Property Ratings at Beachwood Apartments
Has become an increasingly unsafe area. A couple of months ago I had my car broken into, which shocked me because we are supposed to have security in the parking lot, but I guess they took the day off that time. In addition, I've also had multiple packages stolen from the shared delivery room. It's a trust based system, which is horrible, so if you like receiving packages, be sure to go get them immediately or risk someone else taking them. When I've reported my packages missing, they just say they'll look at the cameras and ultimately nothing comes of it. As a result of all this, every weekend you see U-Hauls with people moving to better places, which wasn't the case when I first moved here in mid 2022. Won't be long before I too find a new home.
I have lived here for 3 years and Love living here. Management Elizabeth, Dan & Joel are very professional and the Maintenance workers are the best. Everything need in our apartment gets done very fast.
My boyfriend and I just moved in, and already we highly appreciate the Beachwood staff. We love Dan and Joel!!! Dan has been so kind and great to work with. All of our questions and concerns have been answered professionally with grace and compassion. To top it off, on our move-in day, we lost track of time and forgot to pick up a package that arrived for us. Minutes before office hours closing.. chivalrous, sweet Joel offers to grab it for us! These gestures mean everything to us, we are so happy here so far, and we feel taken care of.
I’ve been living here almost 6 years now and I still feel very satisfied to stay. Everybody at the office is very kind, especially Dan, I like this guy. He is very friendly and very quick to respond to my requests with open smile. And the maintenance team is super! I can see that they are very diligent at work all the time. Some residents who don’t have manners do not clean up after their dog but this maintenance team walk around the apartment complex with a broom and a dust pan whenever they don’t fix something and clean up after the dogs. Caesar is very friendly, courteous, and very good at fixing things as well as other members (sorry, I didn’t get all of their names yet)and makes me satisfied at all times. There are many residents who live longer than I do and just this fact proves this is a nice place to come back to after a long day at work, I think.
If you're walking in for the first time, Beachwood might seem decent. Give it a few days and the real issues begin to spring forth. The apartment complex is covered by homeless and prostitution. The come in ever single morning and evening. There really is no protection from them. The people living around here are not the nicest. I mean, residents have continuously sped through the apartment almost hitting my child. Their gate was down for a month because someone from the apartment complex ran into the gate trying to speed outside. The amenities in the apartments may look "new" but they're actually the cheapest plastic kind that won't stand even a year. I'm happy I moved my entire family out of this place. Along with the ongoing violence and in the area and constant break in of cars, this is not the place you want to live.

beachwood is the best appartment I lived in during my stay in the United States. the staff ,especially Elizabeth and Jebrial, is very cooperative and helpful. the maintenance department guys are very professional and instant service is available 24/7. the appartment is very clean, well maintained and deserves the rent fees. the appliances are brand new. I left it because I moved to another state. if I will come back to Anaheim, absolutely I will choose Beachwood. unfortunately no more than five star available in the rating bar . I recommende this appartment for any one will moved to the area.

