Property Ratings at Bayview Estates
This was my ABSOLUTE favorite place to live! Management was great, never had to worry about anything. I regret leaving.
Apartments are very affordable compared to other places in Greenbay …Kate always was very nice and helped me with my dog being able to stay…can’t find many places with heat water internet and cable included in rent !!
The landlord is very hard to get along with. She always thinks she is right, and she will plain out disrespect you. If you don’t pray on the ground she walks on, then good luck. She’s not reliable, very money hungry, and super unorganized. Please please please keep records of EVERYTHING (emails, voice calls , rent payments, contracts) because she WILL over charge you if she can. Stay aware. The apartments themselves aren’t any better. The walls are so thin, you can heard your neighbors talking. There is horrible ventilation, so mold grows easily. Then end up painting over it instead of cleaning it too. We have dogs and they sprayed pesticide outside; they didn’t put up any warnings, so our dogs and our neighbors got red rashes. The spider problem is absolutely horrible!! They show up in all shapes and sizes, I swear. Maintenance will not fix anything unless you say it’s an emergency. With how the apartments are set up, you are not guaranteed a garage. There's a waiting list, so that sucked. We had a two-bedroom apartment and only one parking space with no garage. The only reason why I am giving them a 2 star review is because of what was included with the rent; all we had to pay for was electricity. They also offered free internet, but it honestly sucks. The fact that they allowed dogs and cats was a plus, and so was a dishwasher. You can probably find better.
I moved to Bayview Estates from Appleton and don’t have anything bad to say about this place. The apartments are very spacious, the appliances are updated, and the community is quiet. Never had an issue with parking (I had a garage and an assigned spot), never had an issue with snow removal (the maintenance crew is always very prompt) never had an issue with repairs (the maintenance crew is always prompt) nor have I ever had an issue with the property manager Kate. Whenever I called she was always very helpful and fast with getting me answers. The location is GREAT too. It’s right down the road from a couple grocery stores, within minutes of shopping/gas stations, and most importantly easily accessible from the highway. Great location for college kids too, as it’s right down the road from the University. Lawn care is always very thorough and they don’t have an issue with dogs/cats. Overall I would say this is a great place to live!
I have never lived in such a horrible place at here. i would never suggest anyone to move into these apartments. They have a "25 lb" weight limit on dogs but whrn you walk out of your apartment youre greeted by pitbulls and boxers. The apartment manager is horrible. the only reason I gave them one star is because the maintenance man Brad tries his hardest to fix the run down apartments. but he unfortunately is over worked and under appreciated by the manager. Thr manager doesny know how to keep track of her lies and gow much your rent is even if its stated in your lease.
I have lived in these apartments for over a year and have had only good experiences. The maitenance guy Brad was always super helpful and took care of things quickly when we needed them to be done and our landlord Kate was always very friendly and willing to answer questions. The apartment itself was very spacious and all amenities worked great or were fixed soon after I made mention of it to Brad. In the winter, the parking lot was always taken care of as soon as possible and there was good communication via text as to when cars needed to be moved. Overall my experience here at Bayview estates was wonderful and I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone looking!
Maintenance is awful, Kate has been unwilling to help residents, and snow removal is terrible if you want to leave in the morning. If you want something fixed, it’s better to do it yourself. If something doesn’t work right, it’s your fault and Brad and Kate will blame you for it. Go to the Shores or Triangle Hills if you want a better place to live. It was a mistake moving here.
Snow removal policy is not the best. You are to remove your car when they are going to plow which they let you know sometimes and sometimes they don't. They plow the parking lot when they are free. If you don't remove your car, you will get a ticket. They expect you to move your car even if you are out of town. They don't salt the parking lot also.
Lived here 4 1/2 years. My neighbors were great & so was the management. Friendly & caring. When I had any apartment issues that needed to be addressed, they were taken care of in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this place & would come back if I ever needed an apartment again.
I lived here from 2016-2017. It was a great place to live. Moving in and moving out was super easy. Got most of my deposit back withib 2 weeks! My neighbors were quiet and nice, and my cats were allowed. If i didnt get a different job i wouldn't have left.
I have lived here for many years and have no intention of moving anytime soon. Kate the property manager is knowledgeable and a delight to interact with. She resolves property issues quickly and decisively. On site maintenance is a big plus!! I thoroughly enjoy my apartment,
Complex is situated in an ideal location near UWGB & hwy 43. The quiet is golden, and sturdy walls are so worth it! Pet friendly at this price is impossible to find. Only 4 units to an entry, adding to the privacy. Management is making positive changes & willing to always listen. Bayview Estates is diverse enough to welcome all, students, & small families looking for a safe, comfortable place to call home.
Large apartments, recently renovated between tenants. New carpet and appliances. Management is quick to respond when needed and always helpful.
This is a great place to live. There are walking/hiking trails nearby in a beautiful wooded area. Only a short distance to shopping and restaurants. The apartments are a good size ( I have a family of 6 including me and my husband) there is more then enough living space for all of us. The management is great. Although it can be a bit noisy with traffic from the main road and from the highway behind our building, the community makes up for it.
The apartment that we have isn't one of the nicest ones that they have at the complex but we have a cat and a dog so I'm sure that's why they gave us an apartment with noticeable stains in the carpet. These apartments are low cost, which is nice, and it's fairly roomy for a 2 bedroom apartment which includes a nice size storage room as well. There is a sliding glass door off the kitchen area which has a small porch with a grassy area that we use every day for our dog. We got lucky and are on the corner of our building so we have a bit more "yard" than others, which is very nice for us since our dog is 50 lbs and is very high energy. At this point in our lives though we would really like more privacy as well as more room inside and out, so the next time that we move we would like to rent a duplex/home or hopefully buy a home of our own.
The snow removal is rarely done and when it is nothing is ever salted so it's always icy in the parking lots. They won't fix anything unless you call repetitively. Property is poorly maintained. Walls have some sort of mold the reoccurs. Over priced, not worth the stress
Property Manager at Bayview Estates, Responded To This Review
Snow removal was contracted out at this time; since then, we've purchased our own skidsteer to have more control as to when plowing can be done. Ice melt can only do so much in Wisconsin weather, although we use at least 3 pallets (each pallet has 50 50# bags) per season. Maintenance is done on a priority basis. Mildew occurs on window areas and bathrooms when not properly ventilated or properly cleaned.
I have lived here for 12 years. The management is fair. Emergency repairs are done quickly, but routine repairs can drag on a bit. The residents are screened well enough, so there are few problems with the neighbors. Cats and dogs are welcome. Its a quite area.
