Since living here in 2014 I am really happy . I love living here the staff is so friendly and attentive, they go way beyond for you. They have regular social events that give you that community feel. Maintenance are very responsive to my issues. The apartment grounds are well maintained at all times n I love it. I am able to walk my puppy ?? (Jerzee) on the property and he loves it. I love the New Hub that was install last year and the movie ?? theatre ?? is another favorite amenities. The apartments are a nice size and the rooms, closets are spacious. I definitely love it has washer n dryer hook up. This location is great to many restaurants, grocery stores, gas station ??, pharmacies etc. so again, come see for yourself! I’ve heard from multiple people that this place is great to live at so I decided to move here too. Great price for a great location right next to a cute shopping center with Harris Teeter and Starbucks. The Leasing staff is super kind as well, I’ve felt very welcomed.

I can’t believe how quiet this property is during the day and at night as well. I tell people that I question whether anyone actually lives near me because I can’t hear tvs, radios, people talking inside or out, music or anything . Even on weekends, during super bowl games, sports on tv, resident guests etc., you can hear a pin drop…It is quiet, pleasant and safe here and I love those aspects of this property. I have been here for many years and have experienced the safety in this community. I do not generally go out at nighttime but If I work late and drive into this community I feel safe regarding the neighbors and the neighborhood. I do look around as we all should, but if a neighbor arrives when I do, I usually know who they are due to the tenure of this property. This community is modern, clean, safe, quiet and friendly and I would recommend people to rent here and to stay a long time. I have been here for many years and will continue to reside here.

I can't say enough about the cleanliness of this property on a daily basis. The management has placed quality control for any trash, debris, compactor concerns, breezeways and parking lots. They have a company work at our community on a daily basis and pick up any trash that has been left in the parking lots, on the lawns, near the compactor, near the mailboxes and in breezeways and basically on the entire property and the continued awareness makes a huge difference. They also have a person clear any cobwebs, dust and anything else that may be on the breezeway walls which makes it absolutely marvelous to leave and come back to our homes. The property is not aged due to the upkeep and is not dated at all. Battleground North staff has recognized the difference this could make for our homes and has followed through with this aspect of maintenance. Thank you Battleground North, it says a lot for your awareness and management.

I have lived here since 2018 and was a little concerned at first when the office kept changing management and I could not get any response from the corporate office, but am so pleased they finally brought in Ricky. He and his newly formed team have been great to work with and now I don't have to worry about calling the corporate office because I am taken care of! Nice work guys. I will renew my lease when it expires.

I wish my husband and I had never moved here. The management never fixes anything. They didn't fix the entrance gate for months. Then when they did supposedly fix it they knew half the key cards would not work but turned the locked gate back on anyway. The key cards that previously worked did not work. Residents have been lined up outside of the gate at night on various nights. People have had to go through the exit gate to get in the apartments. This is dangerous and the result of improper and very poor management. I would strongly suggest looking somewhere else. Additionally, when you call matiance about this problem they just say they are the only ones recieving the call and they can't do anything. The definition of maintance is the process of maintaining or preserving someone or something, or the state of being maintained. The definition of maintance worker is defined as an individual who is responsible for the maintenance and repairof a single building or a group of buildings. So how is the person respnding to maitance phones incable and it not his problem? Again never live here it is a big mistake.

I recently went in to take a tour of this property after a phone call with a pleasant gentleman named Jay. He was very upbeat and made me feel compelled to take a look at this property. This was my 2nd visit after my previous visit in 2016. I was turned away from the unpleasant management at that time. When I arrived I met Jay...a young lady named Alyson and the property manager. These were all new faces compared to my last visit. They were all smiling, they had fresh baked cookies and water out for me!! LOL! When I came in Jay was stocking up some fresh cookies and Alyson was prepping the coffee! (Great Breakfast BTW!) Jay took my ID and got me all registered in his system. We went and took a look at 2 units; one was an unfinished unit that I was told was ready right now...the other was the model that was beautifully decorated. Jay told us about all the amenities and the walking trail; he even emphasized that he lived on the property which made me feel much better as a renter to know that someone who works there also lives there. To top it all off...this company also provides complimentary renter's insurance; AWESOME!! We have not applied as of yet as this is for my son who is going to college and his decision is final...but in my book....you all are top on the list and mom's rule trumps all!! :) Thanks to Jay... Whom I look forward to working with so much more to make my son's transition and mine an awesome experience!!

I've been here for going on 6 years and there has been a lot of changes. Both Maintenance people and Office management/employee has been switched out over time and it makes it hard to establish a relationship with them if there are new employees every year. The location is pretty convenient to most places (10 mins from Airport, 15 Mins from Friendly/Downtown) and is a very quiet, friendly community. They keep up the grounds very nicely. There is a trash compactor towards the entrance. Price is fair, however rates increase depending on the market every year. People that live here are generally very nice and will chat. The Cons: The thing I don't like about it is since there is no balcony, residents that live next to you will sit outside the door and smoke/hang out literally right in front of your door or on the staircase. Not a big deal to me, however some residents may find it irritating. Parking can be a pain if you go out on the weekend and come back at night or on Sunday night, so be prepared you may have to park in a spot a bit away. The Front Gates always break and a little while later will be fixed. I don't see the point in having the gate because everyone who isn't a resident or is lazy just tail gates or wait for a car and go through the exit, I almost got hit one night by someone zooming through the exit gate. They have installed a Camera to remedy this situation after someone struck the gate with their vehicle. Some people will speed through the community which is a problem because in the late afternoon/early evening there are children running through the apartments or riding their bikes to the playground. If this should happen, write down their license plates and send it straight to the front office to give them a warning, they are very quick to respond!

If you like quiet this is the place,i do not hear my neighbors above me or next door to me. This is a very energy efficient complex as well. A short walk on a paved path brings you to a coffee shop,grocery store,pizza,burgers hair salon,and a bank. Within walking or biking distance are lovely 40 miles of trails to hike,or mountain bike. Greenways abound here! Within a 10 min drive there are lakes were you can kayak,fish,or SUP. There is a 20 seat movie theater,refreshing pool,laundry facilities as well as washer dryer hook up in the apt. Gated community,with the office open 7 days a week. The office staff are friendly and try to get to know each resident. Some live right on site! I love living here.
Very nice neighborhood, quite, great location- There is a Walmart, Harris Teeter, Dollar Tree, a multitude of places to eat and shop for practically anything - shoes, cars, sports apparel and equipment for you children, there is a health food store, movie theatre. So why not the fifth star.... My garbage disposal still has not been fixed for about two months now. The staff here is great everyone is friendly and willing to work with you. Great place to stay for a while.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: New to communal living. If given a magic wand would create a community of ALL professionals who are like-minded in their living atmosphere. Dislike the occasional domestic drama outside corridors...usually brought about from visitors who may be seen as those with questionable character.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: I'm most satisfied with how well-insulated our apartment is; it's helped tremendously both by minimizing outside noise as well as improving our overall electricity use. The only complaint is how limited close parking can be during evening hours.
