Mountain Island is a serene suburb with a pastoral feel. This verdant community sits just 10 miles northwest of Uptown Charlotte but feels a world away from big-city living. This complex has constant car break ins and complete car being stolen. The company does nothing to secure the property. For the prices that they charge they should have competent security that can prevent these things. Please save yourself and look somewhere else. THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH IT. KEEP YOIR FAMILY SAFE!!

The staff of the leasing office and maintenance are very kind, friendly, and professional. I have always been able to find the necessary help when I needed it.
Bell Riverbend is very Convenient to many every day things,to name a few,shopping,variety of places to eat and on a day after a hard day at work you have a nice spot to relax,sitting by the fireplace at the pool

Personally, for the rent they charge here- go somewhere else. I have had nonstop issues since I have moved in. My apartment wasn't ready when I moved in and the things that needed to be fixed took 6 plus weeks to resolve. This is supposed to be a non- smoking property- I see and smell people smoking (and just not cigarettes). People do not pick up after their pets (there needs to be additional pet stations set up) and they need to keep the pet stations stocked. I can't tell you how many times I have walked past several of the dog stations and everyone does not have any bags. Pet Breed Restrictions? A joke... Pitt Bulls all over the place. There are several Cars that are abandoned and also a lot of cars with expired tags. There is one apartment on the corner where their dog obviously attacked every single blind in the apartment. Management has not required that resident to change the blinds out in that apartment. Looks extremely trashy. Resident Events? A Joke. They plan them around THEIR work schedule. " Resident Breakfasts" are at 10 am when most people are gone to work between 7- 8 am. We've had issues with car break ins and even had a gunshot about a month ago. Mangement claims that we have "on site security" but my neighbors and myself can say none of us has ever seen them. Packages have been stolen out of the package room. I realize most of this stuff can happen elsewhere, but the lack of response / LIES from the office is what sets this group apart from the rest. Maybe if the Mangement started enforcing the lease everyone signed, this place may be a better place to live. Until they can get the riff raff out of here and get new office staff- I'd stay away.
Maintenance requests do take some time to be resolved. I do have to remind management about what maintenance orders I have placed. You have to bug management to get resolved. The mail here is an issue. Nothing can be delivered to your door, I’ve had a package stolen. Even the mail room I don’t trust. The lockers are fine though. I do wish that the 1st story of the club house stayed open past 5/6. I am a student and would be a great place to study and the new renovations look great. I also wish there is recycling. All of the trash gets picked up in one truck so I know all of it’s just going to a landfill and there is no separate pile for recyclables. Other than all that and the loud neighbors, I actually do enjoy living here.
Bell Riverbend Village is a friendly community. The amenities both in the apartment and apartment community literally make you want to never leave home and excited to get back him when your done .

I have been a resident for about 2 years now and the first one in my unit. Since the new management has taken over, there has been several improvements and communication. Overall, it has been a great place to live in a great location.
I have been here for 8 months now and it has become my little peace on Earth. The community, the location, the price, and the amenities as well fit my lifestyle. I am eager to lock in a 2nd year to maintain another period of peace at this complex. Thanks for addressing so many things and bring some connection to the staff in your regular communication. I thought new management was going to be an improvement, but sadly it is not. The complex has gotten trashier both literally and figuratively.
