This place is a complete mess and extremely filthy. All the appliances in my apartment keep breaking down. Maintenance couldn’t fix the water overflowing in my apartment. Despite this ongoing problem for 2 months, they’re still asking me to pay rent.I submitted a maintenance request on July 18 and have been dealing with it since then, including calling the leasing office.I was told by a receptionist that their manager can only be contacted for emergencies, so I have to wait until Monday despite the water overflowing in my apartment. My request to have 2 months of rent waived, it hasn’t been approved yet. Their app was so slow, it messed up my rent payment. They promised to fix it but never did, so I got hit with a $250 late fee.
The only good thing about this complex is the maintenance. They are quick to reply and get things done if anything breaks, which I'll admit happens pretty often. We had our washer, dryer, and microwave all replaced within months of each other. However, the management is the worst. They don't respond in a timely manner, they are frankly kind of rude, and there is no sense of urgency or sympathy. They also don't seem to communicate with one another. I turned my keys in 5 days later since I would be on a cruise when they needed me to turn my things in. They called me while I was on vacation and said "Are you going to turn your keys in today or" and when I told them I had done that days ago, I was met with attitude and a hang up. When they gave me the final quote for the apartment, it seemed awfully convenient that the direct deposit ($500) was the EXACT amount needed to "fix, clean, and replace" the things around our apartment.

I thought this was supposed to be a smoke-free property, but people smoke cigarettes and weed constantly. The smell travels through the building into other people's apartments and management does nothing to address this issue. The lease states: “Smoking anywhere inside buildings which includes entrances and exit doors of the dwelling community is strictly prohibited.” “Smoking on balconies, patios, and limited common areas attached to or outside your dwelling is not permitted.” So, smoking is a clear violation of the lease agreement. Overall, it's unfair to those of us who do not smoke and do not want to deal with the detrimental health effects of inhaling secondhand smoke. What attracted me to Bell is that it was advertised as a smoke-free environment. If that is not the case, there is no reason to live here.

Not worth the price. Too focused on upgrading amenities to market the place rather than making it actually nice to live within. The lack of care by maintenance and the leasing staff shows in how the residents treat the property. Lack of communication by leasing staff on issues throughout (the compacter being broken for months with no updates to residents on what to do or when it might be fixed.

A good place to live especially if you have small children.
This place is horrible. Maintenance is literally useless and management will do nothing to help. I have been without air conditioning in the middle of JULY for over a WEEK. The apartment reaches almost 90 degrees inside daily and the complex still refuses us to refund us for days we can't even stay in the unit due to the heat.

I have only recently moved in, but I like the apartment and the overall look of the complex. Lovely view of interior trees from my balcony. Maintenance requests have been handled fairly quickly. I have yet to avail myself of clubhouse amenities

The management with Bell Management leaves much to be desired. First, there is little to no notice for when maintenance is coming to your unit for routine duties. When they do come, they do not allow enough time for you to answer the door prior to entering the unit. When calling the leasing center, no one normally answers the phone and you are left leaving a voicemail. No one usually calls you back to follow up in any concerns. The price to pay your rent using a credit or debit card, which is $50 is outrageous. There are several miscellaneous charges on your bill, to include the printing of the bill, yet there is no option for paperless billing. Also, you are charged for things that should be included in the rent, like the fee for upkeep and cleaning of the property. Although things like my balcony, building hallways and doors, etc have not been cleaned. Also, every month we are charged a $1 for pest control. I never have had anyone come into my unit to check or treat for pests. The toilets are very sensitive and frequently become stopped up. There is much to be corrected from this company.
If youre considering moving into this picturesque apartment-be aware its all youre getting. With a terrible maintenance team, it can take several weeks before anyone looks at a concern, if they do at all. There is little communication and with such a HEFTY price tag- if you do decide to sign a lease make sure you look at the lease break which is over 5k if you decide you cant handle living in ill-maintained units. Also due to the construction of the apartments-noise travels very easily and loudly at all hours of the night. I know our very polite upstairs neighbors shower schedule because of how much noise it makes.

