Property Ratings at Bell Flatirons
I am a current resident. Do not bother. The prices this community charges for several fake bells and whistles is absurd. My development’s pool continues to be closed and has been delayed near indefinitely since I moved in despite being told I’d have it for the summer. The main pool is a free for all that they cannot manage. It’s full of unauthorized guests smoking and drinking any nice day blasting music to insane levels. The package system is a nightmare. They make you pay for package boxes which half the delivery services completely ignore and throw packages at random houses. I have no idea what the system is - sometimes I need to be home for packages other times they’ll show up at the boxes. Don’t get me started on “valet trash”. Only when the workers feel like it. If it’s raining on a pick up day? Trust me, it won’t get picked up. Then squirrels will rip wholes in the bag and plastic can, and the workers will then leave your bag there indefinitely. I was lucky today to see the workers literally decide not to take my bag as I was leaving when they were getting my neighbors. They never came back and I took my trash out to their pile. I wouldn’t care if this wasn’t a service that we are paying for as part of our rent. This is a luxury apartment that runs its amenities through cheap third parties that continually drop the ball. Completely disappointed at my experience here and do not recommend leasing for the rip off prices when all that was promises turned out to be legitimate lies.
The worst, renting experience I have ever had. Maintenance takes months to get to a ticket. I even had tickets open that they claim to closed in. The work was never done. You will get no support from management and just time we will look into it. I have had a smoke detector chirping for 2 weeks and they still have no been to my apartment. I filed the the BBB and they refused response. You will pay top dollar for a terrible experience.

Beware of the nice online photos and newly updated “model units”. The real units look nothing like what they show you. Very run down and poorly maintained. The trash situation is out of control, parking is ridicules, they charge you to park , even in your own driveway! We moved out after 45 days because it was so bad. Maintenance requests went unanswered, pools and facilities closed or poorly maintained, leaky windows that let water in each time it rained.

tl;dr - This place sucks and will take 7 months to repair serious maintenance issues. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! On day one the dishwasher was leaking significantly, the clothes washer would only put out boiling hot water (it was improperly installed causing the cold water not to work), one of the stove burners was broken and would only work at max setting, there was significant mold and water damage in both bathrooms and kitchen (was shown a model unit and was not allowed to see the actual apartment). Along with a dozen other issues. After several calls and office visits they finally came to fix the clothes washer and dishwasher after 1 month of them being broken, they ended up installing the dishwasher incorrectly, and I had to personally fix it myself. They took 7 MONTHS to inspect and fix the stove. One of the toilets was leaking, and the pull-out hose for the sink exploded, I ended up fixing those issues myself after 1 week of no responses, I am glad I fixed them myself also, because 2 months AFTER I submitted the maintenance for both issues they finally called to get them repaired. 2 MONTHS is not an acceptable time frame to fix a broken kitchen sink. There were several other maintenance issues not mentioned here, but all of the issues had similar lack of maintenance. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!

This morning after calling 911 thinking our SUV was stolen, break-ins are extremely common here even by the administration,we found out it got towed. Our car dealer gave us a spare car while they work on ours. They brought us the SUV yesterday late afternoon, and when I was leaving for work this morning at 6am, my vehicle wasn't there. Lost a day of work,my wife lost some appointments, my children didn't make it to school and on top of everything they e pect me to pay $350 to get my car back... Again, beware!! They're all smiles and rainbows until you move in,don't let the view on the mountain fool you, this people are beyond terrible, notice that only the reviews of people recently moved in are good,anyone who's been living here over a couple of months will back up what I'm saying here. That's without mentioning that the common areas never work, the staff is subcompetent, dog poop everywhere, etc,etc... Hope whoever reads this knows its only to keep you from joining this nightmare of resindential.

If you’re considering Bell Flatirons as an option, I’d strongly caution you against it. As a current renter I feel obligated to give some public feedback--there are some serious issues that are deeply out of order here. I’ll detail them briefly: 1. Parking. There are woefully few spaces to park. If you intend on ever having guests or require extra parking for multiple vehicles, you’re in for a headache and hike. Not only that, they require you to purchase a permit for each vehicle (even short term guests need to purchase them). My boyfriend’s vehicle has been towed for having 2 wheels in the street. The other two were in my own driveway. Multiple neighbors have been towed as well, it’s not an isolated problem. There is no notification given to those towed regarding the location of their vehicle, much less a text warning system to prevent the need for towing in the first place. 2. Trash removal is abysmal. They require you to purchase trash removal services, which may or may not pick up your trash on a specified day/time. Trash often sits out for multiple days on the streetside or various grounds of the complex. You will be charged a penalty if you’ve put your trash out too early, or too late. These hours are seemingly arbitrary. Cart your own trash? You still have to pay the fee. 3. Dog waste. The designated dog waste trash cans throughout the grounds are overflowing with bags of dog waste. The smell is putrid. Aside from maintenance staff (which responds rather quickly, and have always resolved problems for us), the Resident Services staff performance has been consistently substandard. Questions or appeals to management are routinely ignored, or you’re given copy/paste responses. 5. Check out the positive reviews for yourself a little more closely. The majority are reviews from Maintenance services performed. They’re not reviews of the business itself. We were fooled by this initially, and I wish we would have inspected closer. 6. Poorly maintained community facilities. The pools are closed for months at a time, and some have been permanently shut due to covid. 7. Crime. Prepare for regular alerts about mail break ins, car break-ins, or even the occasional car chase that results in the entire complex being surrounded by armed cops.

