Beachwood is a suburban city of Cleveland. Beachwood gets its name from the pretty Beech trees that once covered the area. Today, Beachwood is home to many businesses and is considered one of the great places to live in Ohio. There are several corporations that call Beachwood home, giving the city a sturdy economy and plenty of job opportunities. Interstate 271 and other access roads make traveling in and out of Beachwood easy.
There are a lot of great shopping opportunities within Beachwood like the large shopping complex, Beachwood Place. There is also an outdoor shopping area that hosts a wide range of stores. One of the main attractions of this city is the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage, a state-of-the-art museum about the history of Jewish immigrants in the United States. Your apartment won't look like the pictures you see here. The workmanship on what was really a partial renovation is a bit shoddy. The investment mostly went into the model unit and common areas. You'll likely be exposed to excessive second-hand smoke, even in the privacy of your own unit. But the pool is nice.

They plowed the snow into my car in the parking lot making it impossible to get into my car or get out . When I asked them to remove the excess snow around it they refused stating they do not remove snow for residents . I would understand if this is normal snowfall but this was caused by their maintenance crew. 3 months in and I’m starting to regret signing a lease here . August 2021 can’t come soon enough

Overall, I have loved living here the last few months. It’s my first apartment on my own since graduating college and it’s been a positive experience so far. It’s a good “bang for your buck” option because it’s clear that renovations happened recently and compared to other places I looked around the area, it’s easier to afford more space for less money. The location is extremely convenient to the grocery store, restaurants, gas stations, shopping, pharmacy, post office, etc. so just about anything you need is nearby! The highway is also right there which makes it easy to get anywhere you need around town. The bathrooms are a little small, and there have been some maintenance problems, but the staff is friendly and responsive to any issue. My apartment has a lot of closet space which I love! Great storage. The pool/gym are upgraded and really nice. Lots of families live here and everyone in my building is respectful.

I am very glad we decided to move into these apartments! I love the 3 bedroom apartment we have as well as the gym and common area. We had a few issues when we first moved in and they were resolved rapidly and efficiently. Jourdan and Kate have been very nice and helpful since we moved in. The location of these apartments are very convenient as well. I definitely recommend this place!
If you're looking for a spacious and comfortable community look no further. We are giing on 5 years and we really enjoy the space ?? The staff is very helpful and engaging.

We’ve been living here about two months and it’s been a nice experience! The pool area and grills are a nice amenity when the weather is warm. Overall the updates in the apartment are nice, minus the coil stove top, would love for that to be updated to glass top or a gas stove. Maintenance and front desk is fairly responsive and professional!

I absolutely love living here! It’s quiet but pretty. The common areas are fun and full of whimsy. The pool even features cabanas. I love my apartment - seems like it was completely gutted and renovated before I moved in. Management is quick to respond. I highly recommend!

I recently moved into Beachwood Apartments and my transition was seamless with the help of Jourdan. I first heard of this apartment complex via the Apartments.com app. The space in my apartment is terrific. The kitchen is my favorite room because it’s so spacious and so pretty! The only downfall is the parking lot parking, it’s very limited. My apartment is also on the backside of the main building which is where all deliveries, movers, maintenance, drop offs, other residents enter, so it is extremely noisy. The amenities are high end and I cannot wait to enjoy the arcade space and outdoor fire pit.

These apartments offer a great deal of space in each apartment for a low price compared to others in the area. Many amenities are also offered to residents like a pool, gym, and outside lounge area! Highly recommend!

I have been living at Beachwood Apartments by Albion for almost 3 months now. I would say it is a good value for the price, especially compared to many of the apartments where my friends live. My apartment is spacious and overlooks the pool. The pool itself is nice, but the gym is the part I really like. It has a good variety of equipment. My biggest complaints are that I don't have a garbage disposal in the kitchen and it is difficult to get maintenance to fix things (they have previously closed out my requests as "completed" without doing the work). However, I am super grateful to Kate in the office who has worked with me to ensure that the maintenance work gets completed. I have worked with her from signing my lease to all of my questions to even just getting to know Cleveland. She has been a great help on everything. Overall, Beachwood by Albion has been a good experience so far.

