Banyan Grove

Haven’t had time to know yet, I am just settling in. It seems ok. Still waiting for my gym pass and a working key for my storage room. I don’t know any neighbors yet. Shopping being close by is great. I love the fact pets are allowed, my fur babies are my family. Electricity seems to be higher here. The complex isn’t quite for sure. I don’t care for hearing the jets over head, I was told that didn’t happen here but it does.

Can't wait to live here. It's just that it takes so long to get an answer whether or not you got the apartment. I have been waiting for so long to find out.

I’ve been living at Banyan Grove for 3 years and only had minor issues. All minor issues were fixed quickly and on the first time. Neighborhood is great and always kept clean. The entire staff is always friendly and helpful.

Ok. Pros: Front office ok. Maintenance guys a pretty good. Amenities car wash/pool/gym decent. Cons: dumpster is at the front of complex. People put their trash out side of door and make everything look dirty. Tow company think they are law enforcement and will tow your car for anything.

It’s a quiet community with a lot of nice amenities! The apartments themselves are very clean and spacious! I have yet to have any problems with my apartment and the staff in the leasing office work very hard and are very kind! The 24 hour maintenance team is always working to make the place better for the residents and the tenants are made to feel valued! Overall a great place to live!

Sometimes, you need the extra push to get the job completed. Not all correspondence made to Greystar directly has to be deemed a bad thing! We couldn't figure out why my brand-new ac until wasn't working! Eventually the contractor figured out the motherboard was "fried." Maintenance had no control of the contractor's willingness to come fix the problem. That's when Greystar corporate got involved. A problem that began in Early August was resolved in 72 hours once corporate got on the case. Greystar is an excellent management company!

When someone enters a new place not everything is apparent, clear. Sometimes, the atmosphere is chaotic, for example. This was not the case, however, when stepping into the front office at Banyan Grove. Everyone, especially the manager Carol, we're very warm, professional, helpful in creating an uplifting welcome to me. It was friendly. When I experienced a computer challenge help was provided in minutes. Everyone was very courteous, too. How could I have wanted anything better?

Maintenance takes forever to complete anything. It would also be nice to have more than just the compactor on the property. Additionally it would be amazing if the lawn people sprayed for miscitoes as we can't enjoy the outdoor spaces that we pay for without getting bitten. They also get into my car which is very irritating!

The experience has been overall amazing compared to other places I have lived . Everyone is friendly and inviting . I would recommend this place to others.

The staff here has made the move incredibly simple and answered any questions I have had. The complex is quiet and peaceful. This has been one of the best places I've lived in the area.

I wish the neighbors would be more respectful with the trash they just throw around in the parking lot. I wish dog owners would pick up after their dog does their business.

Maintenance has been super helpful in every situation we’ve had, they’ve responded quickly and gotten things done in a timely manner. The front desk staff is helpful with every concern we’ve had as well.

I enjoy living in the Banyan Grove community. With the exception of parking, my 14 years here has been great. Maintenance is always very responsive even though I've never had many Maintenance request. The Merry go round of property managers and personnel is never ending.

Banyan Grove is a very green, well maintained community, quiet too. Blake and Carol in the office are very nice and really make you feel you have come home! They really care you are taken care of. Cole and especially Matt are great for taking care of maintenance issues promptly. I am very happy to live at Banyan Grove now!

Great place to live only problem is the communication online, haven’t been able to have email communication through the app. Other than that this place is great, the apartments are clean, nice pool area, and the views are great!

Love it here. Clean, orderly, helpful all the time. Love Blake. Banyan got us in in a time crunch and under a lot of stress. Pool is always nice. Parties are always planned out and immaculate

While these are older upgraded apartments they are very nice and make you feel at home. Management and maintenance is also very caring and goes above and beyond.

I’m enjoying my living at Banyan Gove and had only minor issues that have been fixed promptly with no issues. The management are always pleasant and willing to assist with all my questions.

It's not a bad place to live, but for the price of rent, you'd think it would be cleaner, and that the rules were enforced. There has also been increased issues of break-ins, and of homeless people entering the property and sleeping in vacant units. The fence openings to the street need to be gated, for the safety of the residents.

Great location, good Property Management, spacious apartments. We haven’t used the pool or clubhouse but it looks well kept. Only downside is you can hear your upstairs tenant walking.

I have not had a good experience here. I like my apartment and the pool but if you have an issue it takes a lot of calls, emails and trips to the office to get anything done. There is trash all over the grounds. It never used to be like that. There is a huge turn over. Very few seem to stay. I can see why.

