Property Ratings at Beacon Hill Apartments
Pros: maintenance responds fairly quickly Office staff is very nice and seem willing to help with minor issues Cons: Buildings are poorly maintained (extreme water damage) They increase rent for "renovated" apartments but its just an extremely poor paint job (there is paint splattered everywhere and it's sticky) Black mold Bugs not only in apartments but red wasps outside Units are really small for the price

We love hearing that our high standards for the comfort and convenience of our residents meet your expectations. Thank you for your 5-star review!
Long story short, stayed at Beacon in 2019 moved out in September of 2019 early, lease wasn't supposed to end until February 2020. Paid $3600 to move out my lease early in September. Came back in the middle of October and they had new management. Now I've discovered that the new management charged me with $1300 which I am now trying to get removed from my credit. Just DONT DO IT!
I've been at Beacon Hill for nearly five years now, and every time the management changes (which is about every 6 months), it gets worse. They don't answer the phone or respond to their email, and I've had a manager tell me in person that she doesn't check their voicemail. If you submit a maintenance request, they'll sit and do nothing for weeks or even months until you start showing up in person every day until it gets fixed. They've jacked up the rent nonstop to the point that we're being way overcharged for these terrible, old, unrenovated units. I'm in the process of moving out, and they have this insane list of move-out charges (for example, $95 for each mirror that you don't clean well enough for their liking) to try and screw over the little guy for more money on their way out. The newest management is money-grubbing and has no interest in guaranteeing their residents any level of comfort or security. Living here is like being a victim of a racketeering scheme. DO NOT LIVE HERE.
Do not live here!!! It’s infested and gross!!! Super loud… the floors creek. You can hear literally everything. Never any parking spaces… Ant’s be in the bathroom for what??? Roaches everything! Do not live here
Don’t move here!! the whole complex is infested with roaches. They have a total of four city dumpster inside the gate which are always full and you will have to walk a long distance just to dump your personal trash . You can never find a parking spot because the complex is busy day & night since the whole city has the gate code . Please don’t waste your time here.

I lived at Beacon HIlls for the past three years but this last year was the worst. I’ve had a rat issue that I didn’t cause that started in Novemember of 2018 and was not resolved into last month which is April 2019. I was unable to live in my apartment for a while due to rats. My apartment also floods when it rains which has happened since I’ve had the apartment. They addressed the issue of the water but did not inform me that I couldn’t stay in my apartment while they resolved the issue. I came home to my furniture displaced and my bed taken apart with my lights left on and blowers everywhere. This was on Friday and my apartment stayed that way until Monday without notification from anyone! You’re never be able to speak directly to management and it takes weeks to get answers to anything. Do not move here!!
I've moved into this complex last summer around July and I feel very content of the area it seems very immaculate and safe... the management team is very helpful and also the maintenance crew... when I notify them about a situation in my apartment, they're right at your door within the next day or so... and now this year with a new office manager Jewel... things are going a whole lot quicker than before whenever I file a maintenance report... she's very respectful...she made a huge change into the community... she will make you feel welcome as if you are already part of the community at any time whenever you walk through the door.. and a huge shout out to Demarius I've known him since I first moved in.. he's very helpful and outgoing person
I just recently moved to Beacon Hill and when I first walked in the office door the staff was very friendly and very helpful. They do everything they can to make you feel at home and welcome you with open arms to their community. My experience so far has been great and the office manager Jewel is the best.
The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The office manager Jewel was especially helpful and very professional and always greets you with a warm, welcoming smile. Very family based atmosphere.
I've stayed at Beacon Hill for 3 years. I haven't had any issues with Maintenace or the office. I haven't had many Maintenace issues, but the ones I have had were all taken care of timely. The manager has been awesome always asking me if everything in my apartment is fine and smiling. I recommend Beacon Hill to anyone.
Horrible manager!! She refuse to let you speak with her supervisor when there is a problem. I lived there for 5 years they never cleaned my carpet or painted my walls. And when I tried to move to another apartment they wanted me to start over with a new security deposit. It was several shootings and one murder at the apartment and one shooting right in front of my apartment. Even though I did not renew my lease with them in June they treated me like I broke my lease when I moved out in September. Everyone in my building moved out after the shooting and the new manager Jalisa started moving in anybody. The apartments is not safe even if you don't smoke weed your apartment will smell like weed all day. Still waiting to speak with the Supervisor!!!
This is the worst place I have ever lived. They change managers about once a day. The maintenance took 2 weeks to come fix my heater in the middle of February. Before I moved in I said I wanted the carpets cleaned because they were disgusting and no one ever came then when I moved out they said someone mysteriously came and said they weren't that bad and then charged me to clean it when I moved out. Cheap rent but terrible management.
This s a very secure and calm place. Maintenance is done on time and they're always there when you need them.
Beacon Hill Apartments are nice, but the staff is not helpful. Maintenance can take awhile to get around to fixing things in the apartment. When I moved in my apartment, it had not been properly cleaned at the past tenant.
I have enjoyed my stay thus far. Quiet and conveniently located to my job, school, and shopping.
