Bear Valley Village Apartments

I toured a lot of places in the area and this one has the best combination of pretty and clean apartments, affordable rent, and good staff/community. Courtney has been very friendly and helpful and helped me feel welcomed!

I chose these apartments because not only is the rent one of the most affordable in this part of town but after looking at place after place it was nice to finally have people who were so friendly and welcoming! Courtney immediately made me feel right at home and continued to make sure everything was good even after the lease was signed.

Courtney was very helpful respectful and let me know about my work order when I thought that it was just forgotten about. She’s amazing.

Lived here for about 3 months. So far, everything has been great. Leasing office is helpful when questions arise, and the community is nice.

I moved in recently and all the staff has been so nice. Courtney especially has made the move in process excellent! Happy with our apartment!

I moved in 2022 because I love the view and the price. Management was a bit neglectful of simple things that in my mind could have made the property more attractive and functional. Here we are two years later and a few months ago there were drastic changes in management. The parking lots have been repaired from the biggest pot holes you could imagine, the trees have been manicured recently by a professional company and the broken branches are all cleaned up. The groundskeeper, Tyler works tirelessly cleaning up trash, dog poo, trimming plants and trees, raking every pine needle, clearing walks and stairs from ice and snow, cleaning gutters and parking lots. He is one of a kind for sure! Give that man a RAISE! The office staff is friendly, attentive to needs, and listens intently to make sure tenants know they are heard and taken care of. I have heard this happen first hand. Sarah is AWESOME in every way and I go straight to her with any concerns because I know she will take care of me and update me frequently. In other words, she does what she says she will do and does it in a timely manner. Thank you Sarah. Blake is the manager and listens with an open mind and open ears considering all options in order to issue his best customer service. They work with each person to find common ground in solving problems. I hope this crew never leaves. They are THE BEST!

They are super helpful and flexible on move in dates and the policies are straightforward and lenient on my 4 days of living here. Will update my review throughout my experience but so far very good.

I moved here at the end of July, and have been well pleased with the courtesy and quite of my neighbors. I don’t hear their dogs especially at night. The are No loud parties or fights, or just loudness in general. It seems all the neighbors expect and respect that need for quite, peace-full living. The one thing that was different, since I’m from a mid-west state is how they do the rental fees, utilities, etc.. I have to say it was a lot to figure out. Overall, I think it’s a good place to live. I would recommend it to others. Isa M.

Very clean and modern apartments. Professional and polite staff. The neighborhood and surrounding area is quiet. Leasing office staff is respectful of our concerns and make an effort to resolve any maintenance needs. Maintenance is always prompt and polite. Grounds are well kept. Maintenance is first class. So happy we are here.

Great staff for sure. Really old and basically not improvable. Flooding issues so don't rent on the 1st floor. Great location.

At first it was good, then slowly month by month it got worse. Horrible parking, so you’ll be walking across the whole parking lot at night just to get to your apartment. There’s always trash outside along the stairs like soda cans, wrappers, straws, and etc. The windows are not insulated, so in winter there’s always a draft. Also, when it rains you’ll be stepping on wet carpet. The amenities are garbage. But they still believe bear valley village has “value” and raised our rent by 11% after only 5 months. We talked to the people next to us and they raised theirs by alot more cause it’s a “corner” apartment? Best part they won’t give you back your deposit and won’t even give you a descriptive reason why. Before we left we asked if we’d get our deposit back. And the guy at the desk literally chuckled and said “ehhh maybe”. Should’ve saw that coming I guess. So they get to upgrade their apartments with your hard earned money. I’d rate this place a 3/10. Do not go here and give them your money. Cause you won’t get it back and you’ll find way BETTER places around the area for what they charge.

A male employee that works in the leasing office kept intimidating me and acting like he wanted to fight me, and one day when I walked out my front door to my truck he was staring me down. I asked him if he wanted to hit me or something and he said “yes let’s go right now!” He then proceeded to quickly walk towards me while yelling at me and the property manager was holding him back and telling him to calm down. This is an employee that clearly does not worry about the well-being of his tenants nor does he worry about the peace and order in the apartment complex. I’m truly embarrassed to live there and very embarrassed for the young man who wanted to fight me.

Let's start out with that RENT keeps going up even though upgrades are not done and it's the smallest apt in the area. During the Covid-19 Pandemic this management company has been absolutely heartless. The struggle of Americans and the lack of Colorado unemployment payments have delayed rental payments. Thank you for being the Absolute worste company to deal with during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC.

I have been so pleased with this apartment. IF I have ever needed maintenance, it is pretty much immediate and all of the maintenance workers are so great! It is quiet and kid friendly. Perfect place for a single momma and her daughter to live for more than just one lease term.

When I originally moved out here I was looking for a place to live. I choose Bear Valley Village for the cheap monthly fee originally. Over the last two years now they have brought their price up to “match and stay equivalent” with the current market value. There is nothing current value with this property. Clubhouse is very well under kept, pool is outdated and inside yet only being open for a short season, laundry room is always under kept, mail room boxes are very old and broken, (people can just reach into certain boxes), staff is very unfriendly and unprofessional. I have brought up many issues to them and majority of the time they assure me the problem is not in their control. They send out things for incentive to stay a tenant at their property, but will bring your rent up at the end of tenancy to “stay market value.” Even if you are looking for a “cheap” place I would keep looking and not settle with this place. Very old and out dated, yet charge for new and renovated apartments.

I appreciate the value, location, and very pleasant staff. The very few repairs I’ve needed have been quickly resolved by the same trustworthy, knowledgeable facilities engineers that are here on property. The office staff is pleasant, genuine and drama free. All of the crew seem to work as a team and it’s been the same team while I’ve lived here. Way to go Plenty of Places.......thanks for all you do. I love the coffee bar, pool and business center that is included in the rent. The new manager certainly does a great job at least trying new stuff like Taco night, occasional treats for the kids and it seems like variety occurs in the coffee bar. Stay awesome

Yeah definitely bad experience. Read your reservation agreement because they don't return your deposit or prorate your move in date because they believe you have to pay for full months rent and second month your rent prorated. Wow really people you think they are so stupid and when you speak up about they look at you don't know what your talking about. Bad business practices and trying to swindle you holding deposit for apartment . I would give them zero stars for customer service and not trying to work with you.!Your just Dollars sign to them. Assistant manager Nicole will convince your wrong and she's always right!??

I have been living in these apartments coming up on two years now. Overall, the experience has been pretty good. I'll break it down into a list of pros and cons: Pros: Relatively cheap rent compared to most of the Denver area, good parking, haven't had any maintenance issues, cheap electricity bill Cons: Rent has been raised every several months, a lot of noisy tenants (not a big deal to me, but a con for most people), not a lot of storage space
