Saginaw is a Central Michigan community with lots of comforting conveniences. Once a prospering lumber town, it soon became a thriving car manufacturing center until arriving at clean energy innovation and production.
Served by two local colleges (Delta College and Saginaw Valley State University), residents and students alike enjoy its focus on academics. Downtown Saginaw is the area’s entertainment district – the local symphony performs regular concerts at Temple Theatre.
Just minutes from their apartments, residents enjoy the community’s farmers market for seasonal flowers, produce, and baked goods. Locals have direct access to Interstates 75 and 675, golf courses, Hoyt Park’s zoo, and Fashion Square Mall. Spirit is a local sports team that belongs to the Ontario Hockey League and plays at Dow Event Center.

Property Ratings at Baypointe Apartments
Don’t move in Baypointe you going to regret it. They so two faced, will lie in your face do you so grimey. They very money hungry and will find something little to take you to court to get money off you. They so unprofessional, unorganized and the maintenances people very lazy and disrespectful they will bust in your apartment with no notice. The maintenance people don’t fix nothing y’all better off getting a house. The washer and dryer machine always breaking down the place have a lot of bugs (Spiders, Bed Bugs, Roaches and etc….). Baypointe don’t have NOTHING no pool, playground, gym just bugs, apartments, potholes and lazy workers. DON’T MOVE IN THERE…..I rate Baypointe 0 they so sneaky and liars something going on in Baypointe
Property managers lie and are two-faced. Regional manager does nothing. Maintenance rarely fixes anything correctly. Bug and flooding in laundry area. Advertise 2 washers and dryers in each side of the building but you’re lucky if you get one of each to work and when you complain you’re told it’s a curtesy and not an actual lease item. Shower tiles will fall on you mid-shower. Balconies are unsafe due to disrepair (promised to fix 3yrs ago when i moved in). Building is always dirty. Won’t enforce any rules including marijuana smells, combative residents, or significant noise concerns. Adding water monthly so you pay $30 for single, $40 double, and $50 3-bed regardless of actual number of residents or your usage. Heaters and AC break every year. If it can break, it will and they will maybe put a bandaid on it. Managers claim they never know something is broken but you and others will have been telling them for months. When you take it to the regional manager she pretends to care just enough to get you off the call. You can record video to show maintenance the issue and they will still call you a liar. If i could afford to move i would. They know people are stuck and letting this place go to crap.
There is new management this year and its awful. There entire strategy is too do as little as possible and spend as little as possible. You have to call them multiple times or barge into their office to get them to do something as simple as clean the common areas. ROACHES, BED BUGS, & RODENTS There is currently an infestation in some of the buildings, and management refuses to do ANYTHING. They sent over exterminators to check it out and then after seeing how much it would cost them told every tenant that it was THEIR responsibility to pay for their units extermination if they want it. So the state of these buildings are absolutely disgusting and because no one can afford to do that, its only going to spread to the other units and other buildings. Its disgusting. They never clean the hallways. I mean never. They don't even check. Sometimes there is puke, sometimes beer stains, food on the carpet, sometimes people leave their trash in the hallway; their literal kitchen trash bags. If anyone is loud management doesn't care. Their official policy is just call the police. If you have any problem with any tenant just let armed men handle it. It used to be tolerable when Rose was here. She was a sweet old lady who seemed to really care about the people who lived here, and now its just business people who want to cut costs and do as little as possible while continuing to jack up the rent every year.
I have bugs in my apartment I’m very clean. (Roaches )When I call about problems in my apartment I get the excuse that there behind. I ready to move when my lease is over .Also they don’t vacuum the hallway often and the walls in the hall or horrible it’s either dirty or crumbling off the wall
I've lived in multiple apartments in this area and I have to say that this apartment is by far the best. I've had a great experience here, not only with the neighbors and maintenance, but the managers too! I definitely recommend this place esp. if youre looking for a cheaper alternative.
They changed management. The buildings are a mess. They have lots some many people’s money orders. Washer and dryers are always going out and it’s takes months for them to fix them.
Property Manager at Baypointe Apartments, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your feed back. Our residents are very important to us and I apologize for your negative experience. We have many policies and safe guards in place to avoid losing or misplacing money orders or checks. Please contact the Manager's office so we may review your ledger. As for the washers and dryers not working, our washers and dryers do receive a lot of use and it has been a challenge to get parts due to back orders. However, we do have an excellent washer and dryer repair service person on site and manages the repairs very successfully. Again, please contact the office to discuss your ledger issues. We are always more than happy to help our residents resolve any issues they experience. Thank you again, and have a great day!
I really like my apartment and my neighbors. Everyone is pleasant and kind. The only complaint I have is THE SCAFFOLDING surrounding my building. For the last three months or so my apartment building has been covered in scaffolding from the crew that is supposed to be putting new siding up. The crew doing this "work" is obviously a scab crew of individual workers. Three weeks might go by and nobody ever shows up to work on this project. Then one morning, maybe two or three guys will show up in a rusted out pick up, set up their equipment which takes about half an hour, climb up on the scaffolding, bang their little hammers for about 20 minutes, then they pack everything up again and leave. Maybe three weeks later this process will repeat itself. In the meantime, there the luminous scaffolding stands. Engulfing my building. There have been evenings when kids have been climbing around on it. God forbid one of them might fall and get hurt. Who would be liable? These kids, or anyone else for that matter, have complete access to my balcony. When I leave home, I'm paranoid that I might have forgot to lock my balcony door. Who would be liable if someone enters my apartment via the scaffolding engulfing my balcony? At the rate these workers are progressing on the siding, as well as the workers that are putting new roofing on the buildings, there's NO way they'll finish this Summer. Maybe Summer of 2026. I really like my apartment and neighbors, but looking out my windows every day and seeing nothing but a yellow jungle gym surrounding me with nobody ever working is really getting to be a major pain!
I have been here for more than a year and i like it. The people are really amazing and very quite environment. Well managed parking area. its clean and well maintained. very quick response and service to problem within the house. Rose is such a nice lady she's makes sure anything that needs fixed in your apartment is done right away. Very good and Homely Environment to be.
I been here for only couple of months and i love it. When i had a small problem they came in just 2 hours they was so quick to fix it thats what im talking about. im looking foward to be here for a long time. the best part part about is the rent is great price.,
Me and my wife love it here we been since February 2017 the mangers are very nice. John and his mother Rose Mary help us to get our first apartment together as a young couple. we want to thank them so much for helping us out.
I love my apartment complex!!!! The people are amazing it's really quiet, which I love. Rose is such a nice lady she's makes sure anything that needs fixed in your apartment is done right away. The apartments aren't up to date as I would like them to be but there's no other place I'll rather live.
