Property Ratings at Barclay Square Apartments
Covered in Bedbugs and the landlord does not care.
Avoid this place at all costs because it will COST YOU more than you can imagine to live here! Property is rundown, poorly maintained and infested with bed bugs, mice and roaches. Lived here for one miserable year and moving out - rather couch surf and save my $$ for a decent place with decent landlord! Have to throw all of my upholstered furniture, mattress set and linens out in the dumpster because of all the gross bugs. Terrible slumlike conditions.
This apartment isn’t good at all, I’ve lived here for 2 years, it has roaches and mice everywhere, even if you keep your house clean! Maintenance isn’t so great but they do have other people to take care of so I don’t mind. This is only good for students or couples trying to stay on a very low budget, only good as a first apartment. The lobby stinks and people are always stealing your packages. The apartment is broken down and it’s a very old building. The front desk aren’t nice at all. If you’re trying to get this apartment because if an emergency go ahead but if you have time don’t rush it look for something else!!!!
Units are nice size and I like the balcony but there are huge cockroaches crawling around everywhere. I’ve called maintenance a couple times and all they do is just put some roach poison down and leave. This is ridiculous!
This is unbelievable.. The ceiling in the bathroom begins to leak yesterday. We called the emergency line three times to let them fix. Today one person came, fixed two places that were leaking, and left one place right above the toilet, still LEAKING. Called emergency line again and the same person came, said we have to WAIT UNTIL NEXT MONDAY!! Unbelievable, and after he left. The WHOLE CEILING FALL OFF!! Unbelievable, completely frustrated.
It nice, quiet and very clean and a family like environment. they responded to your questions and needs at a timely manner
If someone wants to be close to public transportation, this is the complex. Next door to the apt complex is a shopping plaza. The apartment is easy to keep clean. It not extravagant, but it suitable for a family until the family can afford buying a home. Its' surrounded by trees and a stream of water flowing in the back of the complex. The grounds are kept very well and the front apartment have bench near young trees for good shade.
Great location across the street from the trolley, so easy access to the city. Nice courtyards give the feel of a small park outside your building, and makes finding room for the kids to play easy. Sizable balcony gives a great view of the courtyard, and adds some outside living without leaving the apartment. Nice staff is very quick to handle any issues, tho they are few and far between. Best of all, building is very quiet.
Living here is great. It conveniently located next to a shopping center and walking distance of public transportation. Property landscape is maintained regularly year round. Property maintenance replies immediately. Neighbors are peaceful.
