National publications constantly place Pittsburgh near the top of the list for most livable cities in America, and it’s easy to see why. The city has a rich history as an industrial and economic hub, which led to the construction of many grand buildings and public sculptures which still stand today. Downtown in particular is rich with beautifully preserved buildings and lush public parks dating back well over a century, giving the entire community a timeless atmosphere.
Pittsburgh is split into three sections by the rivers passing through the city: Downtown (a.k.a. “The Golden Triangle), the North Side, and the South Side. Each has its fair share of attractions and landmarks: the North Side is home to Acrisure Stadium and PNC Park (making it a perfect area for sports fans), the South Side features big, beautiful greenways and refurbished steel mills, and Downtown is where you’ll find the most variety in dining, nightlife, and entertainment.

Property Ratings at Baywood
If i could give this management company negative stars i would. Moved into their “luxury” apartments about a year ago and quickly discovered they were anything but that. The floors are cheap laminate that squeaks every time you step on it, used to think it was just my unit until i toured another residents unit and discovered their entire unit also squeaked. The urine problem… not something i thought i would ever type but here we are. The entire building smells like urine, except of Fridays, the one day of the week they actually hire someone to come clean the building. Which you would think would be a daily occurrence when you look at what they charge for these apartments. Finally, if you are looking for a management company that cares about the safety of their residents, this is not the company for you. I requested to be allowed to use one of their gated-in grass area (they have two inside the property) to relieve my service animals, as i felt unsafe outside the gates, specially at night. Their response? No. Find somewhere outside the gates you do feel comfortable at. As someone living with a violent trauma related disability, i have never been made to feel less human. If you are looking for an apartment, specially if you're considering paying a good amount for a “luxury” apartment. Do yourself a favor and keep looking, cause this is not the company for you.
Lived here for half a year now, very little to complain about. Property is in a great location, I have had no problems with bugs, maintenance is friendly and quick to respond to issues, and the rent is at a great price. Only problems of note are that the mailbox area is tiny and the mail people often toss packages into the yard or on the sidewalk, heating and AC are not central so it's difficult to get uniform temps throughout the apartment, and kitchen space is a bit limited. All in all, I am super happy to live here and recommend them highly!! Best apartment I have ever rented.
