DO NOT RENT here! The worst apartments to rent from. The management and staff are no help at all, in different to the many reasonable complaints. Vehicles broken into and they knew who was doing it and would not help. Have written confirmation from them stating they knew who stole the cars. I had the worst experiences renting from this complex. Do not waste your money here.

Belara at Lakeland is great! I havent lived at an apartment since 2010 and was reluctant to rent. I am so glad I chose Belara! So quick with repairs, great with their community, and really make sure to go above and beyond for their residents!

I love it here at Belara. The apartments are beautiful, the people in this community are a good mix of your average everyday people, the landscaping is always kept up, the building maintenance is on point, the cost for the area is a good value, its tucked away in the hill but close to everything... parking used to be the only complaint most had, but that's gotten much better. I recommend Belara to all my friends.

Had to put in multiple (3 or 4) maintenance requests when I first moved in. All of the requests are things that should have been addressed prior to leasing the apartment to a new resident. Very obvious issues that were not addressed. I pay a good amount of money to rent this apartment. Having an apartment that is relatively issue free when I move in should be a no brainer.

UNSAFE - STAY AWAY
Sorry for the long review but it is worth the read if you want to know what it is really like here. My stay at Belara has been TERRIBLE. The biggest issue is that Belara is not a safe place to live! I lived here for 5 months and could not take it anymore. In the 5 months I lived here, my truck was broken into 5 times, yes, once every single month. If you want your cars broken into, your gas siphoned, and someone to steal your bike rack, this is a great place for you. But don't worry, if you start to have issues with people damaging your property, management will be happy to try up sell you on an overpriced garage as if its your fault that this is all happening. I have had my front door egged and I have seen many other cars with Eggs thrown at them as well. While not all tenants will egg your door, there are plenty others who will be rude or just obnoxiously loud. The apartments seem nice but are only superficial as far as I am concerned. Such as the tack strips in the carpet poking through far enough to go into your foot! I cannot in good conscious recommend these apartments for anyone to live in. Find anywhere else to live, PLEASE. You and everyone else will be better off for it.

The apartments at Belara are absolutely beautiful! I love the vaulted ceilings that make it seem so much more spacious. The office staff is so friendly and courteous, especially Shar, who is always so kind and gracious, ready to help. It is a wonderful community in a beautiful location.

I love living at Belara of Lakeland. Ive lived in a variety of apartments and these feel more like condos. I have high celeings and I know all my neighbors. My dog loves the dog park and the view is breathtaking at sunset.

I love living here. The apartments are very nice the grounds are kept beautiful. The person that is in charge of maintaining the grounds does a fantastic job. It is very quiet and peaceful here. Maintenance and the office personnel are very responsive whenever I contact them about whatever issue I might have. They have responded very well to the COVID-19 crisis in so far as they make sure that their own staff and the residence here are safe. Its also great to see so many families with little ones living here. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody.

I have lived in 3 apts in the last 18 years and this community by fas has been the worst! From the experience in the office with the staff, to Never any parking, to neighbors are loud 20 hours a day, to hearing someone was shot and killed while swimming in the Pool, dog poop all over potentially stepping in it, the list goes on but they did do a great job showcasing the apt virtually and before moving in it will get you. Then all hell breaks lose once youre in that contract!

I looked all over for a place to live and the minute I came up the hill I hoped the community was going to be as amazing as it looked. I couldn't have been more right. I was met with smiles and eagerness to assist me even without an appointment. Before I left, I had my background check done and got all my information for move in. The apartment was clean and move in ready. Any questions I have had, the office staff have been very generous to help me with. The community itself has been amazing with very friendly people. I feel very safe and I'm excited to now be a part of this community.
