Norcross is a small suburban community located about 30 minutes northeast of downtown Atlanta. Three of the region’s major thoroughfares (Interstate 85, Buford Highway, and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard) connect Norcross to Atlanta proper, giving folks easy access to the larger city for work or leisure. While mainly residential, Norcross does feature an attractive downtown area filled with unique shops and eateries, and residents enjoy prime access to the international restaurants and grocery stores along Buford Highway.
The city bills itself as “a place to imagine,” and the environment is certainly conducive to creativity: Between the libraries, the art centers, the concerts at Thrasher Park, and the stage productions of the local theater company, it’s a great atmosphere for folks who appreciate stimulating culture in a low-key setting.

Property Ratings at Bella Apartments
I've experienced nothing but professionalsim and knowledgeable leasing agents from the beginning! My main leasing agent, Crystal was such a joy to work with. She answered all my questions and concerns in a timely manner and made sure I understood everything every time I came in. Karen was her back up when Crystal was out of office and she was just as wonderful and knowledgeable. She made sure all my requests were met, and even walked with me to my new unit! (I live close to the office). The manager Claribel called me to make sure my maintenance request had been fulfilled after putting in a work order. I've lived in a lot of places and had NEVER experienced that before. Her assistant Melissa never comes in without a smile and offered me drinks and snack while waiting on my paperwork. Jeriel is a new face in the office BUT a nice person who offered to help anyway he could. He will make a great addition to this all-star staff at this property. It's unfortunate i can't give them more stars on this review. A big THANK YOU to the leasing agents, manager, and assistant manager. I won't be going anywhere for a while. Keep up the good/hard work! Regards, Jerry Smith
Never live in these apartments! I gave them my 60-day lease termination notice and they accepted it along with a separate notice from the person I was living with. I then left the apartment a day early of the lease termination in order to move out of state and within that day my roommate decided to cancel the termination notice but I was not notified by Bella and I did not sign any forms saying I wanted to cancel the termination notice. Now I am going back and forth with the leasing office trying to remove my name but they are being very difficult and are no help at all.
The property management couldn’t care less about their tenants. I’ve had a broken balcony door since I moved here & have told the leasing office about it multiple times & they have done nothing! Recently, on Thursday I asked for my mailbox key bc I couldn’t get in & they told me to come back later bc maintenance has them so I came back the next day (Friday), they still didn’t have it. Then on Saturday, I called to ask if they had it & they said yes but when I walked up to the office they told me they didn’t have them & that they lost the copy of my key and needed to order a new one. On Monday I went up to the office and then they told me I needed to give them my money orders & $5 in order to get the key. On a separate occasion I had a tarp on my balcony & the office notified a guest in my apartment that if we did not take it down then we would be charged $75 the next day. The guest never told anyone about the warning the office gave us so the office called us the next day to tell us that if we did not remove it within a few minutes then we would be charged $75, they didn’t care that the message wasn’t relayed to the person who’s name is actually on the lease and said we would still be charged regardless if we got the notice or not.
It is difficult they never solve anything for you, I recommend looking for another place. It is dirty and there are many roaches. No te recomiendo vivir en ese ligar ese muy sucio, la corporación nunca te resuelven loa problemas y hay muchas cucarachas
For 1.) I’ve never seen as many roaches since I moved here 4 yrs ago. 2.) Maintenance takes forever to come. 3.) The rent keeps increasing, and the apartments aren’t even worth the price. You’re better off getting a house. 3.) The front office people will talk smart crap over the phone, but never to your face ??. 4.) Everything is patched up in the apartment. Of course it will look good when you move in, because they are setting you up, but after awhile, you will see the hidden mess. 5.) Again, IT IS OVERPRICED.
Management is extremely rude. After giving someone options, you can't decide you don't want to honor it.
I been living here for three years now and I cant say enough about how great the staff is. The property manager and staff hear at Bella treat you like family and will bend over backwards to help you anyway they can.. They also have a new maintenance staff and they respond to your work order faster and more diligent than before. The grounds are well kept and manicured. The property isn't perfect but one thing I can say is the staff consistently strive to make it better any way they can. This is the first apartment complex I've lived where the property manager treats you like family and not a inconvenience. I would definitely recommend anyone to visit Bella apartments if your looking for a new home.
