Bay Manor Apartments

The apartment complex is quiet with great tenants! April the complex manager is extremely nice and if there is anything that needs to be fixed or looked at she makes sure it is done promptly! The other amazing employee is Chris he is the best maintenance guy around! He not only quickly fixes any problems he is also extremely nice and I trust him completely to enter my apartment when I'm not home to fix anything that needs to be done. I've lived at other apartment complexes that just don't care about anything except collecting rent. April & Chris are both great people and they go over and above their jobs!

My husband and I downsized in 2017 and moved to Bay Manor. He passed away in 2019 and I feel thankful to be in a well maintained apartment that is comfortable and cozy and has on site storage. It is convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, shopping and access to I 75. And very important to a single person, it is a safe complex. I have a dog and we have good walking options. Even when there is snow Chris is on top of shoveling and salting the parking lots and sidewalks promptly. April and Chris are a good team who strive to take good care of us residents and the complex. We do not have covered parking however our spaces.are large and fellow residents are careful how they park and that is appreciated.

Dear bay manor apartments, I enjoy my home here with you at baymanor apartments. It is comfortable, spacious, clean and inviting. I like all aspects about my place. I must because i have been here for 15 years. honestly the only thing that i don't like is the nosey old lady that lives above me who has been here longer than i have been. but i stay awy from her and the dramma and know there are lots of different personalities. i am planning on signing another lease. April and chris are great and have smiles on their faces no matter what kind of day they have had and are very helpful. Thank you for keeping the place well kept. My sister had just passed away from a car accident and she was my last family memeber that i had. I needed someone to talk to and the manager always has her door open. I peeked my head in her offic and she motioned me in. I spilled my guts to her, cried in front of her and just broke down. She is a comforting person to talk to and always seems to be there when nobody else is. It's nice that she makes time for her tenants and I greatly appreciate it. Going on my second year living here and its peaceful. The rooms are cute for my boyfriend and I. Nobody bothers you. April is words I can't even describe. She's super nice and will help you as much as she can. She's like a second Mom (: She makes you feel at home.

April and Chris are excellent to work with, clean apartments and during the winter the parking lot was always cleared as quickly as possible. I would recommend to anyone looking for a place in Bay City.

I want to sincerely thank the manager and staff at Bay Manor Apartments, I am a single gal living at this complex and I was scared to live on my own after a pretty horrible divorce. When i moved in April assured me that if anyone comes around looking for me that she would not give any information. She stuck to that promise and my ex came around asking about me and if I lived here. He was pretty forceful to but she didn't budge or give any leeway. She is a woman of her word and I feel very safe living here. She told me that maintenance has the description of the ex husband and to keep an eye out to. I am going on 2 years now and remain happy and safe. thank you guys for helping me feel at ease and keeping the creeeeeeeps away :-) D

Left in 2005 for a job out of state and after my contract ended I came back to Michigan in 2016. I looked forever for a place in Saginaw, Midland, Etc. and I thought to myself why not come back here. I liked it, it felt like home, it's a cool place - there is a very nice lady in the office now and shes been there a few years. The maintenance works hard and stuff gets done. Moved in 2015 and left to get married, moved back in early 2018 due to a divorce and April was still there managing the joint and the place is better kept than ever! They are slowly replacing windows, the grounds are well maintained, halls are painted, new countertops and other goodies happening. My gut told me that I never should have left in the first place but now I'm happy to say that I am back for good. Why not? Everything gets taken care of. Chris the maintenance guy is great and April the manager welcomed me back. Glad to be back home!

So my partner and I have split up and I needed a place stat - Every place I looked at was as small as a broom closet and they wanted an arm and a leg. Found a 2 bedroom that was 900 square feet and the manager here was so sympathetic to my situation. I had to wait a couple of months to get in cause they were booked but it's been the best decision and worth the wait. Thank you for everything and all of your help K D

Michigan is much different than Cali. People are so nice here and the apartments are so much less expensive and huge! I have a 2 bedroom here for less than the cost of a studio in Cali. Apartment is great, have a office to do my school work and a monstrous living room to set up my gaming equipment. Tool man takes care of any issues quick - talking the same day. Manager, is cool and down to earth and tells ya like it is. Look forward to staying here till my school is done. Timmy S.

Just moved in from Montana to teach at the school down the road and am very pleased with my 2 bedroom apartment. All the neighbors are really nice and the apartment for being older is also pretty nice and I'm rather impressed. I wanted the apartment sight un seen and was a bit nervous but April was very helpful and set my mind at ease so I went with my gut and I'm glad I have. Thank you April for being so very kind and informative during my long move from Montana to Michigan.

