Property Ratings at Bell Watertown
I can't say enough how wonderful living here has been! We relocated from South Florida and the staff couldn't have been more helpful from the start. Lori sent so many pictures of different available units and really made our move as seamless as possible. When we moved in the apartment was not only in perfect condition but they had toilet paper, soaps and sponges all laid out for us with a packet of local pizza places that deliver. Such a nice touch after driving for 2 whole days. The apartment itself has beautiful finishes and high quality appliances. The neighbors are friendly and to top it all off the onsite dog park has turf! No more muddy pups! If you're on the fence about moving here, do it. You won't regret it :)
Bell Watertown is a nice, quiet community in an excellent location. The staff and management are stellar — professional, responsive, and really seem to care about making sure residents needs are met and the community is a happy one. The apartments and amenities probably are exactly what you’d expect for a luxury apartment complex of this type. The buildings are built in a way that does allow a good bit of noise through from nearby units in some cases, so make sure to double-check on that if it’s something you’re especially sensitive about. Otherwise, it’s a great little community nestled into a quiet area and super convenient location. Best of all, it’s pretty easy to bike or walk over to the beautiful paths and parks along the Charles river which continue all the way into Boston. There’s also very convenient shopping and delivery options very close by without the area feeling overly commercial for a residence. The dog park and paths nearby are fantastic if you have a dog, too. Also, parking, plowing, and trash services are always great. Awesome and super friendly maintenance staff too! Overall, Bell Watertown is an excellent option in this area if it fits your needs and price range.
Bell Watertown is an ok place to live for a while. I don’t know how they can advertise as “luxury” apartments though - you can tell the buildings were put up in a hurry. In our particular unit, the vinyl flooring is peeling up in a number of places. Almost all of the interior doors are difficult to open/close or are coming off their hinges. The sink in the guest bathroom is installed at an angle, so water pools and molds if you don’t soak up the water every time you use the sink. The playground on site is hazardous, with exposed sharp screws and splintering wood. For what we pay in rent, I’d expect more. On the positive side, all the people who work here are lovely & the pool and exercise room are quite nice.
I have been very pleased with the management at Bell Watertown. They helped me feel at home right away, and living here has been such a pleasure. The buildings and grounds are beautiful and perfectly maintained, and the special events have been a fun surprise. My dog doesn't swim, but we both had a good time at the Pooch Pool Plunge!
My little piece of heaven very thankful and grateful to live in such a nice place that I call home
I really appreciate having had the chance to work with Karen. She was extremely patient, and thoughtful and overall made what I assumed to be a stressful experience the complete opposite. If you need support looking for an apartment and want someone to be attentive to your needs, she'll be your go-to. She focuses on making sure you're well-informed before making a decision, and she has a great sense of humor. Highly recommend working with Karen! 10/10!!!
I really enjoy living at the Bell Watertown complex. The managers are friendly and accommodating. The well-maintained buildings and adjoining territory make for a comfortable living environment.
We were relocating from out of state, and everything was smooth and seamless as we navigating finding an apartment with Bell.
Very nice and well-managed apartment complex in a great location and with a friendly neighborhood sense of community.
I truly enjoy living at Bell Watertown. Karen, Lori, Miguel and Sam make the community enjoyable. They listen to our issues and solve them in a timely manner. Karen has the biggest heart and she is wonderful. She always brightens up my day when I stop in to get mail. Thank you all for positively impacting my life.
Great leasing staff with lots of green space and nice amenities. There's also lots of cute dogs.
Great location, floor plan, convenience and Staff!
Bell Watertown is a lovely, quiet community nestled within a busier area. Easy access to nearby grocers, services, shopping, and commuting routes make it a great option. The dog park is great! The community here is friendly and considerate. To be fair, the buildings’ construction lets a bit of noise through if you’re sensitive to that, but the same can be true of any multi-unit building or apartment complex. Overall, it’s one of many fairly good options in the area and is worth considering if it might suit your needs.
There are few things in my life that i Regret- Choosing to live at Bell Watertown is one of them- Daily Regret..
Definitely need more security. Possibly cameras.Several items of mine were stolen and I wasn't happy.I do like luving here!
Lori and Karen are great Sam and Miguel are great Making better choices who lives here would make our little piece of Heaven come back It was number one in my book Now you have to watch or look never know what is around that corner God bless Pamela
I love Bellwatertown Apts. I feel my family and I are safe. The apartment homes are beautiful. The staff is amazing and very helpful.
Lovely complex to live at going on my 5th year & I intend to call my home for along time to come. Great location with a private community feel! Only negative is the landscape at the 200 Building entrance has been ignored for way too long & needs to be improved to make it more attractive & welcoming (as is the 300 Building Entrance)!
