Property Ratings at Battery Park Lofts Apartments
Walk at Edgewater Park; easy access to east, west or south burbs; dog friendly neighborhood; well maintained building! Cleveland at its best!
I moved into the BPL shortly after they were built and have lived in two different style units since that time. The apartments are elegant, and the location is great for people of all ages. The current management is also very helpful. Very happy that I get to call BPL home.
Love living in Battery Park Lofts! If you are looking for quiet lovely apartment living in Cleveland that is accessible to everything-this is it.The building is well maintained and excellently managed. The units are very nicely appointed. Lake views are amazing!! You can take your daily run or walk at beautiful Edgewater Park. Get downtown in minutes. Great coffee shops, bars and restaurants very close at hand. Excellent place to settle in Cleveland.
I moved into Battery Park Lofts a little over a month ago. I love it here! Melissa, the property manager, is super friendly and goes above and beyond for her residents. There are many great attractions, including Edgewater Beach which is just 15min walking distance. From the brewery across the street to the Gordon square arts district just a few blocks away there’s something to love for everyone. The high ceiling, breakfast bar and picturesque windows leave little to be desired. Battery Park is more than an apartment complex, its a luxury lifestyle!
I moved into BPL after a horrible experience at a nearby apartment and it was the best decision I could have made. The team at BPL is extremely attentive - there is always open and constant communication about what is going on in and around the property. First and foremost, as a young woman, I feel extremely safe here. On top of that, the apartment complex is clean, the common areas are amazing and the staff & residents are extremely friendly. Any small issue I've ever had has been dealt with and resolved in timely manner. It's one of the best priced apartments in the area, especially when you factor in the proximity to Edgewater and so many great local bars and restaurants. Overall, I genuinely can't say enough great things about Battery Park Lofts and I recommend it to everyone I know moving to the city. I have already renewed my lease twice and will be renewing a third time this year...I love it here!
This apartment is the perfect place to live if you want to escape the noise of downtown but don't want to commit to a house in Lakewood. It's a little outside of downtown but right on the shoreway, so getting to both Lakewood and Ohio City/Tremont is very convenient. It's a great community with many, many dogs and a lot of fun things to do, eat, and drink. It's also very convenient to east cleveland and the heights, so if you work in the hospitals or in the studios of asiatown, you'll have an easy commute. The apartment is pretty spacious depending on which unit you opt for, and switching units is fairly easy if you outgrow your living situation! The walls are thick enough that the noise from dogs/weekend music/the train isn't bad, but if you want complete silence, this probably isn't for you (not sure which apartment would be). The residents are generally respectful, and those who aren't tend to leave quickly. The building is safe and the management takes care of any kind of issue that arises. You are at the mercy of Spectrum community wifi and cleveland public power, which can't be changed, but you'll likely experience that anywhere in cleveland. From my experience, this building is built better than most in Cleveland and has one of the best management teams as well. It isn't the fanciest, but it is very nice and much more affordable than all of the newest buildings. The package system is about the same as any apartment building, and the neighborhood is safe enough that theft isn't a huge concern. I love living here. It reminds me of my college dorms because of how friendly everyone is - many residents can be found at Terrestrial on the weekends with their dogs. Of course- way nicer than a college dorm, especially the two-beds! And the beach views / city views can't be beat for this price point!
Absolutely love living here!! The building is always clean, secure and both management and tenants are so kind. You can’t beat the location with walkable access to Edgewater park and lots of restaurants/bars/breweries. Highly recommend!
The building is kept clean, management is responsive, and the apartments are very nice. I have a great view of the lake and of downtown and it’s within walking distance to Edgewater Park. I highly recommend BPL if you want a quiet, conveniently located, and modern building.
We have lived at Battery Park Lofts since the summer of ‘22. The location is great, close to food & drinks, and a short walk to the beach. Management were easy to communicate with as we were coordinating from out of state and the apartment was clean when we arrived.
We’ve rented a 1 bedroom apartment with Battery Park for a little over 6 months now. The apartment itself is nice and relatively updated. We have a view of the Lake/Edgewater beach which is awesome! I would recommend to friends who are looking for a place a few minutes from downtown. If we were planning on staying in Cleveland, we would definitely renew our lease! Pros: updated living space, excellent view, shared spaces are nice (grill, large patio w/ seating, community room), friendly neighbors, FREE PARKING, building feels secure and safe, have never had an issue where maintenance was needed but I’m sure they are great, good price for the area, resultants and brewery within walking distance, 5 minute walk to the beach. (The list goes on) Cons: I wish the workout room was a little bigger/ had more weights but it gets the job done. Could really benefit with a structured package system. They stack up quickly and it is inconvenient to go through them all.
I love living in this building! I have lived here for about a year and a half, and management has always handled any situation (not really any issues for me living here- but any electrical outings, etc.) very promptly! It's in a great area thats a walk to the beach, and great food places. Definitely recommend this apt complex!
I've really enjoyed my time in the Battery Park Lofts. Big walk in closet, private balcony with wonderful views, in unit washer and dryer, new appliances while in walking distance from Edgewater and Gordon Square. Easy access to downtown. Friendly and responsive management with well maintained common areas.
Great place to live!! Comfortable and everything is new and modern
I’ve lived here for the last 6 months and it’s been nothing but a wonderful experience. Everything from the tour to signing the lease was a very easy process. It’s clean, it’s safe, and it’s quiet. Residential staff are all very friendly and extremely responsive (for a maintenance request for example, it’ll get fixed that same day or the next). There’s also great food and drinks spot in the neighborhood and it sits right over Edgewater Beach & Park. BPL is an amazing place to live. I highly recommend!
Lived here for over two years. Horrendous, unresponsive management that changes every few months. Multiple cars have been broken into and even stolen from the indoor parking garage, yet management have done nothing to make it more secure. I would look elsewhere
I really liked how the finishes in the building didn't look like a lot of other buildings I have seen. The finishes have a nice warm feeling to them. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming .
At first I had trouble trying to get ahold of the leasing office. They didn't show up to my appointment. However I tried to reach them again to tell them the situation and they were very apologetic. I did not get to tour the property but from the pictures and looking around outside, it looked very nice.
