pay them a visit if you’re looking for a cozy rental and a warm heart.
Staff was very helpful. I felt understood because I had never rented before, and the apartment agent knew exactly what I wanted and showed me apartments that perfectly suited me. She made the application process very quick and easy which was pleasantly surprising. One thing I would have liked was a tanning center but that doesn't seem to be something that many communities have around here in the south. In the end I would've still chose this community over the ones with the tanning centers due to the legit customer service- which either makes it or breaks it for me. DEF made the cut!

Thank you for your feedback! Customer Service is very important to us, and we are glad to have you as a new resident!
I moved from Ohio to SC and rented at Ballantyne for this past year. I absolutely LOVED living at Ballantyne Commons. The people managing the property from sales to facilities are awesome. Everyone was so friendly, they made living there wonderful. I lived there for 1 year and only recently moved due to commute time to work otherwise I would still be living at Ballantyne. , This is a great place to live! My neighbors were friendly, and the facilities including workout room and pool were spotlessly clean. Definitely an awesome place to live and I would highly recommend it!