Went thru a horrible divorce and the ex got everything. I needed a decent apartment to lay my head for a couple of years and came cross bay manor. I had no idea how big this place was until I was shown an apartment. I was going thru a really tough time and the manager was very welcoming and seems to care about all her tenants. I filled out an app on the spot and got her everything needed to qualify for the background / credit check. Upon leaving she gave me a hug and said that everything will be ok. From that moment on, I knew I would be ok. That was 3 years ago and I am still here and very happy. If you are looking for a nice complex with staff that actually care, then this is the right place. Oh ya! My one bedroom apartment is perfect for myself and my fishy. Right next to Kroger & Big Lots, it's pretty convenient. New carpet, new blinds, new paint & sparkling white! I totally dig my new apartment! Met the maintenance guy Chris, he's pretty funny & the leasing lady April, knows her stuff. Felt like family the moment I walked onto the grounds. Ya, I'm not going anywhere soon.

I work long hours at the local hospital so when I come home I want to relax as quickly as possible. I saw something that was one for the books that I have never in my life seen. It snowed quite a bit here in Bay City and I saw the property manager out helping her staff which is can I say AWESOME. Everyother place that I have lived at prior to this the manager just sat on their buts but not her. She was working just as hard as her staff and then afterwords they did snow angels. Well, the staff here are all angels and I brag about my apartment whenever I can because it's so welcoming and safe. Thank you Bay Manor Staff for all that you do for us. I don't think that you get thanked enough!

It's a really nice place and the rent isn't that bad, it's a great location. I'm close to my sons now and enjoy the visits from grandkids. Christmas this year is going to be very special for me because I used to live over 1500 miles away from everyone that I loved but now I'm less than 3 miles away from the ones I care about the most. The staff here are very thorough and care about all aspects of the complex as it is well maintained. I really like my apartment and am happy here.

I live alone so money is sometimes a bit tight which is to be expected I guess. I work 2 jobs to pay my bills but never seem to find the time to change my stupid light bulbs in my apartment. As luck would have it, Bay Manor hooked up with the local energy company and we all got free light bulbs which is AWESOME! They are so nice here. My neighbors were very helpful when I was not able to come home and let my baby puppy out to go to the bathroom. The location is pretty sweet and next to Applebees "my fave". The staff are always wonderful and pleasant no matter the issue and the manager is the mom I wish I had. Dude - this place rocks. Been here 5 years now and looking forward to many more. I moved here from Oklahoma for work and to continue my schooling for my field. I wanted a new job and April was kind enough to take my resume' and update it to a better format. She revamped my resume' and gave me a awesome cover letter. I got the job! I was so excited I rushed into the office even though she was on the phone and gave her a huge hug. Thank you April for being so kind and really caring about your tenants here. She also introduced me to a couple other tenants so now I at least know someone here. Thank you for everything. Trin

Man, this place is perfect. Close to school and work. Well kept grounds. Nice staff. All around good place. Recommended my brother here and he moves in later this week on the other side of the complex. T/T

I have been trying forever to get into this place because it's right in the middle of town and close to my work and family. The manager and I email all the time but every time she emails me about a new opening it's gone the next day before I can get in. I finally put down a deposit (something she recommended I do a long time ago to reserve one) but I didn't listen. Signed my lease today and I am a happy camper! This is the happening complex to be at. Dude, Really, you can't get closer to everything than this place. Apartment is great, really clean and nice. You rock April, thanks for getting me in, I should have listened to you a while ago, that's my bad.

Look, we all know not to park out front of the office when the office is open because there is only 3 spots out there. You would think that this would be common sense, but for some, not so much. I was sitting out on my deck this morning smoking when the manager pulled in at 8:12ish. There was a trashy blue van sitting in one of the 3 spots. So like any nosey neighbor I sat and watched. At 8:35 staff came out and checked it out. Well, I knew that it was sitting out there all night and it had been there obviously before because there was already a sticker on the drivers window. I love it! They came out and slapped another tow sticker on the drivers window. So after they went back in, I went down to check my mail which happens to be in that area and took a look at the bright green sticker "tow at noon"!!! YA, rock on. Look if you can't follow the rules where you live, even as simple as they may be, then get out. Weird thing is later that morning I went down to talk to the manager about a broken closet door handle and while talking I noticed some grease on my hands and was in the office bathroom washing it off, came out and in flies, in front of my face the green tow sticker, crumpled up and the girl who owned the van telling the manager to xxxxx. Without flinching, AB calmly said have a nice day and kept typing. Wow dude. Follow the rules and you won't have to worry about your van getting towed. Maybe it should be towed that way it won't be affiliated with our nice complex. Dude, I love it here and staff here are great and keep it safe & clean. Keep rocking it out!