My roommate and I moved into Beachwood Apartments by Albion in May. We love our apartment! The finishes feel so high-end for the price we are paying to live here. And the amenities like the pool and the gym make it even better! Plus, the underground parking will be a great perk during the winter months. This is a great place to live!

I just recently moved in and have lived in several apartments before and these are by far the best! My move in experience was seamless. The staff is super welcoming and helpful every step of the way. These apartments are the best valued in Beachwood. I looked at several other apartments in the area and they were all more expensive and the apartments had little to no storage. Beachwood offers tons of closet space in the apartment and your own free storage locker! I highly recommend checking them out if you are looking to move to Beachwood!

We have lived in a three bedroom apartment here for about a year and a half, and we love it. We have had nothing but good experiences with everyone that works here, especially the manager Maggie. Maitenince is very responsive and helps with everything we need. We truly enjoy every aspect of living here! Highly recommend!!!!

I strongly recommend that anyone who considers living at this establishment stay as far away as possible. No matter who you tour the facilities with and how in love with the amenities you think you are....do not get suckered into paying this place a dime. The management team is the worst I’ve ever seen. They do the exact opposite of what a hospitality company should do. They put your every concern on the back burner, do not respond to maintenance issues for weeks on end, and do not have your best interest at hand. The facility is subpar and management team consistently works against you. They’ll squeeze you for every dime they think they deserve but won’t budge on a single issue even when in reality they’re at fault. I strongly believe it is the management team and hope the owners look to replace everyone in the front office. Trust me when I say this, living here will be one of the worst decisions of your life. Find another apartment complex, Beachwood and Cleveland have many to offer. You will be ignored and certainly not cared for. They will enter your apartment without your consent and lie through their teeth to try and cover their tracks. I do not want you to experience the misfortune I had to deal with. The management team are there to make your life difficult. Everything you say goes in one ear and out the other. They are disrespectful and quite frankly incompetent. It’s a shame, the place has potential, but the team running the show ruins any hope it has of flourishing.

My experience at Beachwood apartment by abilion has been an complete roller coaster and disappointment. My original move in date was February 23rd. When I showed up to get my keys I was blindsided and left in the dark to find out that My Apartment had not been completely finished. This was NEVER communicated with me. I had to make other living arrangements due to their lack of communication. There were no flowers no appliances no carpet, paint or toilets in my apartment. The leasing manager blew me off as if it wasn’t a big deal. Since then the leasing office barely answers phone calls, does not return phone calls or respond to emails. They advertise a 24 hour turnaround time but that is not true. Scheduling maintenance calls with them is very hard due to the fact that they never show up to check what your concern was about your apartment. There a hidden fees in your lease that they do not mention. One being that residents are responsible for hallway and common area utilities And you must purchase underground parking. The parking lots are very small and unaccommodating to anyone who gets home after 3 PM. Also within the four months that I have lived here my paint is cracking on all of my walls and I have a plumbing issue in my bathroom. Maintenance was notified as well as the leasing office for weeks and nothing has been done.

I’m in my second lease with the Deville Apartments. I find that I like Morgan Communities better before Village Green took over. Based off of maintenance requests, and them responding and actually returning your call. The apartments are descent, the apartment above me, their kids run around all the time, and now having problems with the small ants, they don’t exterminate in a timely manner. The apartments are in a nice location from shopping. They are in the process of renovating apartments and hearing that the rent is going up an extra $400, not happy about that. I would just say take a look for yourself because everyone has different needs and wants out of an apartment.

When i came to the Deville it smelled with fresh air and scented, now it smells like the scent of garbage coming from the dumpster into the hallways, the garage is leaking when it rains. The yellow tape in the garage i thought someone died in there. If they didn't go up on your rent they will $400 and then want you pay for the gas, electric,water, sewer and trash, let alone if you want to pay for a garage.$40. The model suite looks smaller, they want you to move out of your suite then move into another suite until your high apartment is ready. If your willing to pay this , your the idiot they are looking for. They put the washer and dryer in a closet which looks like a kids toy, you can only put about 2 items in there at a time, watch your water bill go sky HIgh!. the parking lot has a lot of chuck holes which nobody fix. I think the cleaning person ran away with the broom, because it is so dirty in the whole building and the elevators, it looks like nobody sweeps. The people in the office are not friendly except 1 person. The dumpster area on the 1st floor is always open so, anybody can come in and someone always leave the garage door open. make sure your watch your surroundings you don't know who is lerking in there. Village Green don't care if you have kids and how the cost would affect parents with kids, by up rooting them from the school system with these cost. Well, look at what i said and look and hear for yourself. Good Luck. Bad investment.

