Property Ratings at Beaumont & Biltmore Apartments
I would only suggest living here if you have pets. The complex is proudly pet friendly which really means pets preferred: the threshold of allowed wear and tear is ridiculous. Even a simple coat of paint would do wonders. "Move-in" ready meant stained, hairy baseboards, doors, counters, walls (ceilings...there is dog hair on our ceiling and we do not have pets)...complex claims they do not spray for pests because of their pet friendly status so expect an assortment of bugs and spiders to inhabit your space. The building we rented is quiet, flooring is nice, and maintenance knows what they are doing.
1. Horrible management that lack intelligence and sympathy. They punish their paying tenants for stupid reasons 2. Maintenance takes forever to fix issues and when they do come around to fix something they do it terribly 3. The apartments look nice but are cheap and the price is expensive You can live a better place for a better price
Horrible build quality. Paper thin floors and walls. Maintenance was slow to respond to even a simple issue and management was rude at best moving out was the best thing we ever did. I have lived in homes not apartments since for less in rent with more square feet.
If I could give 0 I would. I moved in about 3 months ago and the management here is awful! The maintenance request I put in when I did the initial inspection has been ignored. They didn’t plow or shovel the parking lot or sidewalks when it snowed. They just gave notice that they are entering the apartment without proper notice. I like the apartment but hate how this place is managed. I should have selected more carefully.
This place has gotten bad over the last year. My advice is to stay as far away from here as possible. Management follows through on absolutely nothing.
When I first started the application process for these apartments the office staff was friendly and eager to help. However a year later it has been a nightmare...My roommate and I have been told different things multiple times. A great example of this is I was told that no paperwork needed to be filled out as long as a walk through was scheduled and keys were turned in that was fine. However my roommate was called and said that we owed all this money and couldn't get out of our lease till the payments were made. I'm not 100% sure what payments we need to make up though... Just ridiculous! We paid over 1200 to move in and at the end of May we can only get back 300 IF the apartment is clean enough for them. Which is ridiculous for the fact that we moved in and all the kitchen cabinets were pealing paint...the stove hood was falling apart. We also had a problem with maintenance...many times they didn't fix things properly or came barging into our apartment when no maintenance was needed. I have two dogs and do not like to lock them up all day so the maintenance guy could come but they would never properly schedule an appointment. Moving out we had multiple items that were never fixed and I will bet money that come end of May we will be charged for them. There are so many other apartments around the area I would highly advise you look into all of your options before signing a lease here.
A breath of fresh air high up on the South Hill. A view of wildlife and mountains. Peaceful and quite, you can here a pin drop. What more can you ask for''' the grass is cut for you, the swimming pool is heated and you can stay on top of your workout in the fitness room.So let our family be the next winner next month.