Never thought I would find an apartment like this. Close to work, grocery store, furniture store, bank and entertainment! I have cut down on my monthly expenses and am actually able to save money because everything is in walking distance - just across the parking lot - AWESOME! I don't have any maintenance expenses, everything is taken care of and I could not ask for anything better than that. Sold my house and have no worries in the world, except for to feed my cat of course. The manager takes care and makes sure that all tenants are happy with the place and does new things around here when able. I gotta give her kudos cause there is no way I could do what she does. The maintenance dude knows his job very well and keeps the place looking good. I feel sorry for him though, he walks around every morning and picks up trash that has either blown into the yard or is dropped by someone. People really need to clean up after themselves and stop being such slobs. When I moved in I did my du diligence and researched the place and saw many positive things being done to make this place a home for everyone and I'm glad they do background checks because I don't want to live next to a criminal or someone dangerous. They are also not income based which brings in a different caliber of renters I think. Which is GREAT! Good job guys / Keep it up!

Moved here from Georgia a bit ago to start up my new law firm and landed here at Bay Manor / Bay City, MI. It's really a nice place, nice carpet, huge rooms and a great staff. I was originally looking for a home but then started thinking of the upkeep prices and possible items that could go wrong and decided that I'd better stick with an apartment. I work over 55 hours each week and don't have to worry about anything because it's all taken care of, which is one less thing on my mind. I have been living here for over 6 years and must be happy because I'm still here and I'm kinda hard to please. I recommended this place to one of my partners and after a rigorous background check is now living about 7 doors down from me and I received a $200.00 referral bonus which is a nice little perk. I'm a little late writing my review but ok here it goes... So, I moved into Bay Manor-Bay City from New York about 4 months ago. The location is great because it's close to the store I bought and my family is near by. My daughter and I really like our apartment. I actually stopped here first when I was looking for a place to call home and everything just seemed to fall into place. The complex manager was very inviting and extremely informative and although my daughter was being a little hellion this day, April still had on a smile and never skipped a beat! The phone was ringing (she turned it down), her door was being knocked on but yet never faltered. She apologized for the potential interruptions but explained to me that when she is with someone that all attention goes to her guest. Now that is professionalism at 110%! I was shown a one bedroom because there was not a two bedroom open yet but at least I got to see an example. I was very surprised when I was told that the heat was free yet very happy about it, being a guy I kinda like it cool but my daughter on the other hand likes it overly warm. This complex is old, yes but is being well kept. It's a pretty good deal for being in the city. All the basements were rehabbed nice & bright & clean and I am told that other things will be happening money allowing of course. Overall we are happy here. I have only been here for a few months and don't have any close buddies to speak of but as soon as I get to meet people I will pass on this complexes name.

Moved here from the UP for work and boy what a nice change. I have my own place away from my ex husband, am close to work and I get to see my family. I could not ask for anything better. I have a 2 bedroom apartment all to myself and my golf fish. I was unsure of where to start looking for a new place so I hopped online and made my list. I visited, probably 6 or 7 complexes and really wasn't impressed by any of them. I found one in the city of Essexville but was not really impressed but if I had to settle I would settle for that one. My last stop was Bay Manor and it should have been my first! I was greeted by the Manager with a smile and a hand shake, she even stood up which is more than I can say from the other places. I sat down and we had discussed my options. I had originally came in, in search of a one bedroom but I was offered a two bedroom because that was all that was available at that time. I viewed the apartment, filled out the application, was approved and I signed for the apartment the next day. I was kinda worried about the move but it went very smoothly. I have read some horrible reviews about this place but they are all old so I didn't take those into consideration but the positive ones, I totally agree with! April our Manager is wonderful and caters to the tenants needs and is a very positive person. I really have not had any maintenance issues to speak of so I have only met Terry twice but he gets the job done which is more that I could say for the previous maintenance people. I moved in around June of 2015 and have had a happy existence here. So far I have recommended this place to 4 of my co workers and 2 of them now live here. It's a nice place! B. Schabel

