Tucked in the northwest corner of Cook County, suburbs such as Hoffman Estates, Palatine, South Barrington and Schaumburg vary widely in personality and composition. Schaumburg, the largest in population, is home to Ikea and Woodfield Mall, the largest mall in the Chicago area. Palatine, developed on a wooded marshland, comes in at a close second in size. Hoffman Estates, while smaller, is the most densely populated of the four suburbs and is home to AT&T's Midwest headquarters and Sears Holding Corporation. South Barrington, tiny in comparison, and arguably the most affluent in the area, is home to the famous mega church, Willow Creek Community Church.
Heavy traffic can double or triple commute times, so area locals know to check the highway reports before leaving home. Normal drive time into the city from this area is about 30 minutes via the Interstate 90 tollway. An easy 20 minute drive will take residents to O'Hare International Airport.

Property Ratings at Beech Pointe Apartments
Review of Beech Pointe Apartments My wife and I just moved into Beech Pointe Apartments on the first of the month, and right away, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we received from our neighbors. In just one week, we talked to more people than we had in three years at our old place! The community here is incredibly friendly and diverse, which we absolutely love. Our first impression of the apartment was fantastic. I'm quite observant, so it was clear that whoever repainted the walls and ceiling did an exemplary job. The carpets and appliances were clean, there were no funky smells, and nothing was broken or missing. We were also pleasantly surprised to find nice-sized 4x4x12 storage units in the basement garage for residents to use and a beautiful pond with wildlife in the back, complete with a walk/bike path. The location is perfect! Jewel Osco, Tony's, and Valli Produce supermarkets are right down the street, and the Meineke Recreation Center, where we can do all our fitness activities, is less than half a mile away. We've already added a couple of great restaurants to our list, thanks to Sherri, one of the apartment managers, who recommended them to us. Speaking of staff, Sherri and Elli, who run the office, are fantastic. They are so down-to-earth and all-around nice people who made my wife and I feel very welcome. We also met a couple of members of the maintenance staff, Brian and Jason. Both are very friendly guys and were just in our apartment the other day taking care of two problems: the beginnings of a small hornet's nest outside our bedroom window and a faulty gas burner. They were very professional and came out right away. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our decision to move to Beech Pointe Apartments. The community, the staff, the amenities, and the location have all exceeded our expectations. I have a feeling this is just the first of many positive reviews I’ll be writing in the future.
If you like your money, I DO NOT recommend Beech Pointe Apartments to you. My boyfriend and I were living at Beech Pointe Apartments for 5 years; we were perfect tenants. We never had any complaints against us, we paid rent on time every time, and we were friendly with all the neighbors and staff. During the time that our lease was coming up for renewal, we informed the staff that we would be leaving, and gave them personal details as to why. Then we cleaned EVERYTHING that was on their ridiculously long and unreasonable move out list, leaving the apartment completely move-in ready. And to take it a step further, we even left them a nice thank you note saying how grateful we were for all the years that they housed us. Three weeks went by after we moved out, and we hadn't heard one word from them. We really needed the money from our deposit, so we finally decided to call them. I was transferred to Ellie who handles the finances, and she was very rude from the start. With much attitude she told me that they couldn't give us a single cent back because we didn't send them a notice in writing 30 days before our move out date….??? All that hard work we did for them to be able to rent out the place right away was for absolutely nothing. It's bad enough that the price is really high for a tiny one bedroom unit, but then they take your deposit regardless of what you do for them. This is why they deserve a one-star rating.
Good neighbors around good school a lot of parks and districts centers for kids perfect place to rase your kids.
It's very good location the best school around a lot of parks shopping moll grate place to live.
I like live it here with my daughter I am single mom it's very good aria and clouse to school .You can park your car in front the apartment I love it and I wish I can win .
I love to live there I am living for 1 year it's very good location near my girl school she starting school this year 1st great I am very excited and I wish to win free rent I am singl mom that will be great for us.
I have lived here for 15 years and have come to think of the office management, maintanence and some of the tenants as family. Anything I need, the management team helps with from taking apart a desk I was giving away to fixing a leaky toilet within an hour. The property is well maintained, they come when you call them, they will offer you upgrades when you re-sign your lease. Overall best place I have ever lived.
I've lived here for a year and have no major complaints. Some bugs and some noises issues. Office ladies are mostly nice, though Sherri can be rude at times. Rent is being raised every few months and has gone up nearly $100 in a year and a half. Other than that, I'm satisfied living here.
Apartments are nice size, well maintained. I was looking for a washer/dryer in the unit which they do not have. Otherwise, would have taken apartment.