The staff is friendly, the apartments are decently spacious, what could be wrong? Right? Do not do business with these people! First off: parking. Even if you have a space reserved, half the time there's construction going on forcing residents to park 20 minutes away in residential neighborhoods that will ticket you for street cleaning without any warning. Seriously, parking was an absolute nightmare the entire time I was at beachwood. Second: security. There isn't any. I'm still not sure what the proper etiquette is for throwing away garbage when some homeless person is digging around in the dumpster, but I can recommend that you shred any sensitive information before you throw it away. Last: The landlady, the community directory/person-in-charge. Do not do business with this person! When my girlfriend and I were preparing to move out, we made the mistake of asking her for information in person rather than getting it in writing. Because of this, she fed us the wrong move-out date (casually forgot to mention anything about a 30-day notice despite the fact that it was well before 30 days and we were asking her about moving out) and then threw every charge she could at us for breaking the lease. If you think about it, its a smart business tactic as we never intend to rent from her again anyways. Regardless, make sure any information you get from her is in writing! Or, better yet, don't do business with these crooks in the first place!
It's a really nice place! well kept, maintenance staff is great! My only complaint is the rent goes up significantly every month.I know for a fact not everyone's rent is raised..It is a community and we do talk to each other! My other complaint I live in a 2 bedroom apt and we are only given 1 parking space.there are only about 15? outside parking spaces available. If you don't get here before 5pm you are out of luck! Other than that..My grankids love it here when they visit Gramma..they can swim, play basketball, and tennis. Another good thing is they allow larger dogs!
Anyone who's lived in LA for the same rent amount knows that what you'll get over there is a deteriorated slum with cockroaches and mold. I've lived here 6 months now and could't be happier. Elizabeth, Martha and Elise have always been courteous, helpful and providing us with excellent service. Any time anything stops working right, like the faucet in the kitchen or a kitchen cabinet door- they send someone to fix it right away. Any time there's any concern or question, they're on top of it. The complex has gotten much safer with the gates and new security, the area is always manicured and kept clean every single day, the workers for the complex are all nice, helpful and have done their best with all requests. My apartment is in top condition and it gets perfectly maintained. No issues with plumbing, rodents or insects. You get what you pay for, and to me this feels like I live in a hotel. I certainly can't complain, and most definitely don't see myself leaving this beautiful place:)
I like that apartments are kept clean including the parking lot, pool area and the GYM. I don't like that there is not enough parking space I think many residence have more than two cars using all the space. and that some residence don't follow the rules about smoking in the designate areas. the laundry can stay open later than 9pm. thank you, Beachwood Resident
Beach wood apartment consists of around 300 apartments yet its very spacious and open area. It has 2 pools and spa , fully functional Gym.Lots of parking space.It 's a gated community so it is highly secured and security personnel take a round in night. It has a pet park.Has 2 barbecue area.Best part is whole community is smoke free. Location of apartment is very good. It has tennis and basketball court too.Support staff is very helpful and courteous. Key Features near by : West Anaheim medical center is around the corner. CVS pharmacy is opposite to community. Public transport is available next to apartment. Very well connected to Freeway 91 and 57 Disneyland is 8 miles only. All the major supermarkets like Walmart, ralphs,stater bro,super king etc are in 5 miles radius. School is adjacent to community Cypress college is 1 miles away only. Many restaurant near by Amenities in Apartments: Microwave Dishwasher Oven Induction Central AC/Heating Wooden flooring , bedroom has carpet and big closet. Extra storage Units. Electronic key entrance. Presence of all major internet service providers in whole community. Big balcony/patio This community is perfect to live in with Family . If you have kids you need to worry about their safety as entrance gates are always closed and can be opened by remote provided to residents only. Some of the residents staying here for 5 Years ,that shows how good apartments and security is.
My apartment has all the amenities what any person think off .Apartment layout is perfect with good size , plenty of plants ,peace ,gym,2 pool,staff is awesome. Barbique area is perfect for family to enjoy and spend time with dear ones and children. Perfect location and its near to bus stop,public garden,school,shopping center.Its awesome!!!!!!!!!!
Life at Beachwood is like a never ending vacation. I love coming home to my modernized apartment. Everything is just so nice. My apartment is very spacious, with granite counter tops, a huge kitchen with all black appliances, central A/C, hardwood floors, crown molding, a balcony overlooking the basketball court, and the energy saving lighting fixtures are the best! One thing to note, is that everything is ran on electricity so you don't have separate utility bills to pay. Just one, electricity! Which is sort of helpful. The price is also very reasonable for all that we get. I love that we have BBQs that are kept cleaned so that anytime we want to grill something, whether it's breakfast lunch or dinner, we can go out by the pool and BBQ. The dog park is also pretty awesome!! My pup loves it!!! The only downside here would be the parking, with only one assigned carport per unit. It gets kind of irritating trying to find additional parking for your second car. Overall you just can't go wrong living here and I would definitely recommend it.

One of the more upgraded and nicer apartment communities in the area. Upgraded features included flooring, new carpet, updated appliances & fixtures. All common areas are cleaned and maintained each day. Features two pools, basketball court, tennis court, and a small gym. Feels very homey. Parking can be difficult as each unit comes with one reserved spot. There are some unmarked spaces but can be hard to come by during the evening hours.
very nice 2 bed 2 bath apartment home, 2 pools a jacuzi, small gym basketball court, tennis court, pet friendly. On a very busy street, but has security gate entrance.
The apartment is nice spacious and recently renovated but the management provides terrible customer services. The walls are very thin and you can hear all kind of noises from the neighbors. Management is very strict with having people over or even have music on or TV on average sound. The parking is a nightmare. Not enough spaces and for a 2 bedrooms you only get one parking space. Also you are not allowed to park on the streets. Security is also horrible. I have had clothes being stolen from the washing machine and a motorcycle stolen from the parking lot.
It's a great community. Been living here for a long time. Never had any problems. Well maintained community. But recently they allowed pets and there are a lot of dogs barking all the time. Parking however is a big problem. You need to pay extra to reserve a 2nd parking spot. Convenient location. Overall a good community to live in.
