I’ve been living at Be DTLA for two years now, and I couldn’t be happier! The staff here are incredibly friendly, which adds such a welcoming vibe to the community. The common areas are always clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciate. The neighborhood is also great—conveniently close to essentials like a grocery store, Starbucks, and Chipotle, making day-to-day life so much easier. Highly recommend for anyone considering DTLA!!!
The facility is great for those looking to stay and explore Los Angeles with a reasonable lease. The studio outline is decent with some things wished to be desired such as pre-installed internet. The rate for some amenities are fantastic as you save $25 on internet, parking costs less than most apartments, and the water and power payments are done through Be DTLA. The gym is reasonable with some highly professional equipment. For those who like to workout with essentials, this is the gym for you! The pool is small but mostly unoccupied for those who do not like large crowds. The accessibility to restaurants, market, and a dentist office are convenient.
Aside from the beautiful community and its amenities they have thee BEST office and maintenance team. Going for my 4th year living here.
BeDTLA is a nice community with helpful staff that maintain a nice attitude and help with packages, parking, etc. The complex is conveniently located and has some nice amenities.

My application for BE DTLA was submitted immediately after the apartment tour. Emily has been a great help when I was going through the application and moving process. She is a good listener and understands my concerns, as well as tries to meet my needs. Emily is very considerate, supportive, and responsive. Having Emily help me find a new home was a pleasure! I would highly recommend working with her. I've had a great experience living at BE DTLA so far. My unit comes in a great and clean condition. The community keeps its common areas clean and the neighborhood is quiet during the day and at night. I love the rooftop and the WFH area. The leasing office and the maintenance/security team are all friendly and professional. It is easy to reach them and they respond quickly! A big plus is that they occasionally host fun community events. The most recent one I joined, the "Casino Night" was incredible. There were DJs, catering, fun games, and decent prizes. It was an awesome vibe among friendly residents. A fun night with everything you could want! I appreciate their effort to put together a gathering like this for residents to enjoy and connect. Can't wait to join the next one!
Staff are very prompt to response to maintenance issues, even minor requests like fixing lightbulbs or the heat in the pool. I appreciate all the good work and that the building is kept in such good repair.

The amenities are great, fitness center, yoga studio, work from home studio, pool/pool house and pet park. I was surprised how quickly and professionally the office handles outstanding questions. The maintenance team led by Jesse, Mario and Jose works beautifully and always a quick turn around on work orders. Looks like Alan is running this place perfectly. I am super glad to live here. it truly is a hidden gem in downtown part of Los Angeles. I am really looking forward to next resident event!

Be DTLa is an oasis in the middle of an active dowmtown. Its safe, centrally located and has bountiful amenities, bowever this is nott the reason we love Be DTLA. The WELLNESS cert is something that management and ownership follow up with and is truly unique it made us more aware of own health and pursue lifestyles that would result in successful outcomes much easier. Living here we battled cancer and COVID and turned our lives around.
Love living here. Jose always takes care of my maintenance needs. He just fixed my tub and smoke alarm for me. Office is very helpful.
Best place in LA to establish yourself within a fun community.

Been living here for six months and there’s been over 3 fire alarms that go off in the middle of the night and that last a few hours. They also had planned 2 full day fire alarm drills in the winter time while it was raining. This was an extremely disruptive and inconsiderate of the building to plan it during the winter especially for those who got sick and had nowhere to go and had to listen to fire alarms for 16 hours. I have also seen homeless people inside the building on several occasions and felt extremely unsafe living here. The building has nice amenities and the apartment is brand new but given the constant fire alarms and safety concerns, and how much you’re paying in rent, this place is not worth it.

The maintenance team is wonderful. Very quick to respond to the (very few) times Ive had an issue. The twice yearly inspections are always done to ensure everything is up to code. Excellent service.

BE DTLA is a great community to become a resident of. The complex is in a safe area of downtown LA, has 24/7 security, and requires resident keys to enter any floor of the complex. You truly hardly have to leave your apt. with a grocery store, chipotle, Starbucks, and home office area all at your fingertips if you press the right button on the elevator. If you havent guessed by now I rate BE DTLA 10/10!
Great place if DTLA is your the area you wish to live. Be DTLA is LA's best kept secret you can literally live a healthy lifestyle without leaving the community even for groceries or coffee.
Thank so much for the quick response to my clogged garbage disposal. Maintenance staff were so tidy in making the repairs that I wouldnt have known they had been there if they hadnt left a note!

- Not safe - Incompetent staff On 6/18/2021, a previous tenant of my unit came by and asked property staff to retrieve their package because he/she said it was delivered to my mailbox by accident. After the property staff declined that request, somehow he/she snuck into the property mailroom later that day and broke my mailbox open with some sort of tool. He/she severely damaged my mailbox and took everything that was in there, including an expensive package I was expecting. I was not notified about this by the property manager but instead found out myself when I checked my mail on 6/22/2021. When I immediately reported this to the property staff after I found out that the mailbox was broken into, the staff member was already aware of the situation. She said someone from the property had already spoken with me about this. However, I have not gotten a single call or email regarding this issue. She also informed me that the suspect was a previous tenant, who was forced out from the unit I currently live in. Then she told me to file a police report but would not give name of the previous tenant who is a suspect. If this happened on the apartment property and involved a previous tenant as the suspect, why won't the property manager file a police report? I reported this to a leasing staff member, and he offered us to move to a different unit that was available on 7/7. Although the other unit is smaller, I agreed due to the paranoia that the previous suspect has our identity, information, and possibly will return to the apartment property. Our safety has been compromised under this apartment management. I then spoke to assistant manager who did not provide any help on the situation. She essentially said we must pay a transfer fee ($750) to move and that is the only way that I could transfer the unit. She was very rude and not helpful at all. As of 7/13/2021, my mailbox is still broken, my package is still stolen, and I am unable to move to a different unit. This apartment may appear nice and clean, but it is not safe and property management will not take any action to assure the residents' safety.
Thus far my experience at Be DTLA has been a abundance of luxury, safety and comfort for more than a year. I have been proud to be part of such a great and beautiful community.
