Bardstown Forest

Im moving from Texas and inquired about leasing a 2 bedroom. They worked though all the 2 bedroom options they had but the timing didnt match up. Wanted to give them a good review to say thanks for trying to work with me and being so responsive!

If this is where you’re looking for a first time apartment, don’t. Wasn’t informed you’d be denied if have 0 rental history before paying these people my application fee.

I moved into a renovated 1 bedroom early in 2020, just a month or two after the pandemic hit, and moved out-of-state in August 2023. I loved living here, and discovered it through Apartments.com. Apartments are in close proximity to a large number of restaurants and stores. As a woman I never had any issues with crime or feeling unsafe. The complex itself is quiet and beautiful. Maintenance always arrived on time, and routine pest inspection (NEVER had any bug problems!) occurs monthly. Even the most minor maintenance was taken seriously and fixed quickly. Maintenance requests and bills are easy to handle through the portal. The office staff were always helpful, especially Michelle. They always answered the phone/emails in a professional and respectful manner. Even after I moved out, upon realizing I left behind a sentimental item, Michelle went above and beyond to collect it and mail it to me at my new address! Notice of our security deposit was mailed within 2 weeks, and was completely fair with no surprise charges. I wish the laundry system was a bit better, as there is usually 1-3 machines out of order, but I never had any trouble in the end. My only regret with this apartment is that we didn't upgrade to a 2 bedroom! This was a great place to live overall, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Quiet community and great place to live. Management was easy to work with and got back to me quickly if I needed anything (Michelle I think...). Would recommend this place. No complaints.

There are many things I really love about living here, but the tops are the well kept grounds, nice amenities, location, awesome property managers, and all around a great apartment to live in. I have lived at a few of the Sun Residential spots, and they are all exceptionally run. I think that is what sets them apart from other similar complexes. The pool is a huge bonus for hot louisville summers :) I would recommend anyone.

Current resident. The apartments are nothing more than ok. Management is great, maintenance always come in a timely manner. However, the one bedrooms aren’t worth the price you pay for no washer dryer. If you’re looking for a quite area this is far from it. Residents are always having parties. Children out at 12am running around.

Paper thin walls and unannounced early maintenance visits/entries (not including pest control). Huge inconvenience for over night workers. Any sound from the upstairs neighbor or work being done in the basement sounds like it's right there in the apartment.

My family and I have resided with Bardstown Forest for 3.5 years so far and I can't say enough outstanding things about their apartment homes! Its clean, quiet, several street lights throughout the property that you hardly find a dark place at night (very important), well kept landscaping etc! Ms Sherri, Stacy, Savannah, Michelle and Mr. Tim are all amazing and very professional to work with! Any problems or concerns that we've ever had, they have always addressed them professionally and punctually. My husband and I started out with our first 1 bedroom together and expanded to a two bedroom as our family grew. We loved being with this company so much that gracefully when it came to expanding to a 2 bedroom with washer and dryer hookup, Ms. Sherry worked diligently to ensure we were taken care of! I genuinely and sincerely recommend these apartment homes to my family and friends!

The staff is incredibly friendly and easy to deal with. The young lady who did my lease, I think her name was Michelle, was professional and really took the time to explain everything to me and made sure to answer all my questions. I was really nervous and she helped calm me and walk me through the process. Thank You Michelle and Bardstown Forest for my wonderful new place.

SO MANY BED BUGS HERE ITS DISGUSTING!!!! I had to throw my entire house away because of this nasty place!!!!!!!!

nice but my one bedroom is going up to 670. nice but not that nice.
