Property Ratings at Bartlett Crossing
these apartments are so smelly! It smells of mold outside and sewage at least once a month. The buildings are smothered in mold and algae. Ceilings covered in dust. Cars will be towed without warning. There are signs but not visible. The apartments are not worth close to 1,000. Water damage to ceilings. Just horrible. Run the other way don’t waste your time!
The apartment complex is constantly using unethical practices to stronghold residents out of miscellaneous fines. They are working with a tow company to make money off residents to tow their vehicles even when there are visible parking decals present in their cars. Yet they aren't able to provide adequate maintenance service and safety to residents' cars as there has been a rash of car robberies in the past few weeks. The complex was very nice once upon a time but it has seriously declined and is now at its worst.
A great place to live ,I have been living here for a year .The management staff is wonderful and the maintenance staff is the best ,Mr. Reggie is a great maintenance man he go out his way to make sure you are alright . The grounds are clean and this is a quiet place to live. Thanks Bartlett Crossing Staff
I’ve been here for about 6 months, a couple months ago my car, along with a neighbours vehicle, was vandalised and when we informed the manager she said “We didn’t promise safety”. The lights outside have been out for months. My mailbox door broke after a week of being here and the police are called at least twice a week. I’m not sure how these people operated before the coronavirus but since quarantine has been around the service has been absolutely terrible. If I could give negative stars I would.
Very nice place to live. But the pool is never clean like it used to be.
Excellent place to stay. Maintenance is awesome and staff is very professional. I Love it!!!
Okay, I work as a caregiver. I have a few clients who live in this apartment complex. I spend the better part of my day in these apartments, dealing with the staff and household problems. Size wise these apartments are great. Very spacious, but the apartments are declining. As a caregiver I have to clean these homes. I know they are clean and gets cleaned regularly. I have worked in three apartments that have bug problems. Many of the appliances are out of date and no longer work correctly or even work at all. They take forever to fix anything. The neighbors can be loud, but that can go with any place. Staff often lie about when they are going to fix things.
These apartments started off being a great place to stay. Everything used to be clean, management used to be great and I used to feel safe. I know that this is Memphis and things happen but my apartment was broken into my very first year in broad day. I know they can't do much about it, but I tried to move upstairs to feel more safe. When I tried to move literally right above me, they told me I would have to pay a couple hundred. Now if your apartment was broken into at broad day, just image how you would feel at night. I understand that they may have policies, but the least they could do is let me move upstairs. Now I'm still downstairs, in the back and it's pitch black on the other side of the complex where my apartment is because the light only works 20% of the time. So now I have to make sure that I'm armed just walking to my door at night because sometimes there are random people in the lot and around my complex when I come home. Next, they have a major maintenance issue. I could write an entire book about the troubles I've had with maintenance but I won't. I'll just say that every time I put in a maintenance request, it literally takes a month for them to get to it. Really I have to beg them to fix my issues. Just this year, it took them a month to fix a toilet that irregulary flushed (took maintenance a total of 15 min to flush), a month to replace an oven that burns your food in 10 min and a month to replace my microwave that has a short circuit so it cuts off randomly, even while in use. I call them twice a week and even come to the office, just as I do with all my other orders, and they've been telling me that the replacement microwave is here. They've been telling me that story for 2-3 weeks now. I've gotten to the point and accepted that they lie, they don't care and don't get my hops high about getting ANYTHING FIXED/REPLACED in a timely manner. If they cared, they wouldn't lead me on. I just pray that my heater doesn't go out this winter because I just know I'm going to freeze until spring. There will be no point in call the office to have it fixed. They also need to communicate with the waste trucks because the same 2 mattresses has been by the garbage for MONTHS! Honestly, anytime we have big stuff out there, it's there for a while, buy these dirty mattresses are disgusting and they need to do something about it.
I’ve had loud up stairs neighbors, couldn’t sleep at night due to the fact of heavy women live over me I smell weed when I walk out my door to my car they barely keep the apartments up I’ve got mold and a leak in my second bathroom that they’ve yet to fix it’s gross me out trash every where the pool is not working as she say my daughter wanted to swim but the pool is jack up all the money I’m paying towards a good living place here at Bartlett crossing it’s not worth it.
I walked in the office to a refreshing hello and how are you today. I was pleasantly surprised with that alone. The young lady took her time to explain everything that I had asked her. The best part about it, she wasn't belittling or smart in her responses. I am very appreciative of my visit here, I have been looking at a number of places, this was the best customer service received yet.
The staff is always polite and they makes certain tk handle any cituation with courtesy and respect. They were very detailed with the walkthrough and made me feel like I was already home.
The staff of Bartlett Crossing is like family to us. We came to Memphis from Nashville not knowing anyone. We rented an apartment here because the grounds were clean and well kept, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We went through some bad patches during our stay and the staff was there to support us through these bad times. Like I said, family. Maintenance is fantastic, the two gentlemen who work very hard here are miracle workers and keep everything in working order. I would not go anywhere else in the area because we have it all here at Bartlett Crossing.
