I submitted a maintenance request yesterday morning. I specifically noted in the request that it was a non-urgent matter. Maintenance arrived, tried to fix the issue and when they determined that it couldn't be repaired, they replaced it - all within two hours! I've come to expect this level of service from the team here at Ballinger Commons and yet they continue to amaze me. I love this place.

The staff at Ballinger Commons (both front desk, apartment managers, maintenance, and grounds crew) are always all so helpful, kind, personable, professional, and friendly and offer a warm touch to their services for residents! The only complaint I would have about the apartments is disruptions and loudness of neighbors and violence on site from neighbors in other apartment buildings at Ballinger. This has happened multiple times since I moved into my apartment and it has been the only factor that has ever made me feel unsafe on the premises. Other than that, I feel very welcomed and taken care of by the staff at Ballinger and love the woodsy outdoor nature setting of my apartment, just wish that my apartment had more natural light!

I am very happy here. I’m blessed to have a home facing the forest in the center of the property. It’s quiet, peaceful and I love to hear the birds/owls/tree frogs and squirrels. It’s like my little oasis in the middle of the city.

They keep the rent low and they can usually get maintenance out the same day or 24 hours and maintenance does a fantastic job. They even put booties over their shoes to help keep the carpet clean. The office is great they will collect your packages from UPS & FedX and keep them until you get by to get them. It’s a great place to live.

Due to work I’m moving after staying here for a little over a year. I love the cleanliness and quietness of this apartment. The landscapes are always maintained and look beautiful. While amenities are lovely, I've found that the property management team really is the deciding factor on the quality of life that any apartment can offer. In my experience and opinion, the Ballinger Commons Team is absolutely the best I've ever come across.

You don't want to live here. It is not properly taken care of and is just a mess. It's owned by King County and you are expected to deal with whatever is important to them, not you.

The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. I love walking on the trails and paths. The apartments are ok, but could do with some more upgrades, especially the kitchens. The counters and cupboards are very dated and worn. I do love having a fireplace that actually works though!

I have only been here a short period but this is a great place to live at an affordable price. It is conveniently located (3 minutes from Costco and Home Depot) and well-maintained. The complex is beautiful with lots of greenery and nature trails and the surrounding neighborhood is mostly walkable - important for those of us with four legged friends. It is so nice not to have drive to the park to get my dog exercise. They also have a great recycling program and the app/portal is super convenient and easy to use. The apartments are older but maintenance is usually quick to respond to any issues.

Es un lugar que lo tiene todo, es tranquilo y tiene áreas verdes muy bien cuidadas donde puedes disfrutar de caminar y hacer ejercicios, también son muy cuidadosos con el mantenimiento de las áreas verdes ! Very charming units, spacious with light, soft, warm colors, surrounded in nature, covered parking, comfortable tubs to soak in , nice spacious kitchens, in unit laundry, pleasant maintenance, Nick, quick efficient, kind, pleasant office personal, Samantha, Melanie, the gentleman are kind and helpful, one even lives at the Commons. Good location. Allows pets. Walking trails, pool, very pleasant.

The apartment is spacious and comfortable for the rate we pay. We really like that there is composting. We feel safe. It is quiet. Our windows are not very private but we like the natural lighting.
