Baptist Terrace Apartments

Baptist Terrace is a great place to live. I recently moved-in to Baptist, and I could not be happier! The staff is EXCELLENT! I recommend Baptist Terrace to people who are looking for a great place to live.

I am not personally a resident, but my grandmother and grandfather were residents in this building for over 20 years. It saddens me today to have to leave a review today, however it is a lovely building, and great location. As someone who visited Baptist Terrace frequently over the past 19 years, I have seen the different management companies that have come and gone over the years first hand. Today, as my family packed up the apartment which belonged to my grandpa, who recently passed Monday, they were confronted by the Assistant Manager Paula, who proceeded to accuse my uncle of backing into the same red car on multiple occasions since they first started packing up the apartment on Sunday. In this incident Paula continually claimed that she had proof (video proof that turned into eyewitness accounts), but when asked to see her proof, she would dance around the question, making it all to clear that she had not personally checked surveillance, and was merely confronting them on accusations. The end result being the police being called, by both my family, and management. Ultimately it was found that the accusations did not have an ounce of truth within them, as the red car arrived after my uncle, and left before he did. In addition my uncle drives a state of the art 2018 Frontier, which is fully equipped with a back up camera: not that he would need one considering he drives so carefully to the point that he hardly reaches the speed limit. Even after all of this management still made the choice to force my family to vacate the premises, in a time when we are just trying to take the time to go through my grandfathers belonging, and get the unit empty before it's next "lucky" resident. Not to mention how difficult of a time this is for our family. One of the most ironic things about the whole situation is that Paula, the Assistant manager repeatedly said she was trying to protect her residents, when she did not even know that one of her longest presiding residents had passed. If the current management has only been there a short time, and already left a very sour taste in our mouthes, I urge you to strongly consider other options for living that may be available. For a place that has earned the nickname "Heavens Waiting Room" by its residents, I can not believe that management would handle the situation so horribly, and only highlights the incompetency of the people it chooses to employ.

I have lived at Baptist Terrace for a year and am so pleased to he living here. I love being in the center of the city, close to a grocery store, banks, restaurants and beautiful Lake Eola. But most of all, it is a blessing to live in such a well kept up, clean building that is safe and accessible. I can't say enough about the management here at Baptist Terrace. They are always available to listen to our concerns and needs. The maintenance team responds immediately should we tenants have a maintenance issue and housekeeping keeps our building clean at all times. Last but not least, our service coordinator goes far beyond her daily obligations to us tenants to ensure that we are cared for, both in body and mind. What a blessing it is to live at Baptist Terrace, Sheila Alexander
