Since new apartment manager in place, everything seems at peace and confidence restored with communication and needs. Maintenance is very good here, polite and do their best. Manager is open to communicate and shows desire to discuss, but is honest in what can be done and I appreciate that. I feel safe now and everything getting back to normal. Going on 5 years living here.
Maintenance is everything in an apartment complex and Bell Austin Southwest has the best in Austin
I have lived at Bell Austin Southwest for 9 months. I have found the grounds and amenity spaces to be clean and safe, the office and maintenance staff to be friendly and responsive, and the location ideal. It is close to Bowie High School. There are also many places to shop within 10-15 minutes, as well as access to both Routes 1 and 35. My apartment is set back from the main road; roadway noise has not been a problem here. Bell Austin Southwest is worth checking out.
I like living here at Bell Austin Southwest because it is mainly quiet and professionally managed well.
Bell Austin is my first apartment experience after many years of home ownership, and I had no idea what to expect. I have been here three years and have been very pleased with the facility and the staff.
Friendly staff, well kept property. Far enough away from Downtown you can see stars at night and get away from the hustle of the city but close enough to be there for a spontaneous dinner after the traffic rush.
I moved in a week ago and have been very impressed with the entire process. Whitney and Susan were great to work with throughout the process of moving from Chicago to Austin. I love my new home and the community is beautiful and quiet. Would highly recommend Bell Austin Southwest.
If you love Austin, dogs, and a neighborly atmosphere with a few stray cats then this community is a good fit. Many residents stay active with daily routines, the gym or the pool keep others having fun or fit. The office staff goes beyond the definition of helpful. There is always a friendly welcoming face when walking into the office along with many laughs while spending time getting to know one another.
Bell Austin Southwest is a wonderful place to call home especially if you are a student. Very safe place to live if you are by yourself and reasonably priced for Austin.
I really appreciate the Bell Austin Southwest staff for all their efforts in keeping our community a desirable place to call home.

Location location location and a great staff to assist in any capacity. I like my floor plan 1bed 1bath but open space. Great amenities and friendly neighbors

Staff is always friendly and helpful, the events they create are very nice and generous, very peaceful place to live and I generally feel safe here.

Bell Austin is probably one of the best apartments Ive ever lived in. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. I recently moved to Austin and they made the move in process extremely simple. And they take care of the needs of their tenants.
The Bell Austin Southwest is a beautiful community to live in. The maintenance is fast and responsive, the community is well kept, the location is perfect, and I feel very safe! I would recommend living here!

Bell communities take great care of their residents.
Bell Austin Southwest communicates very well through email about what is going on or what will be taking place. They do their best to appreciate their tenants by offering food or appreciation events when they can.
I moved here from out of state, sight unseen. I wasnt expecting much, and Bell Austin exceeded my expectations. The apartment was clean when my partner and I moved in. The community is always clean and the 24 hour gym is great for our lifestyle. Our apartment backs up to a nature preserve, and although it located on a busy street, the nature preserve brings lots of privacy. We will definitely be renewing our lease here.
Bell Austin Southwest is a fantastic place to call home. The staff have always been super friendly and helpful and they have made my time here very enjoyable.

I went into meet with the new property manager Daniel. I proceeded to inform him of the ongoing issues to the common areas. When I expressed concern about pool gates all being locked except for one on Sunday, July 20th, he advised abruptly the matter is resolved and that he has staff in place so weekend temps who do not know how the complex is run, will not be necessary. When I probed about the cleanliness of the pool along with the aerators not always being on, he was combative stating the pool is cleaned Monday thru Friday and they will not have anyone clean over the weekend. He further went on to state the aerators are for aesthetics and serve no other purpose. I corrected him that the aerators assist with cooling down the pool which his response was “this is Texas a swimming pool can’t be cooled”. Rather then get into a debate regarding what an aerator is for since I am from phoenix and swimming pools there need the aerators as they serve to cool the pool by a few degrees, I proceeded to inform him of the hot tub not working. He again was dismissive stating people keep hitting the emergency shut off which apparently trips the electrical switch. My recommendation was that his staff check the pool area as part of their check list and see if the equipment is working. He then informed me his staff are not pool technicians which I find absurd as it doesn’t take much to identify a problem and have their maintenance people resolve. This of course he confirmed maintenance is not available on the weekends and the hot tub not working is not a maintenance emergency. I then stated these are amenities we the tenants are paying for which he then corrected me that our rent doesn’t pay for amenities. He made it appear that the complex was graciously providing these amenities for tenants to use. I again corrected him that the complex uses the amenities to attract tenants to rent from them. Further the apartment web site advertises both community amenities and apartment amenities. To say a tenant is not paying to use these amenities is also absurd. You advertise the amenities to compete with other complexes and if your amenities do not work, it is up to the complex to fix otherwise it is a bait and switch tactic. What good are amenities if they can’t be used? Further, why will the complex not have a part time maintenance person on the weekend especially during peak summer times?

Beautiful apartments, great friendly community. Good access to all you need. Good grocery shopping, medical care and live music. Dog friendly...I call it Dogs on Parade I am disabled/wheelchair and go outside early AM and get to pet all as getting used to me....reminds me out of doggie treats

The maintenance staff at Bell Austin Southwest is the best! Robert and Sebastian and all the maintenance personnel are competent, knowledgeable, and friendly. I have complete confidence that any request will be handled quickly and efficiently.
I just wanted to give a shoutout to the maintenance staff at Bell Austin Southwest. I have lived here for about 2.5 years now, and they have always responded to our requests diligently and in a timely fashion. In addition, they are extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable, and always complete my requests with exceptional accuracy. Robert and Vincent recently helped fix minor problems with our AC unit as well as with our refrigerator. I am very grateful for their consistent willingness to help, even at inconvenient times of the day. They definitely care about the residents satisfaction and well-being.
I have lived here for almost two years ....very nice quiet community...friendly management staff...not major issues...would recommend if you are looking for a carefree place to live in south austin