Great apartment complex. I've rarely ever had to put in any maintenance requests, which saves me time and allows me to enjoy my apartment to the full.
This place is an excellent place to live if you like having a different apartment issue every day. The maintenance staff is a joke and typically take weeks to show up. Overall this experience here has been very poor and would never recommend this place to anyone.
Maintenance is a disaster. Price looks ok compared to others but the other fees make it beyond the near by apartments. They offer 5 days trash service and they charge for that but it is actually 3 days a week. Even if it is not their fault the electricity and gas bill are way too high.
We stay 2and half year in westwind farm apartment with very active service staff , friendly and responsible office staff and very friendly surrounding . We don’t face any issue during our stay and the office staff are so helpful for all sort of issue. I must recommend .

I've lived here for about 1.5yrs. Its a big complex, lots of different floor plans, and reasonable pricing. They have upgraded units which have granite countertops and fake wood floors which cost a bit extra, those are the only ones I've been in, so I can't speak to the original finish ones. The leasing staff is nice, gym is small, but clean. Pool is a decent size and is well kept. It is a really safe neighborhood, and they have a dog park (very, very tiny) that is nice to bring my dogs to. Plenty of parking as well! Overall it is a decent complex. : ) Cons: - the trash facilities are gross 75% of the time, overflowing with trash. If you are only getting rid of regular trash, you won't have to deal with it because they have valet trash - which is part of your additional fee on top of your rent, along with mandatory cable ($50). - the maintenance staff are two very old guys, and are really nice, but sometimes you have to put in a request more than once in order for it to get fixed. - The floors aren't very soundproof, but aren't horrible. - Be careful if you rent a unit above a garage, as you will feel them opening it

To touch on a couple of items, we have switched trash haulers and expect to have much better service and less mess moving forward. We have made big changes this year in terms of restructuring our maintenance department and hope you will find that service is much more expedient once we are past the initial bumps. Zero stars. DONT MOVE HERE. Worst service experience ever. Nobody will show up for maintenance requests. They have mandatory 50 dollar Comcast basic TV package. What a BS! All the one star reviews are true with my experience.

Hopefully you get lucky with a good experience - but my experience was awful. My ceiling leaked for 4 months straight and then they patched it up. Each month the cracks reappeared and 6 months later it started leaking again. Instead of management moving us at all with paying for our movers into a safe apartment, they left us with a completely open ceiling with wet banisters. Thankfully we move out before we can experience the ceiling cracking back open, but for sure above the ceiling there is wetness, which could lead to mold. I hope the best for those taking over this dreadful apartment.
I am living in here for last 10 months. Wrost service and they don't care for residents. No courtesy towards residents and people. They don't deserve not even one star rating .
I have lived here for a year and a half and have experienced one issue after another. Customer service in the leasing office is horrible, employees lack basic knowledge of my bill, there are hidden fees for everything, and maintenance problems are only partially resolved. I'm counting down the days until I can move out!
Since I moved in, I have not had any reason to stay anything negative about this apartment. It is a friendly environment.
Westwind farms is a quiet and clean community with all the amenities you could ever want in an apartment. I am happy to call it home.
While my opinion is based on this being my first apartment to live in since I was in the Air Force or was married and owned a house for most of my adult life. The Westwind apartments are average. There are no frills in the apartment and very little in the apartment complex. They have a pool and small gym and try to promote community events which I have not attended. The complex itself is not within walking distance of any restaurants, stores, or entertainment which is bad compared to many other apartment communities within a few mile radius of Westwind. I will not be renewing my lease but will find a place close to activity and has some frills in the apartment.
This is my first apartment experience, and I'm happy with Westward so far. The rent is reasonable for what you get and it's clean. It's a one bedroom, one bathroom with nice high ceilings, great big windows that let in a lot of natural light, and a decent sized patio- not to mention a huge tub, and two sink vanity in the bathroom. A nice perk for me was that the apartment is pet friendly, and has a decent gym that is open until midnight. The only oddity was when we moved in, the water was always cold! After a quick work order, the maintenance worker came in and fixed the issue- he said a valve had been turned down while the apartment was vacant and never set back to normal.