Bella Apts Beaver Ruin Norcross GA Bella apt use to be great. Super upkeep and great maintenance. New owners new management 2015. 1. The apt were upgrade so the cosmetics are good. 2. Good appliances. 3. Outside upkeep littered with trash around the trash cans. Not enough trash receivers. 4. Management will not change out carpets unless holes are preset. Expect stains when you move in. 5. Pest control and maintenance comes when requested. slow but comes. 6. Rude and limited staff. Most don't speak flaunt English. 7. small choppy rooms. master close goes to bathroom. 8. Bad window and patio doors. Needs improvement. 9. great fixtures 10. Not hardwood just laminate in kitchen, bath and doorway but looks good. 11. Parking is crowded. But no broken down cars. 12. Cats are numerous in the parking areas. 13. Overpriced. Due to the add ons.
Visited this property in search of a new home for my wife and kids. With hopes of being in the school district of our choice. But being given the incorrect info. We were digging in the wrong sandbox. The grounds were clean and the buildings looked well kept and/or groomed. I'd recommend family and friends to check out the Bella Apartments during their next home search. Great prices and very compromising.
They are wayyy over priced. The renovations are cheaply done....
Good value and amenities. Not many close conveniences unless you drive. Very industrial looking around the area.
I currently live here and won't be looking back when I leave. Maintenance takes forever for a simple repair. I have been waiting weeks for a simple light bulb to be replaced.. The quality of the neighborhood has gone down since I moved here and children are left to roam around. The playground area is dismal. Swings are broken, other equipment has peeling paint and is rusted. The pool and spray park was touted as something everyone can enjoy. It is something paying residents can enjoy...meaning you have to buy a pool pass for each person in your household. Every once in a while, the garbage overflows. Machines in the laundromat take your money and the office staff nonchalantly tells you to call the number on the machine, although the machines were supposed to have been fixed. There are no screens on the doors or windows; windows cannot be opened. There is no insulation in the walls so without the heat, your place can get very cold. The place looks good when you do a walk through but the supplies are cheap and eventually fall apart. If you like things that look good on the outside but are seriously lacking on the inside, come to Bella. Otherwise, pay a little more and go somewhere else. Never renting again.
I used to live in a ghetto community that was falling apart from the inside out. Driving into Bella Apartments was such a change for me. I was immediately impressed with how clean the outside looks. Now that I finally moved in my family and I are at peace. My son has made lots of friends and I cant ask for more... Thank you Bella Apartments for taking good care of us:-)
I moved here in July 2013. I'm a very picky person when It comes to where I live. quality of my living surroundings Is #1 for me. I was recommended by a co worker that has lived here for 29 years and frankly I'm so glad he told me about this community. I don't only feel the price is very affordable but I have great neighbors too. I don't plan on leaving here anytime soon.
I moved here out of necessity and would not do it again if I had to. The grounds are poorly kept. Every now and again the trash overflows and the area has to be roped off so no one throws more trash. The mailboxes are dismal; a good amount don't work. We were under the impression that as an amenity, the pool and the spray park would be free but you have to pay for passes. The laundromat was supposedly supposed to be finished in February, but was not finished until late July-August. Maintenance used to come as soon as you called, but now they take forever, if they come at all. I reported a leak a few months ago that came from the upstairs apartment. They came a month later and said they saw no sign of a leak but they patched up the damage. There are no screens for the windows and they do not open. They are old. Teens roam the neighborhood and the park itself is dismal at best. The front office staff has a general disinterest and act as though you are an inconvenience. You can also hear your neighbors through the wall. After this experience, I refuse to ever rent again. The price for rent went up, and it is certainly not worth the price. I lived in low income apartment housing before coming here and they did a much better job there than the staff at Bella apartments.
Property Manager at Bella Apartments, Responded To This Review
Your rent will go up. They just went up on mine talking about it's a "cost of living" increase.
I move into my apartment last November from Connecticut, I love living here. It's a safe quiet, friendly environment with plenty of kids. The staff is great & far from rude. As long as my rent do not go up I will be staying longer.
I was so grateful that Bella Apartments was able to move me in as quickly as they did! I was coming from out of town and did not want to stay in a Hotel for more than 3 days. The approval process was easy and quick. The staff was so caring and down to earth. I'm in love with my apartment and hope to continue to enjoy staying here......