A nice housing community and military friendly. Maintenance responds quickly to any issue. Staff is welcoming and assist you with anything that you need.

I have not moved into this apartment complex officially yet but I’m super exited because so far the experience has been outstanding. They have exceeded my every expectation!

Currently a month into our lease and we are so happy with the quietness of the community. The staff are extremely helpful, maintenance is efficient and fast. Truly been a nice move in experience for us.

Banyan Grove is a beautiful luxury apartment complex if you're just passing through. Do not expect your apartment to be like new when you move in. Whatever wasn't fixed before you moved in, in my case: peeling/damaged cabinets, counter tops, and floors, will NOT be replaced. You'll just have to cover it up or camouflage it the best you can. Since I have moved in here, I had a flea infestation, mold issues, and water leaks from outside and inside walls, in which I've had to annoyingly advocate for myself, or the issues wouldn't have been taken care of properly. The leasing and maintenance staff here are very kind. I believe they are doing their best with the hand Greystar is giving them. If I could break my lease immediately I would. We pay way too much money to live like this. Greystar do better. That's my review!

Since I've been here going on 4 years they promote good quality good ethic in the office or your first arrival but as you here the quality is not there

I wouldn’t move here, the model they show isn’t the same as the apartment you get. They charge way too much for a run down apartments, There’s no parking, the trash situation is ridiculous, the dog park never gets cleaned, and trying to get support for maintenance is like pulling teeth. Save yourself the time and money.

Beautiful community, cheap materials (cabinets, counters, fixtures). Nice staff, plenty of parking, too many residents with pets, great amenities.

Had its issues such as outdated appliances but overall quiet community. Decent place for short term stay

It’s been almost a year I am living here and I am very satisfied with this community. I will most likely renew my lease.

This is the worst property management I have ever had to deal with. My water bill is between 200-300 a month and the told me in the offer that was a rate increase. Nothing we can do. Maintenance tickets are closed with no explanation and nothing being done. Do not rent here. You will regret it.

This property is in a great location! Down the street from interstate and lots of restaurants! The office has been very helpful and friendly. Love it so far.

This was the best apartment complex of all the ones I toured when moving. It is close to all the essential places such as grocery and work.

I love living here. It’s quiet, everyone I’ve met in the neighborhood is nice. Good grassy areas and walking space for dogs as well. Leasing agents have also stopped to pet my dog while walking which I thought was really sweet. I for sure feel safe and at home here. The units are also good sizes and in good condition. Only downside is the units aren’t super updated and it’s a little pricey, but also doesn't look old or unkempt and you’re paying for a good area. Maintenance guys are also amazing. Would definitely recommend :)

Banyan new management is awesome, they really care about there residents, they help provide different strategies to keep you satisfied and comfortable. They have community gatherings for meet and greets and love surrounds you continuously! I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone !

Great move in experience, the staff and front office have been very helpful, any questions or concerns I've had have been addressed in a timely manner.

It is a well situated area, very accessible, and clean facilities.

I lived at Banyan Grove for the last year, unit my husband got relocated with the military. Mariska and Keniesha in the office are super friendly and so is Johnny the maintenance technician. They were always helpful. Loved the pool, car wash and the dog park. I truly enjoyed their monthly resident functions in particular the waffle Wednesday that my kids are a big fan off. If we ever get stationed back in VA, we know where to call home.

It is a great place to live. Can be noisy as I don't think there are any sound proofing measures in the walls or floors. I hear my neighbors daily. But it's not too bothersome other than I worry what they hear from my apt. Working with confidential info it's concerning and doesn't allow me to work from home as much as I would like. But the space is wonderful, the patio is huge, and the neighbors are cool.

I love living here thus far. Unit and property is clean and well maintained. The leasing office and maintenance staff are friendly and helpful. The move in process was super easy and convenient.

Beautifully maintained, quiet living in the heart of Virginia Beach. Close to everything and far enough away to escape the bustle and still watch the jets soar!

Love the pool view and the car wash. Today I enjoyed breakfast in the leasing office. Love the fact that they have Waffle Wednesday once a month and the free pizza pie we received last week.

Lived here for over 4 years now and I am happy to say that things have gotten so much better at this property. I truly enjoy living here.

Love the new office staff, they have a great response time and are always friendly. The current maintenance staff is excellent. Love the area.