Bell Flatirons is beautiful! We can see the mountains from our bedroom and we back up into Autrey park with a dog park and bike trails. The leasing office / community center is stunning and there are so many things to do!

Nice community, safe, and has a lot of space. However, prices are high and they make it impossible to end a lease without charging insane fees despite new occupations and relocation.
The leasing office staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The apartments are gorgeous. Looking forward to taking advantage of the swimming pool and fishing pond, especially checking out kayaks!
I've enjoyed my apartment with a view of the mountains. Staff is friendly and helpful. Remember to write your request online. Resident/staff verbal communication is not passed on very well. Bell is a friendly community with many people enjoying the included surrounding and included outdoor opportunities. Thanks to the staff.

Horrible living experience. Massive amounts of crime. Cars stolen, garages broken into nightly, mailboxes broken into. Shelter in place warnings. No amenities. All pools closed. Massive amounts of dog waste and trash everywhere. Horrible office staff. Maintenance requests take weeks. They dont care about you only your money because "they have so many residents " Rent payment system glitches and they send out eviction notices instead of calling residents.

Lived here almost two years and the apartment suits our needs. Great location, very quiet and the staff are always helpful. Landscaping needs to be improved.
Bell Flatiron sells amenities that do not work and then justified that is not including in the rent. They force you to use Valet Trash pick-up services that do not work.
Beautiful apartment complex. Easy access to US36, next to the Flatiron Mall, Safeway, Walmart and many restaurants nearby. The staffs are courteous and they always willing to help.

Everything aspect of living here has been smooth and without issue. The people involved are friendly and seem to really care. I'm allowed to have my pets and live comfortably for a reasonable price. That's all I need.
Amenities are excellent. Definitely make sure you look at your unit before signing a lease. All of our trim if you can call it that is old and replaced with cheap rubber, our tile is completely out of level in the kitchen. For the price to live here youd expect luxury and thats not the case.
Wonderful customer service when they do come to fix any issues.
It is a well maintained complex with many amenities. The mature landscape was the clincher. Response to an energency maintenance problem is immediate, no matter what time. Friendly staff. Even though this is a large apartment complex, it is not cold and impersonal. I believe you would enjoy living here.
We love the staff at BFI - they are kind and knowledgeable. We love our unit - the unit is beautiful, we have a great view and the ground are kept so nicely. We will be sad to leave when we buy a house.
Very nice apartment and quiet neighborhood. The staff in general are helpful, courteous and friendly. Landscaping in our vicinity is a disgrace and we are forever picking up trash. We have decided our standards and expectations must be too high.

I have lived here for a year and a half a lot of it during COVID 19. I don't think management handled it very well. Close down all amenities. Imposed parking restrictions with threats of fines, imposed new trash restrictions with threats of fines, refuses to do anything to address security threats with cars being broken into nightly, but was more than happy to raise my rent.
We love living here. The units are beautiful and reasonably priced for the area. It is quiet. The grounds and buildings are well maintained and the staff is super helpful.
Its great, just over priced. Maintance takes forever to come and fix anything. Cant use the amenities unless your in the lease.
I have lived at Bell Flatirons for almost 5 years and have enjoyed this community so much! There are great amenities and it is so close to so many places for outdoor activities, which is absolutely crucial these days. I have always been well taken care of by the office and maintenance staff.
Nice maintenance team, they will respond on time whenever I raise a ticket to them.

Complex is clean, good lighting, the new parking rules need to be better monitored by the company that was contracted with . Those fees for parking should be absorbed by Bell Fkatirons.

After about 1 month of living here, I cannot in good conscience recommend Bell Flatirons to anyone because of the excessive response maintenance times. However, I am hopeful that this will improve.

In this tough time most of the amenities were discontinued without any compensation to its residents. The staff is friendly when it comes to locking in a lease, but terminating and transitioning out of the complex is another story . BEWARE! They require a 60 day notice of exit , even though there is a lease ending date .They will not reach out or contact you . I would not recommend living here . There are surrounding apartment complexes with working amenities and a more professional staff . Some of my coworkers also live in this complex and have faced similar difficulties. I hope this review saves prospective residents some grief. Good luck