I have lived here for almost 13 years now and the summer in Bay City is always so nice. Lots to do around this town. I soon will be able to open up my windows and enjoy the summer warm air. My apartment over looks a well groomed court yard with beautiful trees, nice landscaping and the American Flag always flying. I reside in a rather large corner apartment that is more than enough room for myself and my cat. If I have an issue I just call down to the front office and April will send Terry up to fix what ever is broken. I am sincerely happy in this place and I truly plan on staying here for quite a long time. Why would I go anywhere else, everything is taken care of for me. Over the years there have been many different managers and other staff that have come and gone and I knew that one day they would get the right staff and I really believe that it has finally happened. The existing staff have both been here for, I think going on 3 years now and there have been many changes but for the better. Miss April is the manager and I have no idea how she keeps up with 97 apartments but she manages this small city with grace. Terry handles all of the maintenance and again, I have no idea how he keeps up with all of us. They seem to work well as a team and I hope they both stay for many years to come or at least until it's time for me to be put in an old folks home. I witnessed something never before seen at an apartment complex. I was doing dishes yesterday and happened to catch the manager and maintenance sprinting across the courtyard with April on the phone. They rushed into an apartment, so, ok, I'm a bit nosey so I watched and before long some paramedics arrived and took the tenant by ambulance. After all that hub-bub was done I walked outside and asked another tenant what had happened. Well, turns out that any time this tenant is in health distress they contact the office before 911 because April and Terry will always get there before other help arrives and she will always call 911 while running to assist. Talk about awesome! It was an eye opening experience and really shows the amount of care that the staff here give the tenants and they have my respect for that. Good Job Guys! Beth S.

Well, Ok. Here's the story. Parents are making me attend Delta and get an apartment cause they say it's time for me to fly the coop. I was scared to say the least because I'm a young gal with no life experience yet and didn't have a clue what was out there. So I started looking at different places to rent. Everyplace that I stopped by was rude as rude could get, then I walked into bay manor and as scared as I was April explained everything to me in detail and for ONCE I didn't feel scared anymore. She was 100 percent rented but still she took the time to sit and talk with me. Every question that I had was answered - she looks you in the eye which is a good thing and immediately shook my hand when I walked in and asked if I wanted to sit down. Granted, my heart was racing but I became very comfortable. She told me about one that was opening up soon and made sure that I had all the info that I needed. I came back the next day with mom and dad and they liked the complex so much they put a deposit down for me and low and behold that apartment she told me about actually opened up a couple weeks earlier - so I moved in. This was the greatest decision that I was forced by my parents to make! I love love love my apartment and anyone that says any different needs to leave. Maintenance always fixes any problem quickly and the Manager is awesome. It's quiet, next to everything and Delta is about 15 minutes from me. I made this decision 3 months ago and I've been happy to call bay manor home ever since!

I moved from out of state for work and signed my lease without even seeing the apartment. I looked for months when I lived down in Texas and I swear called every complex in Bay City, Saginaw and Midland areas. When I contacted Bay Manor, I was greeted by a friendly, easy talking person and even though she didn't have one open that one would be coming open. April explained everything to me and after our conversation I was sold. She emailed me the application and I sent her a deposit to hold the next one coming open - One or Two Bedroom I didn't care. We corresponded at least twice a week for two months and one finally opened. My house was already sold at this point and I drove up there with my belongings right away. With much professionalism April assisted me with the lease/she handed me the keys with a smile and I went to take a look at the place that we had spoken of. Two Bedroom and perfect. She assured me that she would never move someone into an apartment that she would not live in herself and she was right. I am happy at my new job at Dow and I am happy with my new place. Thank you for all that you had done!

My elderly wife and I have lived here since 1994 and have seen many different managers but by far we now have the best. Maintenance and Manager swing by on occasion to make sure the wife and I are doing well which makes us feel good to know that they care about the tenants. When it's dark I sometimes see the manager drive through the parking lot to make sure that everything is as it should be and that makes us feel safe. We love our little corner of the world and the neighbors are so nice and helpful.

I absolutely love the upgrades Management & Maintenance are doing, glad we have a staff that care about us and treat us like family. Just signed another year lease --- Holiday Window Contest is so cool!!!

My apartment is perfect. It is a great place to live and management is doing some cool upgrades and making this joint pretty nice. Maintenance got my issue resolved quickly and Management handles her business. I see after they made a change in staff the quality of tenants started going up and scum bags were down. Looking Great Guys! Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing the next round of upgrades. Been here since 2013 and with my new lease April gave me a choice of new kitchen counter tops or a free carpet cleaning once my new lease is signed - I guess it's a new thing starting this month. Awesome!!! I recommend this place to anyone whom wants to live in a quiet place in the city.

Worst apartment building that you could ever move into. The Landlord is a warden who walks around the apartments looking for things to fine you for. She records you, and she invades your privacy by walking to your apartments and looking through windows. and if you enjoy a apartment that has mold all over the windows then this is the one for you! they over charge and then expect you to sign another lease but wait they raise rent 60 dollars so tell me why should i sign another lease for a higher payment amount. dont move here we are celebrating the day the lease ends. Along with many of our other neighbors.

Beautiful apartments, very very happy here. I have been residing here for over 3 years and do not have one complaint. Maintenance is on top of it and Management is wonderful. I look forward to signing on for another year.