Deville is currently undergoing a full renovation, and while we strive to make this process as seamless as possible, we do understand that there will be resident concerns. Regarding the smell of trash, our site team does walk the community daily, and there have been no reports of trash rooms standing open. Additionally, we have retained the same gentleman who cleaned for the former management company, and we are confident that he will continue to meet resident standards and keep the community clean. Our team is also working with the construction manager to ensure that any clutter is kept to an absolute minimum. Lastly, as you mentioned, every unit is getting its’ own washer and dryer. The washer/dryers are ¾ -sized stack units and will certainly accommodate much more than two articles of clothing. We also currently have ten laundry rooms on-site that receive full use. The new washer/dryers may increase the community’s overall water bill slightly. Please keep in mind that water bills will now be calculated by RUM and paid for by residents. Our team is committed to providing best in class customer service and an exceptional rental experience, and we’d like the opportunity to serve you better. I scheduled an appointment just so the leasing agent Jordan could lay on her desk and tell me there were no units available (despite the site saying they were) and that the site rates were likely not correct so there was no sense in me looking.

We also read, every review on Deville Apartments, which didn't help. but we decided to give this a try. We set up a tour, with leasing agents Wendy and Khalil. They are both wonderful, answered all our questions regarding every single questions, that i extracted from the reviews such as the drugs, maintenance and their attention towards tenants. The drugs issue was major operation, those tenants leased couple from deville, the Vue and a house of their own, the local police and the FBI was involved in it as well. That issue has been dealt with, sorted done and dusted. We have been living here for a while . Every single, maintenance have been followed up immediately. Wendy has been very helpful, displayed empathy through out our moving process and gone out of her way before, during and after the move in process. We appreciate their understanding and services. These apartments, are very Family friendly and very secure. There are heaps of families that live here. The school bus comes right inside to pick my children up. Very happy about that! I am surprised by the reviews The Deville received. While apartment hunting I decided to visit and was impressed with the friendliness of the staff and grounds around the complex. I moved in a little over a month and half after my visit. Maintenance has been quick to resolve any issues and I enjoy the updates made to the pool this summer. There are resident appreciation events and my favorite "Bagel Wednesday ". Very nice amenities.
I have been a resident of The Deville for a few months now and I love it. When I was touring different apartments, I was impressed with the feel of The Deville. They had a few different options for my price point and were very accomodating to my move in needs. I really felt like The Deville had more of a community/home type vibe, which is hard to find in the pricey Beachwood area. After moving in, I definitely feel I am getting what I was promised. Love the updated finishes and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Happy I made the move.
We lived at the Deville Apartments for four years now(2013-2017) and have been very happy here. The management team is devoted to their tenants and they are always available to address any concerns we had. Their maintenance team is professional and trustworthy and they are dedicated to high quality work. The Beachwood Police Department does a fantastic job of monitoring the area, always making sure the property is quiet and safe. Overall, this has been the best place that my sons and I have ever lived in. Thank you so much to the Management and Maintenance Teams for taking such good care of us! For this price you can find a better place in beachwood. It will take maintenance months to fix small issue. the staff is rude and unfriendly. A lot of tenets are thinking of leaving. Like someone said they are putting a lot of money on cosmetic but are not helping people who live here and forgot about finding a parking space after 6.
WAS a decent apartment experience but new management and staff really brought it down. New cosmetic changes, although very nice, can't help the basic structural problems that still exist. Staff is not customer friendly, maintenance is slow with problems in the building and your apartment, not enough parking for residents, got rid of all activities for residents, that was a nice selling point and amenity they offered. So far not positive changes to make the residence want to live there. You can't put lipstick on a pig.
The lay out is stunning. Designed very well. Spacious and beautiful. It's everything you would want in a house without a basement. Looks to be very peaceful. Well kept inside and out. The amenities are great. DeVille's a place I would love to call home. Andrea Lang 216-854-5975
