Latest management company is terrible! Rules only apply to certain tenants. Property has been damaged or stolen in what should be a secure area, but management does NOTHING to help or remedy the situation. TRUST ME when I say you don’t want the headache of living here. I can’t wait until my lease is up so I can get out! So sad, because this should be a great place to live….the reality is it just isn’t.
One of the two elevators has been broken and out of service for more than 4 months - always the same excuse… waiting for parts to repair. With over 150 units and five floors, only two Elevators was insufficient in the first place. Can you imagine trying to move in or out, while all these residents and all the dogs share just one elevator?? Better plan on overtime hours from your moving company if you plan to move in here!

You are right to be frustrated with the recent elevator issues and we are sorry that you have had to deal with this. We are frustrated as well. We sent a detailed letter to all of our residents explaining what the issues were with the elevators and the reason for the delay. It roughly came down to poor preventative maintenance on the elevators prior to our taking purchase of the community in October of 2022, issues with the current service provider (one of the big 4 international elevator companies), and some supply chain issues causing delays and poor availability of specialty parts. At this point, we feel that the service provider has a handle on the issues and a few scheduled repairs scheduled to address other areas of need given the lack of previous preventative maintenance. As for the design of the building, the ratio of elevators to apartments is pretty typical to other developments with the same number of levels.

Hi there, we appreciate your feedback. We are frustrated as well with the elevator situation. Rest assured, we have parts on order with multiple companies and multiple service contracts with different elevator providers trying to get it resolved. Unfortunately, due to current supply chain issues, the parts we need are on back order. We plan to celebrate when the final repairs are made.
Rent at your own risk. Read the contract very carefully. These folks are sharks. Low grade build out, cut some corners, but charge a premium based upon location. Common areas are very poorly maintained. I found dog excrement in the stairwell and it sat for weeks. Carpeting in the hallways was always dirty and walls show significant wear from previous moves. My apartment smelled bad from the start and although they did attempt to deodorize, the smell never went away. Security gates were often broken and left open for days at a time. Just an overall very poor property and a staff that although is responsive, looks for every way possible to keep as much of your security deposit as possible. Do not rent here.

Preston Hollow is such a charming, vibrant community with old nostalgia. Not only is it great having the convenience of shopping and restaurants just seconds away, my dog is happy to be back near parks and big ol' wide streets with plenty of grass. My unit is very spacious with lots of natural light and I am also enjoying not to pay for a gym membership anymore. I also like my wall to wall wood floors and the fact that I am the first to have ever lived in my brand new apartment.
