Henderson is a stunning city south of Las Vegas. It has the amenities you want in a metro area, but still relatively small in comparison to its counterpart. Top attractions near Henderson involve the Las Vegas Strip. Small, local casinos call this city home – but most people frequent Las Vegas when they want to spend a night out on the town. Although, community attractions in Henderson include the Clark County Museum, a distillery, and the Bird Viewing Preserve.
Surrounded by natural areas, residents of Henderson love to explore – and they don’t take it lightly either. River Mountains Loop is a scenic nature trail over 34 miles long, with gorgeous views of wildlife and vistas of the Mojave Desert. The Green Valley Ranch and Sunset Hotel & Casino are a few of the neighborhood casinos in Henderson. In addition to apartments near nature and entertainment, locals like being close to the University of Nevada, water parks, and golf courses.

Property Ratings at Bella Terra Apartments
So there's a lot of terrible things to say but the easiest is the terrible management and poor communication from the so called leader Nancy. She is the most unprofessional and frankly messy person I've ever rented from. Due to the lack of accountability I decided not to renew my lease in march. Immediately after I made that known the threats and blackmails started to ensue. Then when I moved out leaving my apartment SPOTLESS mind you I was billed 800 for an alleged hole in the patio and a broken door which was never broken . If you are a future tenant you've been warned. They are the worst places in Henderson. Not to mention the crime and stolen mail that happens on the regular.
Terra Bella is not a safe place. During the night homeless people are walking around, sleeping, smoking, taking baths in the gym area. It’s getting run down fast. The apartment is not so great.
Just moved in and had to clean the apartment even though they charge you a cleaning fee for when you move out, not to mention I had to stay at a hotel for a week while it was "getting clean". Maintenance has an attitude because they have to keep coming back to fix things that didn't get fixed the 1st time around. Shared my concerns about the stove door getting scalding hot and being worried that my baby might accidentally get burnt by accident and got today by the manager she personally doesn't allow her kids in the kitchen while she cooks...neither do I, but accidents happen and oven doors shouldn't get THAT hot, so way to insult me as a mother...
1. I paid my rent using their website. I received an email thanking me for making my payment on time. Ten days later I received an email saying there was a problem with my payment and I was charged $100 2. I noticed a strange smell in my apartment. At first I thought there might be a dead mouse or something in the air vent. When the smell started getting worse, I discovered it was coming from the closet. Pipes had burst inside the wall, causing water to leak into my closet. There was black mold growing all over the back wall of my closet where I couldn't see. This explains why I had been coughing and feeling congested for weeks. I was particularly concerned about this; because I served in Afghanistan and a guy in my unit developed severe COPD from black mold exposure. I wanted to have the air quality in my apartment tested, because I felt like I had a right to know what I had been exposed to. Management rudely told me that repairs needed to be done first thing in the morning (so they could cover up the evidence of their negligence). The next morning maintenance came in while I was gone to do the repairs. I came home to find a large commercial fan blowing into my closet (using my electricity of course). I went to sleep (I work at night) and in the afternoon I woke up and saw the maintenance guy standing in my bedroom watching me sleep. He had just walked into my apartment without announcing himself to get the fan. No one from management ever apologized or offered me any compensation for the inconvenience or the sickness I had because of their negligence. I asked about the damaged electronics and clothes that I had in my closet, and of course that's something I need to get resolved through my renter's insurance. 3. I ordered a package that was scheduled to be delivered on the 17th. USPS tracking shows that it was delivered to the office on the 17th but the office can't find it. This isn't surprising because they don't ask for any I.D. or require anyone to sign for packages. I'm sure they accidentally gave it to another person. But of course, they aren't responsible for the thousands of dollars worth of packages they receive. First come, first served I guess...
I would not recommend these apartments to anyone and I have lived here for 17 years and are now looking for a new place to live. It all started when we received a new manager. I had a flood in my apartment the hot water heater leaked. I called the emergency number 3 times and left a message for the office. I received no call back. When I finally got a hold of the office they had the nerve to tell me they were down there working why was I so upset. I replied a call back would be nice. Then in April I have a second flood in my home from the bathroom. I came home to water in the dining room, bedroom and kitchen. I called the Bella Terra number and I got a recording. On the recording it states that if your air conditioner is out or you are having a flood or plumbing issues in a one bedroom apartment then call the 24 hour emergency maintenance number. Well we have a two bedroom and they did not respond the last time I called. So, I sent my husband to Albertsons to rent a machine to vacuum up the water. Now I am trying to get reimbursed for the expense and this girl has the nerve to tell me that corporate says it's not justified. Really????? The girl said I should have called the emergency number. I told her what her recording says on the Bella Terra number and she got quiet. I then told her they never responded when I called that number for the first flood. She said well I was not here for that, but I'll have the manager call you. Here it is day two and I have left another message for the manager with no call back and it took them over a month to come back to fix what was damaged and it's not all completely done. Plus the crew knocked the thermostat off the wall and I have two different colors of carpet now and I didn't get my free cleaning again when I resigned my lease.
We've recently had a new manager take over. No one knows his name he has no intention of knowing any of us. He let go a Greatworker (who cared) for people who have no idea who we are. We've been here for over 7 years. They spent so much money making the office look good but want to raise our rent for apts that have the same old appliances we've had since I was here when I was 11. There are apts that have different blinds then others , different faucets , because they haven't finished doing all of the "remodels" after 6 years. They just tore up the sidewalk outside of the office and replaced it and put giant fountains in front of it though. Thank god our office looks amazing. But the apts are not worth the price, especially with them raising rent. It's all about money with this new manager no customer service. And his nephew who he hired to work in the office is so rude. He's sarcastic and mean if you have any issue you bring up to him. He waves to me on the balcony but I just went in the other day and he didn't even know I lived there. His first question was "are you looking for an apt?" I had to tell him I lived there already. And I pay my rent with him every month! They have no heart. There used to be a woman that worked there who was amazing and knew all of us. She was there for years and he fired her because she had too much of an emotional attachment to all of us. Well yeah we have all lived her for countless years and it was because of her. Thus place has gone down hill. I was here back when it was Napa valley. I've seen it change into Bella terra. I've known all the managers and workers and the ones here now are the absolute worst