I love living at Bell Watertown. I came from the city as was worried I would miss it but the amenities and community feel make me so happy I made the switch!
My unit was not inspected. My garbage disposal was rusted out and water poured out into my cabinets. My cabinets and drawers were heavily damaged, with multiple drawers not having any bottoms to them. The walls were chipped and damaged. The floors were damaged and filthy. The blinds were broken. The washer and dryer did not work at all. And the Bell Watertown did not inform me that access to a sprinkler system hookup for a public park was inside my bedroom. When my concerns were brought up, the Bell Watertown fixed many of the issues quickly. But they dismissed my concerns regarding the sprinkler hookup as only a minor intrusion, despite the fact that it was intentionally hidden from me. The Bell Watertown then took over a month to fix my washer and dryer. I have paid for a product that took over a month to be fully delivered. I do not believe that the Bell would have delivered that product fully if I had not persisted and demanded that I get what I paid for. Furthermore, telling me that some of my concerns regarding the invasion of my privacy were not valid was highly unprofessional and out of line. Not including information regarding the sprinkler hookup in my bedroom makes me wonder what else was intentionally left out of my lease and hidden from me. I cant think of a worse way to begin my stay.
Bell is a great community to live in. The amenities are great, the grounds are well kept, and the staff is fantastic. This is a great place to live, especially if you have a pet.
Great location and staff for young professionals who commute in and around Boston. Modern apartment style with nice amenities, and decent storage space within the apartment.
Awesome staff and great location. Will definitely recommend it to working professionals and families
This place is a little piece of heaven That is what I think
I am extremely and completely over- joyed and excited. Being a new resident, everytime that I walk into my unit I still can not believe that I have found my forever home. Bell Watertown property is beautiful and has everything you have ever wanted an more. I truly believe that after viewing this property your housing search will end here at Bell Watertown. I feel this strongly about this place and I have only been here for a full 10 days. Even all the office and maintenance personal make you feel welcomed and at ease.
poor for the last 2 years this is the do-nothing management
The team at Bell Watertown is top-notch. Thank you for all you are doing for us day in and day out!
In the short two weeks of living here, Im impressed with the upkeep of the grounds, friendliness of the staff and quietness of the area. Im pleased with living here
I love living at Bell Watertown, and I have been here since the beginning. The management and maintenance teams do an excellent job, and the grounds and buildings are kept in beautiful condition.
Overall, living at Bell is great. The management staff is always fantastic and the neighbors are friendly. The amenities and common areas are always clean, and it is very safe. My only complaint is the trash and recycling areas.
It WAS great. Now just average. Needs an upgrade to buildings - painting on the exterior and interior, new carpeting in hallways. Exterior windows have never been washed. Maintenance staff is great. Management could be much improved (not knowledgable and doesn't patrol area or know of or act on issues unless multiple residents complain. I've been a resident for 6 years and am considering moving because this place is going down the tubes.
Bell Watertown is the best living I ever experience in my life starting from the interaction with the maintenance team to the introduction with management !!!
Bell Watertown is a great place! As I first arrived, I realized a few little things needed to be fixed in the apartment and went to the office to report it. A property manager came and fixed everything within 48h. Additionally, having amenities such as the gym is very convenient. I am happy to be a Bell Watertown resident!
The animals here are quiet and friendly. Owners take care to keep them in tow.
Bell Watertown is a hidden gem of the Boston area.
Love living here - Staff/Management is super attentive and always welcoming, and units are beautiful.
This is by and far our best rental experience ever. The entire staff is friendly, cares deeply and responds quickly. I feel we can speak from experience having been here 5 years.
My World has changed since I changed my Apartment.
Blueprint shown when I signed lease does not match unit. There is HVAC/condenser right above my bedroom so all I hear is industrial size fan noise and vibration that turns on and off repeatedly.
Property Manager at Bell Watertown, Responded To This Review
Hello Jay, thank you for the review. The team has installed anti-vibration pads underneath all of the condensers on the roof, and the community manager plans on personally coming up to your unit to gauge the level of noise it emits. In regards to the floor plan, there is a slight difference in that you cannot walk through the closet in the second bedroom. If you have any more questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the onsite management team! - Marjorie, Bell Customer Service
Very modern community and the staff is extremely polite, responsive, and professional. The building and entire grounds are clean and well maintained every day. It's a great location that offers cozy living, yet it's only a short drive into the bustling city of Boston.
One of the best apartments in Boston. Value for money!

The apartment has new appliances and was freshly painted when we moved in. Amenities are great. Office staff is beyond helpful. I'm so glad we moved!!!
