Spanning an area of 27 square miles, the city of Alexandria, Louisiana has a population of around 48,000 people. This moderately-sized city is among the largest in Rapides parish. Since the 2010 Census, it has been found that the city's population has been on the rise with no signs of stopping anytime soon. This is great for those who are looking for an up-and-coming area in which to live. The economy of this town is also booming, making this a wonderful place to move for those who want to start a new career or just be a part of this exciting city.
One of the biggest events in Alexandria is (of course!) Mardi Gras. This exciting event involves parades, great food, entertainment, and lots of fun. Alexandria is home to another popular festival, Que'in on the Red. This event involves Louisiana's world-famous barbeque cooked up by local chefs and plenty of live music. This tasty event takes place in March and is typically held at North Levee Park.

Property Ratings at Beau Terre
Poor management and worst maintenance. No one will answer properly and you may end up in living in this pothole
Employees won't wear masks when coming to do required in apt maintenance. Prices are jumping from what my neighbors who are moving out in droves have said and flyers at the office are even worse prices now. A third of the cars smell like weed in the parking lots. This place is 35yrs old and looks it but they're expecting more and more rent for older and older facilities. The cheap repairs on the fences after the hurricane are just awful looking. Its all going to be all roommate situations which means it will look and sound and smell like a frat house in very short order, because single families aren't going to pay this much for this lack of quality.

We are sorry to learn that you feel this way about Beau Terre. Our maintenance team wear the mask at the request of the resident before entering the units. The prices are reflective of current market rates in comparison to our competition. Yes this is a 35 year old property but it does not look like it and we are constantly upgrading the units in between turns to update the property, these things take time. We are working diligently to address issues when reported concerning the smell of marijuana. Please feel free to contact the office to let us know what you feel we can do to improve and make Beau Terre a comfortable and accommodating living environment for you.
I have checked several apartments and this is the only one I wanted to live in. I sold my home back in November and have been here since. I am from Alexandria and would not have it any other way. The apartment is right for me. It has saved me on money, travel time, miles on my vehicle. The place is quiet well kept up. The staff here is great. I find Johnathan very helpful and respectful. I have notice him when he is off duty talking to the residents, knowing their names and just out right great person. The location is great. I only have to travel short distance to a store, doctor's office, food, and just get around. I would not have it any other way. Thanks to Johnathan for having a place to stay.

We are happy Beau Terre is a place you love to call home. We are working diligently to keep things steered in the right direction. Thank You for your kind words.
My wife and I have lived in the Beau Terre Apartmemts for almost two years and we love it! The workers here are all around great and work as hard as they can at their job. I know there could be things that could get fixed faster or done smoother, but my wife and I both understand that you can’t please everyone and nothing will go as smooth as you plan. The workers here work hard and have great respect for the residents here. I’m glad my wife and I decided to live in these apartments for the time being until we find a house. Thank you Beau Terre Apaprtmemts for everything you guys do! We are very greatful.
This is my first and last apartment living. I can't wait to get back into my home. There are some positives and some negatives. The negatives outweigh the positives for me. The maintenance is wonderful and fixes things very quickly. My neighbors continue to let their dog use the bathroom in front of my door and on my patrio despite complaining a few times. They refuse to put their dog on a leash, as are the rules, and take it to the area designated for pets. You can hear everything the upstairs neighbors do such as run their bath water, laying in their bed that makes noise and walking around. The apartment is fairly nice but nothing special. I am ready to get out!
My husband and two daughters lived here this past year and really enjoyed ourselves. The staff is great! The apartments and grounds were well maintained. The kids loved the pool in the summer months. We had great neighbors and no complaints. When we needed a place to move in quickly, they really helped to get us in. We have recommended them to many of our friends!
I have lived at Beau Terre for 20 years. The entire time I have received excellent service. The apartments and grounds are well maintained. The complex is quite and whenever I have needed service for repairs, it has been handled promptly. I am very pleased with how the apartments are managed. Mr. Darian Rachal
I've lived here for over a year and a half now and it is a good place to live though I will recommend not going through the cable/internet company that they initially suggest because I had nothing but problems with them when I first moved in. Now I just have AT&T for internet (as I don't watch cable TV) and have had no problems. Quiet, friendly neighborhood and staff are really nice!
I cannot recommend Beau Terre Apts. After living here a year I'm so glad to be moving. The walls are paper thin so that you can hear your neighbors talking or anyone outside or downstairs, tv noise, music, etc etc, its bad. I have had maintenance issues the entire year and still not fixed. Also, when we get a heavy rain the entire complex parking areas will flood about 12", its a mess when you have to go to work and get to wade through water. Happened 3 times this year that I can remember. The management team is not at all friendly or accommodating, they act as if they are doing you a favor to let you live here. Finally, at the end of your lease they will not allow you to continue month to month, but will require a new lease or jack your rent significantly to stay month to month.
I've stayed here for the past year. I am quite sad that I will be moving to a different city. This apartment was in a great neighborhood, not to mention the people there are awesome. I became friends with just about everyone I met on the complex, from Ms. Sunshine to people in the pool to my neighbors. I will definitely miss this place.
Whether you have a family or are a single looking for a place to live in Alexandria, La., Beau Terre Apartments is the place to choose! I have lived here for three years and have really enjoyed it. The staff is friendly, the area is safe, and the apartments are nice! There is a pool, fitness center, and laundry facility on the premises. Not to mention there is a security officer that lives here & is on call 24/7.
Excellent apartments, great service, very nice people to rent from. I have been here for 2 5 years, plan to stay as long as I can. Love the pool and workout area. If you have any problems call the staff and it will be taken care of immediately.
The apartments are well maintained and managed. The grounds are kept up well and look very nice. Any maintenance problems are taken care of very quickly. The complex is quite and a very nice place to live. There are very many friendly people living in the apartments as well.
