Regarded as the Horse Capital of the World, Lexington is home to a number of horse farms and all kinds of equestrian events. The second largest city in Kentucky, Lexington maintains a small-town feel and progressive atmosphere thanks to an involved community and the presence of three colleges — the University of Kentucky, Transylvania University, and Bluegrass Community and Technical College.
There is something for everyone in Lexington. Sports fans enjoy the horse races at the Red Mile and Wildcats basketball games at Rupp Arena. Outdoor enthusiasts delight in the city’s thriving cycling community, as well as hiking the many trails in and near Lexington. History buffs relish access to the Mary Todd Lincoln House and Ashland: the Henry Clay Estate. Art lovers savor the plentiful art galleries, including Lexington Art League, Institute 193, and the Lyric Theatre and Cultural Center. Shoppers appreciate having the largest mall in Kentucky, Fayette Mall.

Property Ratings at Beaumont Farms Apartments
I lived there with a serious mold problem that was never fixed despite being told they cleaned prior to moving in. There was also dust and dead bugs everywhere. Colby in the office was great. Super friendly and attentive, putting in good effort. 5 stars for him.
We moved to Beaumont a year ago and feel like we have family here. It’s a great diverse community and the management care so much. Fun events, great pool and 5 min walk to Krogers and shopping.
Beaumont Farms is the best place to live. It’s clean and incredibly safe. The staff goes above and beyond to help me with any needs. Highly recommend if you’re looking to reside in Lexington!
I had a really good experience with Beaumont Farms Apartments I was there about a year and a half. I came home from being gone for the weekend once and the ceiling had leaked into the fireplace and down the wall one day later they had it fixed and they had sealed and painted. Very impressive. I had a problem once with the heat not kicking off I submitted a ticket through the portal and the next day it was fixed. Same thing with a garbage disposal issue one day later it was fixed. The office staff at Beaumont Farms Apartments is amazing they are very responsive they are kind and receptive. There is no doubt that every tenant feels valued when working with the staff at Beaumont Farms apartment complex. If you’re looking for wonderful experience in renting this is for you.
Pros: Great Location Friendly staff great walking trails Cons: Maintenance never wants to fix ANYTHING. poor air quality. one garbage site for the entire area. Electricity bill extremely high! Problems that have not been fixed: mold in air vents dirty broken garbage disposal cracks and slips in AC system (causing large amounts of dust to go through the system) possible cracks and slips in AC system in the attic insulation coming from attic door in closet
The apartments are the worst in lexington .. there is trash everywhere ... everything is old inside the apartments and keeps breaking... the managaement don't care about anything except u signing the lease after that they are extremely disrespectful ... lots of bugs in the apartment. And the list continues .. don't ever think of renting here
The apartments are horrible , appliances are old, the walls are very thin and the property is not maintained . Disrespectful management ... they'll jump at any opportunity to collect a false fee , I do not recommend this place to anyone , everyday sth needs fixing and the manager is extrmely disrespectful it's unbelievable ... don't even think of renting here.
Lovely apartment. With Nearby trail, supermarket, library , park.
My husband and I have really enjoyed living here. While our apartment is not the most updated, we haven't had any issues. Maintenance is always very prompt if we do and we love having the pool nearby. What sold us on our apartment is the location! Really close to great restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance is very convenient. Plus, being close to New Circle and Man O' War makes it easy to get around Lexington. We would highly recommend Beaumont Farms!
I have lived at Beaumont Farms for about a year now. I enjoy the property and love the location. The office staff is very friendly and seems eager to help with most issues. The main two issues that I have is that the maintenance team is slow to respond to most maintenance issues and the air conditioner has been out in the fitness center the entire summer. Overall, I am content with living here and have recently renewed my lease for 2 more years while I finish my graduate degree.
My husband and I have lived here for about three years now and we love it. These are some of the nicest apartments in Lexington and the staff are always friendly and know their residents. Whenever we have an issue or a maintenance request they always take care of it. The location is great. We love the bike/walking paths that go right past the apartments and we are walking distance from Kroger which is convenient. We also love that they have a community garden where we can have a small plot to grow things during the Spring, Summer and Fall. They also have a small dog park for us to take our dog too. Very pet friendly!
I just moved into Beaumont Farms a month ago. For context, I'm a female law student at UK living with another graduate student. We really love the complex thus far. We looked at several complexes prior to moving in and felt Beaumont Farms provided the most up to date, spacious units for the price. We have two dogs and really appreciate all of the amenities provided to dog owners: dog park, and waste receptacles throughout. Also, the trails surrounding Beaumont Farms are wonderful for biking, running, or dog walking. They are shaded and generally not too crowded. The maintenance and administrative staff are VERY friendly and have been prompt and efficient will any request we have had thus far. If you're looking for a post-grad complex this really isn't it. From what I have seen it seems to be more families and retired people.
We love living in Beaumont farms, very kid friendly!!!
Love the trails and convenience to grocery, post office, banking, and work. Clean apartments with modern facilities.
We moved in several months ago and have been very pleased with the location (excellent schools and close to shops), the pools (now that it's summer), the walking trail, and the overall complex. The management is friendly and helpful and they handle maintenance issues promptly. It's a bit expensive but overall worth it to us.
* you like professional and friendly office staff * you like great maintenance staff that fixes things in a timely manner and 24 hr, emergency maintenance (who wants to go without AC for a weekend in the middle of summer or not heat in the winter) *you like clean swimming pools with fences *location is important to be near shopping, schools ect. without feeling like your in the middle of downtown chaos * you like friendly neighbors and a beautiful neighborhood with trails and parks for kids and dogs
Beaumont Farms apartments dazzle with beautiful trees and flowers, impress with spacious living and enthrall with constant nearby activities. There are two pools, one at the front, and one at the back so there is no hassle taking a dip! The area is surrounded by big, green, lush trees that blow calmly in the wind. There is constant upkeep from laborers who keep the community aesthetically gorgeous and clean. There are a mini movie theater available to all in the main building that is great for parties or just for hanging out. The staff is extremely helpful for any maintenance emergencies. The best part about living here is the one minute walk to Kroger, which is where we do all of our grocery shopping! Also, Moondance Amphitheater is right around the corner, a one minute drive away, offering summer concerts, plays, and movies every weekend! Neighbors are nice, and rarely any trouble. Kids play in the parking lots, and their laughter fills the air. These apartments are truly diamonds in the rough!
I love the area. Everything I need is wishing 5-10 minutes away. I never have to leave. I love the amenities, there are so many. It's a family feel but I'm right out of college and fit right in. The only thing is there are a lot of children that run around the parking lots. (Mostly during summer) it's just scary to me when driving or running.
