Surrounded on three sides by water, Bayonne is connected to Staten Island by the Bayonne Bridge and facing Queens to the east and Newark to the west. While historically a city built upon shipping and industry, the local economy now leans more heavily on healthcare, with the Bayonne Medical Center serving as the largest local employer. Broadway serves as the main commercial corridor of the city, flanked on either side by residential neighborhoods.
The housing market incorporates a wide selection of historic apartment buildings and charming single-family homes; while rental rates can be a bit steep, they are quite competitive for the New York area, which has drawn commuters who seek close access to the city without the exorbitant cost of living. Bayonne also benefits from a very low crime rate, boosting the appeal for folks seeking a quieter home environment than the Big Apple can offer.

Property Ratings at Bay One
I love living here! It's like living in a hotel every day. The gym is incredibly, probably a top priority for me. And the views are amazing. Very excited to get to the rooftop in warmer weather and make use of all the wonderful spaces in the building.
Have been living at Bay One resident about 15 months and I love my apartment and very satisfied.
Nice place to live , friendly staff , new gym, but lacks 24 hour concierge service and sometimes other tenants park in your rented parking space which is an issue.
While the building, amenity spaces and overall building are amazing - there is more that can be done for security, communication, transparency and convenience.
Bay One is simply amazing! From the start, the staff here bent over backwards to help coordinate my lease, and move-in. Since moving in, the entire building staff has been warm, friendly and overly accommodating. Rebecca, Katelyn, and Craig has made me feel so welcome here, and have been super-responsive in responding to any and all questions I have had during my time here. The building and amenities are immaculate, the other residents are incredibly friendly, and this feels like a real community. In fact, the building recently organized a BBQ event with food, drinks and music, and it felt like a vacation. I already intend to extend my lease, and I definitely recommend this building to anyone who is interested.
Bay One/ Greystar Maintenance Staff has got to be the best in the business!
