Property Ratings at Beacon House
If this is all you can afford then they’re ok . They have ac & heat and it puts a roof over your head but if you can spend just a little more on a better apartment I honestly would .
Property Manager at Beacon House, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your feedback. We aim to provide a 5-star experience for all of our residents, so we're sorry to hear you feel this way. Please reach out to us at (855) 327-7636 to let us know how we can do better.
This complex is under constant repairs that they can't keep up with. The elevators break frequently, the door to let you in the building is broken (by key fob entry), and the staff is not helpful. They don't offer recycling, they expect the entire complex to throw everything away. They are extremely wasteful for the little money they can save. There are many open apartments available to rent, and it seems like the staff cares more about filling those apartments than maintaining the building for the residents already there. I'm upset that I'm stuck in a year lease at this place. Don't make my mistake.
Very small 1 bedroom for $1000 a month. Less then 600 sq feet, no washer and dryer, no windows besides 2 sliding glass doors, the laundry room is a joke so we do laundry at our parents house because the cloths never get clean here. Paper thin walls, we can always hear our neighbors, the office does not show any repeat towards us, it is sad that this is what Colorado has come to. We could definitely use some help.
I am a single 22 year old mom to a beautiful little girl. I live in Beacon House apartments and let me tell you what a blessing this place has been for us. I moved into a town home with several other roommates In september of 2013. My daughter was six months old at the time. I was getting ready to file bankruptcy and did not have a whole lot of money. I lived in a world of chaos and it was a terrible environment to be raising my daughter in. January of 2015 landlord came to us and told us she was not renewing our lease in March.I had a limited budget and a bankruptcy on my record. I needed somewhere I felt safe to have my daughter. Somewhere clean and stable. My mom and I were out the next day looking at some of the places when we drove by Beacon House. It is a small community, Only 2 buildings. It was quiet and the grounds looked well kept.We walked into the leasing office and were greated by Ms.Kim. I explained my scenario, my concerns, and my limitations. I explained my need to have somewhere safe for my little one and somewhere I could afford being on my own. She explained the buildings were Secured and my rent was just right for my budget. I was eager to take a look at a model. As we walked to the elevator (YES AN ELEVATOR AND THEY ARE NEWLY REMODELED A FEW WEEKS AGO) I noticed how quiet the building was. No loud music, fighting couples, and the building smelled clean!!! The model was gorgeous. Newly renovated kitchens and bathrooms and you couldnt hear any of the outside noise when the backdoor was closed! It was incredible. No movement above us could be heard either.I was nervous about my credit situation but Ms.Kim encouraged me to try. I brought my application and deposit check back a few hours later. She told me she would be in contact soon. An hour later she called. I was approved. No technicalities or extra requirments needed. I was approved and we set a move in date. I was so excited I cried. I have lived here six months. I have never had a single issue. My neighbors are quiet, Maintenace is amazing, Roger is such a sweet heart and quick to respond to any work orders placed. Ms.Andrea is our property manager now and she is like the sweetest person ever! I feel safe walking to and from my car at night, I go to bed and never hear a sound. I cant tell you how happy I am here! I was given a fresh start and a chance to provide not just a place for my daughter and I to live, but our first home. I see many happy years ahead of us here!
