Property Ratings at Beechwood Apartments
First off, MANAGEMENT? The absolute WORST. Not only are they extremely RUDE, they are NOT helpful, and their communication levels are POOR. EVERYTHING you talk to them about is ever resolved. And you can only hope they don’t screw you over with rent or any other finance related matters (been there, done that!). Second, the apartments are infested with ROACHES. No amount of pest control visits can be done to make a change and they blame it on you for having them in the first place. Third, theft in the area? Pretty huge. We’ve gotten things stolen and of course they “can’t do anything about it”. Fourth, parking is the worst. People will park in your assigned spot and you’ll have no choice but to park on the street. Fifth, maintenance is absolutely AWFUL. Can’t ever fix anything the FIRST, SECOND, not even the THIRD time. Not great if your apartment’s leaking. My suggestion to ANYONE looking to rent this place, MOVE ON. I know the rent is tempting for the price, but you get what you pay for. The worst management, a roach filled apartment, and awful customer service. Oh! And did I mention how their rent is paid? ONLY BY MONEY ORDER. It’s the 21st century! The least they could do is invest in online payment. Never renting here ever again. Good luck on your search and STAY AWAY FROM BEECHWOOD APARTMENTS AT ALL COSTS!
STOP!! PLEASE MOVE ON TO THE NEXT search if you're looking for a great place to live this is not the place for you or your family.. it's not worth the money the place is infected with roaches they must have cover them up a bomb the place before I moved in.. Something Told Me don't sign the lease you're going to regret it but I was in a tight spot and I really needed to move in because of my job I should have been patient I should have looked for a better place I regret it every day 3 month left on my lease and I'm gone I don't care if I live in a cardboard box. The manager of this property is one of the most unprofessional persons I haven't spoke to in my life every time I talk to us like she has an attitude I never did nothing to the lady always paid my rent on time.
I've been a tenant for almost 3 years now. When I first came, it wasn't that bad. The quality wasn't all that, but the price was good and the area was nice. Now the management here is just awful. I get regular uncomfortable letters on my door for either demanding some kind of fee (but it doesn't explain what for, so they deliberately leave it off the paper) or some threat to evict us. They've also replaced my blinds without notice, demanding payment (no due date on the paper) then add a $90 late fee barely over a week later. And they've been pulling stunts like this for months. My advice is that the price isn't worth it anymore.
I’ll never recommend my worst enemy to live here. The management are so disorganized and so unprofessional. I’m not writing this review out of spite or because of one incident that I didn’t like. I am genuinely writing this review because I do not want no one to experience what I have experienced. This have been the worst experience. The apartments have bugs. When there is a problem and you contact the leasing office they get mad and do not come to fix the issues til weeks later. The place is so poorly managed. If you don’t believe me when getting a tour ask a resident and see how they like here and I’m willing to bet they do not like it and waiting for the lease to be up. I wasted my time here. They claim they have security around here. But they only ride through here and there. I have had my car broken into twice. I am done with beechwood.
never live in apartment complex run so poorly and so unorganized front office is so messy rude unprofessional please stay away from this place one of the worst decisions I've ever made is moving here. I try to find positive things to say about this place but I cannot think of one.
I live in a 2 bedroom 1 1/2 apartment that's huge. Master bedroom have a walk-in closet which is a bonus. Kitchen is small and dark you have to use the lights in the kitchen. Overall I love the place. Now the down size, I HATE THE PARKING!!!!!!! They need to have assigned parking space. They give us decals but visitors still park in the residents parking area which is a problem. The walls are Very thin next door and downstairs. Let me mention this again, I HATE THE PARKING!!!!!! I lived here for 6 months and I hate to move over lack of parking space
Property Manager at Beechwood Apartments, Responded To This Review
Thank you so much for your feedback. We're excited to hear how much you love your apartment, but it's unfortunate that your experiences with parking have been less than stellar. While you're correct that we don't offer assigned parking spaces for each resident, we do have ample parking on our property for all residents and their guests, and it's rare for us to hear otherwise. If you'd like to discuss this in person, please feel free to visit our on-site management office.
Lived here for a year. The staff was very friendly and always helpful, maintenance always came the same day and never had any problems with them. However, for $100 more I could find a luxury apartment compared to these. If you are looking here because its close to the base, trust me and find somewhere else, wake up an extra 15-20 min to beat the traffic because these are not worth it. The walls are extremely thin, we would hear our neighbors peeing in their bathroom next door. Everything is outdated but still liveable and works. Parking is okay, but mine and numerous other cars have been broken into. My husbands car was towed 3 times with a decal, and we still had to pay. There is a laundry facility near the office, and $1.50 per machine. 1 out of 4 dryers don't work, the machines are always stealing quarters, and every other night there is a homeless guy in there smoking weed. Sometimes it would take me $10 just to do one load of laundry. Also someone keeps smoking cigarettes too and the smell gets all over your clothes. Our particular neighbors were quiet, but down the street there was a party every weekend and someone always fighting in the parking lot. Another MAJOR thing was pur water bill. They go through some third party company to pay the water bill, and they multiply the price of water x3. We only had 2 people in our apartment and our bill was $150-200 a month, I had some friends down the street who had the same problem. We went underway for a month and the bill was still $60-70. Also you can on pay online with a card, and its a $7 fee to pay your bill each time, or mail it and go through some insane processing stuff that takes a month. As for the rent, they only take checks, maybe cash too I can't remember. Most apartments these days can take card or pay online. Last thing is the post office for this area SUCKS. I've had many many packages "lost" though we are pretty sure they were stolen, including very valuable items. The post office held our mail for months, including our bills so we had to pay hundreds in late fees. The staff are very rude. I went in saying we hadn't gotten any mail, and the Lady replied with "well maybe you have no friends and nobody wants to send you anything" and swearing they didn't have our mail on hold. I got the manager and lo and behold he found our mail -__-. Not to mention it took a month and a half to initially get our mailbox keys when its only supposed to take 10 days
I've lived in Beechwood Apartments for a few years now. Compared to many of the other surrounding apartments, I am happy with Beechwood. Unit - The unit itself has a good amount of space. My one-bedroom has a huge storage closet in the front and a small walk in closet in the bedroom. There is also a pantry and a decent size "room" for my full size washer and dryer. It could use some updating of cabinets, counter tops and fixtures, but everything is still very liveable. Maintenance - This is one of the biggest reasons that I have not moved. If I call first thing in the morning, they usually have someone fixing my problem the same day. The maintenance response time is great. Safety - I am a single woman and I feel safe here, even when I am getting home really. It's quiet and sits in between two residential neighborhoods. Many of my neighbors are service members, so that helps too lol. Parking - Parking is OK for the most part. However, there have been times if I come home late when most of the spots are taken and I have to park somewhat far. That's frustrating. I think it would be better if we had assigned spots. Extras - To be perfectly honest, Beechwood lacks many common amenities like a clubhouse, pool, business center, gym...etc. I would love to see those things at the complex. However, i understand that you get what you pay for. I am very happy with the lower rent prices to compensate for those, so I cant really complain. Overall, I like Beechwood Apartments and I would (and have in the past) definitely recommend someone looking for a new place to check them out.
Overall good apartment. Building is a little older but in great shape. Could use a lot of work though. It has a huge living room. Kitchen is on the small side as well as the laundry room. Has a vary old thermos stat, not a lot of closet space iither. But the company was vary welcoming and I feel at home
