San Ramon, less than an hour away from both Oakland and San Francisco, is a golfer’s paradise. There are a variety of options when it comes to choosing where you’d like to practice your golf swing, including the Bridges Golf Club, San Ramon Golf Club, and Canyon Lakes Golf Course and Brewery.
You don’t have to be a golfer to enjoy renting in San Ramon. The volunteer-run Forest Home Farms Historic Park is an effort committed to preserving history. You can view a slice of life from late 19th and early 20th centuries when you tour the farm and the Glass House Museum on site.
With more than 50 parks in the San Ramon city limits, it’s easy to find a place to delight in nature and partake in outdoor activities. Nearby Las Trampas Regional Wilderness is a massive park with extensive trail systems for hikers and horseback riders as well as prime bird and wildlife views. Head over to the Golden Skate, an all-ages roller rink, if you prefer to be active indoors.

Property Ratings at Bel Air
I have debated writing this review while I both currently live at this complex and I feel that a few problems here and there are expected. While I have had several issues with this apartment complex, they all pale in comparison to the condition of the apartment they turned over to us as “ready.” This ready apartment does not have a working heater, there is water damage on every single drawer surface. There is literal grime that was not cleaned on the lightswitches. There was also a broken glass bottle to the entrance of the apartments. The toilet seat rocks when you sit on it. The tile in the master bathroom is sticky and has actually slid under the shower. I emailed these issues to the property and the manager and I wasn’t even afforded the courtesy of a response. I am completely and utterly dissatisfied at this point. I would recommend you look elsewhere for a home for your family.
We rented an apartment for 3 months. At move out time we were charged for a full re-paint, carpet clean and regular clean, despite the property being cleaner than when we moved in. Do not expect to receive any deposit to be returned no matter how well you maintain the property. Truly unreasonable.
Title says it all! Also very little parking. Gates never closed.
I was living there for two years and I found everything alright until I moved out. Despite pre-inspection report that apartment was in good shape, they send me a bill worth of 1000$. I punched 6 holes to install my only curtain and took down default blinder.I was charged significant amount of money for that.I kept the apartment very clean and immaculate, but I was charged around 400$ for general cleaning and carpet cleaning. These apartments are getting into hobbit of charging every tenant after they leave on the ground that they have to clean up the apartment. According to California law these are all considered normal wear and tear and you can not be billed for them. I am well aware of my screw holes and I even got quote and the estimate was around 100-200$.I could have easily bought something and filled the holes with 8-10$.
The Leasing Agent was very helpful and helping us the right apartment for us. They have all the amenities we are looking for including a dog park and dog wash. I am very happy we found this apartment.
A great place to call "home". The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise . The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day by friendly courteous workers. The workout rooms are open daily and the pool area is lovely. I love the convenience of covered parking garage. . I live with my husband here and could not feel safer anywhere else a beautiful neighborhood with parks and trails. It could not be better located and was amidst a lot of shopping, restaurants, transportation and schools. It offered amenities that most communities did not.
Somehow, my family of six manages to fit inside a one bedroom, single floor apartment is beyond me. Our home is complete with a bunk bed that only can fit one person on the bottom, as the top bunk is used for blankets and the folded air mattress I sleep on in the living room. Also in the bedroom is a floor mattress for two people to share (as long as one of those people is Linda). The living room has two couches, one long one and another short one that just fits the length of the youngest, Linda a four year old. The eldest, Abuela, sleeps on the big couch, or if nobody uses the bed, she sleeps there. Overall, the space is adequate, yet not ideal.
